steve said in his mind while carrying the coffin of mia.
mia's funeral was over, but Steve was left in the church and silently crying there.
"my darling, I miss you so much" he said and cried again.
he saw someone walking towards him and he saw natasha so he immediately wiped his tears.
"you don't need to hide. you know we're all here for you, I'm sure she's happy wherever she is." natasha said and hug steve, the hug made steve cried again.

while the avengers are mourning over mia, bucky and brami are watching them from far.
"hmm I like the view"
"me too, i like to see them mourn for that weak woman." brami said and sip again on her coffee.
"you really hate that woman huh?"
"of course, she was the one who made me weak. that's why I resent her so much." brami said while griping tightly on the cup, that end up breaking.
"oh shit babe." bucky said and wipe her palm
"stop i can wipe my own palm."
"no let me do it." brami just gave up and bucky wipe her palm. after wiping her palm, a man came to bucky and whispered something. after that he stands up and look around
"let's go babe, we're done here." bucky said and brami get up on her seat.
"I'm done watching them mourn." brami said and they both smiled. bucky held her waist while walking to the car.
"you like holding my waist huh."
"do you remember? before you're the one who always holds my waist."
"really? I did that?"
"yup because I was always injured after our mission. that's why I'm the one who's holding the waist now." bucky explained and brami stops to look at him.
"we're not in a competition babe okay? so you can hold my waist everytime." she said and come closer to cup his face.
bucky take her hand that got wounded earlier and kiss it.
"still hurt?"
"not anymore"
"good, now let's go."

"hey cap, you alright?"
steve was surprised when someone spoke and he around and he see sam.
"oh hey sam"
"here have some beer." sam offer a beer in can and steve gladly take it.
"so how have you been lately?"sam ask but he already knew the answer.
"uhm good, yeah I'm good."
"well your house says otherwise."sam said and look around. steve realized that 'their house' is a mess.
"uh I'm sorry about that, i was busy you know with uh finding someone." steve said and look down.
"still looking for that man? the man with a metal arm?"
"yeah, and I think saw that man's eyes before."steve explained.
after the incident at the avengers compound couple months ago, tony retrieve all the cctv footage and saw what the man looks like. and also what happened before the explosion.
and unfortunately they can't saw his face because he was wearing a mask. even jarvis can't find and locate the man.
"where do you think you saw him?"
"i dont know, but he really seems familiar."
"have you fought with him before?"
"i fought with hydra before, but not with him. I think he's just a newbie."
"yeah maybe he's a newbie"
"before I forgot, its from fury. he says you should read this." sam said and took a a hard drive from his pocket.
"what's this?"
"i don't know, you go check it."
steve just nodded and keep talking to sam. after a while, sam left and steve remembered about the hard drive.
after opening the hard drive, he saw a note that says
'call me when you're done with this -fury'
he does exactly what Sam's said. he opened every file in there and he saw why natasha found mia's file a classified one.
"why?"
after reading all of it he immediately called fury.
"you done reading all of it?"fury asked right away.
"why? why do you have to put a classified mark on her file when in the first place there's nothing in there??!"
"isn't it suspicious? that we cannot find a single information about her?"
"maybe she just wanted to be private!"
"you already said it, there was nothing. we only knew her existence when her grandmother found her. that's the only information we had on her"
"do you not wonder why her name is only mia? why she doesn't had a surname?"
"your girlfriend, well technically ex-girlfriend, is a mystery to us. and the only way to found out is that you go to her grandma's house and talk to them." fury said and drop the call.
steve hasn't been back to her grandmother's house since she disappeared.
and for sure her family is mad at him.
"i gotta go." he said and stand up and get ready. before he leaves the house he saw mia's necklace at the table and he took it.
"this is for you my darling."
he said and get out of his house. he's a about to hop in his car when he saw a car approaching.
the car stops in front of him, the window rolled down and he saw nat smiling.
"looks like someone needs a ride."
"did fury ask you to accompany me?"
"why? did he gave you a mission already? that moth--"
"looks like someone doesn't know what's happening." steve mocking nat and nat just shrugged.
"whatever get in."

"how have you been lately??" mia's grandma asked steve. it took a while to steve to answer the question.
"I'm definitely not okay" he said and grandma hug him and right after that he burst into tears again.
"its okay to not be okay captain."
"we are all hurt by her death."
they were like that for a while and when steve calm down, grandma already knew why they came to her house.
"i already know why you two came here." grandma said and both nat and steve just nodded.
"can you explain to us how you found my mia?"steve ask and grandma starts to explain.
-flashback 5 years ago-
laye and her family are enjoying their day at the beach.
"mom, grandma's here!" leyi said and laye saw her mother that's looks like she have something to say.
"are you okay mom? what is it?"
"i saw a woman there, and she's unconscious!" she said and pointed to where she found the woman he was referring to.
"what? how can you identify it?" laye asked.
"I'm a retired doctor, i know if someone is unconscious or not. help me take her to my clinic!" she said and and laye immediately respond.
they went to the area where the woman was found, and they saw a unconscious woman.
"woah, she has a lot of wounds. I wonder what she did to end up like this." leyi said and grandma shush her.
"leyi its not time to talk, get the car!" she ordered and went to help carry the woman.
"shouldn't we call for help to the police?"laye suggested but her mother disagreed.
"we have to help her first! can't you see that her stomach is stabbed?" she said and laye look at its stomach and you can see a large wound in there.
"oh yeah you're right"
after they brought the woman to the clinic. grandma found out that she has a amnesia due to severe head injury.
and they also told the local police what happened to the woman and they're just waiting for her to wake up.
"mom this is the last time that you will do this."
laye said but grandma got annoyed to her.
"stop dictating me what to do, I'm gonna help people if they needed it."
they were arguing about it when they heard something groaning. they realized that it was the woman.
"oh my, you awake? how are you?"
the woman didn't answer her instead she looked around and was about to get up when her head hurt.
"ahhhh!"
"you're not allowed to get up yet." grandma said and the woman followed her.
after treating her well, grandma finally got a chance to ask her some questions.
"do you remember your name?"
"uh I can't"
"you don't remember anything?"
"yeah, even you i don't know you."
"I'm your grandma" everyone in the room was surprised when she told her that.
"really? then can you tell me what's my name?"
"your name is mia"
"really?"
"yes, and you are our family."
and just like that she had a new identity and that lasted for years.
"grandma can i have a job now? please?"mia asked grandma while holding her arms.
"no mia, i can't let you out there. what if you got in trouble or something again?"
"its been 3 years! I can handle myself!"
"I'm worried about you mia! I don't want to let you out there okay?"
"please grandma? let us have a job?"leyi then joined them.
"i promise to look out for her and take care of her, anything to make her safe." leyi said and raise her hand
"me too I will take care of her too, so please grandma let us have a job??"
"fine, as long as both of you are work in a safe place then I will let you."
"yes thank you grandma!"
"thank you so much grandma!!"
they were supposed to apply the same job at a company but mia wanted to start in a small area.
so she chose to work at a coffee shop. she was enjoying her job there when unfortunate event happened.
mia was serving a customer when she heard a gunshot, she was terrified and immediately duck.
se didn't know why her body was suddenly shaking and she was turning pale.
later a man with a gun slowly approached her and pointed at her.
"please don't kill me, please!" she beg while crying.
"show me where the money is!" the man said and grab her to the counter. out of fear she started to open the cash register.
mia was about to hand out the money to him when a man with a shield came and started to fight the man.
after the man defeated the thief, he immediately approached mia.
"hey miss, you okay?"
"clearly not" right after that she fainted, good thing the man catch her evwn before she fall.
and that was their first time meeting each other.
after the incident, mia always went to see steve and steve did the same. they started going out since then.
-present time-
"and the rest is history." grandma ended her story about mia.
"what clothes she was wearing that day you found her?"nat suddenly ask.
"i can't recall because it was 5 five years ago, but she was wearing a kind of that suit but with a purple lines on her upper body." grandma said pertaining to nat's suit.
"like my suit?"
"yeah, it was nearly destroyed but I still kept it."
"can we take a look?" steve ask and grandma stand up.
"sure, just wait here." grandma left to take the suit they were asking for.
"why'd you asked for that??" steve ask nat but she just shrugged.
"i don't know, i just want to see it."
"really? I think you have something in mind." steve just looking directly at nat's eyes.
"fine! I really feel like I know who is she, remember the tattoo i found on her nape??"
"yeah and?"
"when I see the suit, that's the only time I can confirm that she is a member of hydra."
"what?! that doesn't make sense!" steve said and nat was about to replied when grandma came back with mia's suit.
"I'm sorry if its a little bit dusty but here." she said and give the suit to them.
nat took the suit from grandma and was surprised by what she saw.
"it looks like your suit nat" steve said and nat was in shock.
"I'll leave you two here." grandma said and left them.
"only red room creates a suits like this!" nat said while walking back and forth.
"well you never know" steve said and his phone ring.
"its fury" he said and answer the call.
["I'm sorry to disturb both of you, but we need you here. now."]
"we better get going now."

after they arrived at avengers compound, fury immediately tells what he heard from his agents.
"my people found this guy, he is believed to be the one who drove the car that the man who took miss mia."
"really? where he is? should we get going now?" steve asks eagerly and fury shakes his head.
"its better for you to stay here, and let them do the work."
"what? why?"
"you are physically, emotionally and mentally unstable, so you won't go with them for the mean time." fury explained and steve didn't like it.
"i don't care if I'm unstable, we're talking about mia here, so I will do everything to get justice that she deserves!"he yelled and about to walk out when someone came in.
"I'm sorry sir but you have to stay in here."
"who are you?" fury immediately ask because he doesn't know him.
"yeah he's right, who are you??" tony asked too and fury look at him.
"you don't know your workers?"
"he's clearly not one of my workers, no one can come up here in this room except us 'the avengers'. so I'm gonna ask you again, who are you?"
tony asked again and everyone was slowly getting their guns.
"i told you stay in here."
"why?"steve asks
"because we're here." and after he said that everyone in the room starts to choke.
"e-emergency! w-we have security b-breached!" fury radioed his agents but none of them were answering.
while everyone was choking, steve is finding the man but can't find him.
"f-fuck, w-what's happening?"
"i c-cant breathe!"
then everyone starts to lose their consciousness, and steve was the last one to lose his consciousness.
but before he lose his consciousness, he saw the man that is responsible for mia's death

"i told you babe we're too early!" brami said and rolled her eyes.
"its better to be early than late" bucky said and pinch her cheek.
"aww stop!"
"okay okay, put down your gun babe I'm just kidding."
"idiot, I'm just gonna clean it, I forgot to-" brami was interrupt when a man speak on their comms.
'natasha romanoff and steve rogers just entered the building.'
"get to your positions now"brami ordered and starts cleaning her gun.
"oh i thought we're early, we're just right on time."bucky said and took his guns at the backseat of the car.
after their men gets in position, they watch what is happening inside through the monitor.
little did they know that once they were inside the room,the chemicals mixed in the air conditioner gradually enter their bodies and that was the reason why they lost consciousness earlier.
"let's go babe." bucky said and is ready to go.
"I'll go later" brami said and look away from bucky. bucky didn't want to leave her alone in the car but they need to move fast so he just nodded to her.
"just follow right away, okay?" he said and kiss her forehead.
after that, brami kept on watching the avengers that is losing consciousness one by one.
"so fun, they look helpless." she said then laugh.
every people in the avengers compound, except them, are all unconscious. that's why they infiltrate it so easily.
"I thought this is going to be hard"
she saw on the monitor that the avengers are being tied up by bucky and their men.
and they also put a protective device around wanda's neck so she can't use her powers later.
they shut down the whole building too, including Tony's ai so it can't contact anyone from the outside.
bucky remove every weapon that belongs to the avengers so they can't use it against them.
'babe come up here now'
"i said later. you miss me already?" brami seductively ask bucky.
'yeah I miss you already, so can we get this done now?' he ask but brami just shrugged.

"what is this?"
"get me out of here!"
steve woke up to the screams and saw what was happening to them now.
"oh finally the captain is awake now!"
Steve looked for who spoke and saw the man on the other side of the room.
"you! what the fuck did you to my mia?!" steve asked angrily and only then did the others realize that he was the one who kidnapped mia.
"cap? he's the one who kidnapped miss mia?" thor asked because he doesn't know what he looks.
"yes thor, and I'm gonna kill him for that." steve answered and bucky just laugh sarcastically.
"really? when you can't even get up?" bucky said and roll his eyes.
"what does the hydra want from us?" fury asked seriously.
"we don't need anything from you guys, but her?there is something she needs from you." bucky said and becomes serious.
"and who's she?? what does she need?" tony asked, and bucky replied to him
"revenge"
after he said that the door opened and a woman in a black and purple suit came in.
natasha immediately looked at Steve when she saw what the woman was wearing. steve is confuse now and can't understand what is going on.
"i think I know you" wanda said while looking intently at her.
"oh yes you do" she said and remove her hood that's attached to her suit.
when she removed her hood, everyone was shocked, especially steve.
"m-mia?" steve said in disbelief and tears welled up in his eyes. brami walk towards steve and held his face.
"well I am not mia." after brami said that he punch steve in the face really hard.
"oh my gosh cap!"
"mia!"
"steve!"
