After a delicious dinner- thank you Mrs.Potts and Mr.Rogers- and a concerning walk for all of the Avengers with Peter constantly tripping over his own feet, they were sitting on the couch in the common room arguing on a movie to watch. After about 10 minutes Clint shouted "How about Mall cop!" That made everyone freeze. After they all agreed and settled down Sam brought out some hot chocolate, and after they all said thanks the lights dimmed and the movie started.
About 30 minutes into the movie the team noticed that Peter kept snapping his head up anytime he was starting to doze off. 'Pete, buddy do want to go to bed?' Tony asked softly. 'm'good' Peter slurred out, this caused all of the adults to send each other a worried glance at the small boy. Tony reluctantly nodded and decided to drop the manner. This continued for another 15 minutes before Tony couldn't stop himself and asked the question on all of the adults minds.
'Pete why aren't you sleeping?' Tony asked with a voice only reserved for Peter and Pepper. 'Hmm' nightmaress' Peter slurred out unaware of what he was actually saying. Meanwhile all of the adults were relived and mildly shocked at the fact that the kid had been keeping his nightmares to himself for so long. 'What are they about bud?' Tony asked extremely concerned. 'Hmm Vulturee' Peter slurred out. Tony paled at the mention of the vulture, while the rest of the adults just looked confused. 'who is the vulture? and why does he sound like a rip-off version of me?' Sam asked quietly.
'FRIDAY pull up everything you have on the vulture.' Tony said quietly letting the team read what FRIDAY pulled up as he ran his hands through his proteges hair. Once the team was all caught up they all turned staring with so much concern facing the kid. Even Natasha was showing her concern. 'Pete what about the vulture' Bucky asked softly, 'he dropped ah buildin on meh' Peter stated almost as if it was something that happened everyday. Meanwhile all of the avengers gasped in shock at the revelation. 'FRIDAY pull up anything you can find off of what peter just said.
So when FRIDAY pulled up a article about the collapsed where house and traces of blood found they were all horrified. 'peter we will be talking about this tomorrow but for now get some sleep we will all be right here. Peter silently nodded and buried his face into tonys neck. The soft hum of the arch reactor and his family all around him lulled the boy right off to sleep. After making sure that their favorite boy was asleep they all agreed to talk to him about It when they had some rest. And so they continued the movie with tony carding his hands through peters hair.
