Another day at school
The Monday after the press conference Peter decided to go to school one more time before he quit. His typical last day as a teenager going to school. He wasn't the nerdy kid at school anymore. He was the Son of Tony and Pepper Stark, a genius finishing high school for the second time, and the heir to one of the most prestigious companies out there.
The Avengers tried to convince him to let them come with him but he denied it. He would survive the day with his two amazing best friends by his side. He was known to the world but that wouldn't stop him from loving his last day at school. Sure he would still see his friends every day after school and before but it was not the same. He may be going to school as a student but his teachers already had asked him to teach his science and maths classes.
"Peter you know you don't have to go in today. Why not another day? One where we all could come with you," Steve tried to reason with the young Stark.
"No uncle Steve. I have to go in. I may be spiderman and the son of the two most influential people in the world, but I'm still a normal teenager to some extent. I'm going to be Peter Parker for one last day. Don't send anyone dad, that includes Uncle Scott. I'll have MJ and Ned right by side," Peter replies
"But Bambi-" Pepper begins
"No buts mum. I hate attention but this is going to carry on getting worse. I will be fine I promise," Peter says cutting Pepper off.
"Are you sure?" Shuri asks
"I'm sure Shuri. You can contact me through the beads throughout the day if you want okay?" Peter promises "We're going to be late. Come on Ned, MJ. I'm driving!"
~During the car ride~
"Peter you know what they were saying is right. Maybe you should come another day, with one of them," MJ says
"MJ I'll be fine. I promise," Peter says
"Peter-" MJ says again but slowly
"I said I'll be fine!" Peter replies
"PETER YOU ARE TEACHING 4 OUT OF 6 CLASSES TODAY!" MJ exclaims
"Peter she is right you know this is not normal," Ned says
"Look, this is going to be a part of my life now. In a year's time, I'm going to be taking over SI. Today I'll be teaching those lessons as Peter Parker, not Peter Stark. I know this is not ideal for me or any of us but this is the last day that I will be here as a student," Peter replies as he finishes parking his car
Getting out of the car Ned says "Peter you do realise that you aren't a normal student here anymore. You are literally a celebrity, sure there's the idiot called flash but that's not the only thing, you have an IQ similar to Tony and Bruce, do you know how amazing that is?"
"Clearly not," Peter mutters walking into his first lesson of the day
~time skips to the last lesson that Peter is teaching~
"So guys, I am Peter St-Parker as you know-" he begins to only be cut off
"Can I be your girlfriend?" someone from his class shouts out
Before the teacher could tell the kid off, Peter replies "Nope, and carrying on with today's lesson we will be carrying on from the last lesson and will be talking about the different uses of polymers-"
Soon enough it was the end of the day. Luckily for Peter, he had already cleared out his locker during the lunch break he had and everything was in his car.
Walking out of the school was a problem though. Mr Harrington, principal Morita, Ned and MJ were all surrounding Peter as he walked out of the school. The whispers were getting louder and people were not backing down.
Not Being able to deal with it anymore Peter looks up and Shouts "ENOUGH! As soon as I announce that I am the son of Tony and Pepper Stark you all are interested in me? This is the reason that my parents didn't announce this when I was born. I was raised like a normal kid. I may have had thousands and thousands of money poured into my upbringing but I don't care about enough that. So here's another thing I'm going to tell you. This is my last day here at Midtown high, I'm going home to work with the employees of SI and on my PhD. If I hear from anyone that people are annoying Ned or MJ be warned that you won't face only the wrath of Principal Morita but also all of the avengers. Thank you for my time here and goodbye."
With that Peter walks out of the building with his friends. Not looking back once.
