Meet Princess Shuri Of Wakanda
"Peter didn't you say you were going to go on Patrol," Natasha reminds her nephew
"Oh yeah. Thanks for reminding me Auntie Nat," peter says activating his suit.
"Fri, open the window here, please," Tony says so that his son could go on patrol
"Done," the AI replies
"Thanks, dad. Karen, can you please open the window of my room? And if Ned and MJ need anything make sure they are attended to," Peter says as he swings out of the compound into the streets of New York
Peter spends the next 2 hours patrolling, stopping a few robberies as well as helping some elderly. When he got back to the compound as promised his window was open and he climbed back in.
Showering and getting into more comfortable clothes, Peter grabs his school bag and heads off into the common room on his floor, to find his two friends sitting there and doing their work.
"Hey, guys. What are you doing?" Peter asks plopping down on the sofa next to Ned
"Just finishing some homework. When did you get back?" Ned replies
"15 minutes ago. I just showered before I came here," peter replies "how come you guys aren't working in your rooms?"
Shrugging MJ replies "We thought it'd be easier if we do work together."
"Okay cool. Well, I'm going to pull an all-nighter since it's the weekend. Do you guys want to also pull one? I mean you don't have since I'll mostly be just completing some work for my PhD and the homework we got," peter asks
"Sounds fun. What things do you have to do whenever you get free time?" MJ asks
"Well I'm usually with the guys upstairs gaming or watching a movie," Peter replies
"Do you have anything else to do?" MJ asks not really wanting to go back upstairs
"Well I have to be in my lab for a while to do something for PhD so if you guys want you can tinker with some things, maybe work on the notes that you working on for uncle Bruce," Peter suggests
"Sounds like a plan," Ned says
And the trio head off into the comfort of Peter's lab for the next couple of hours and dives into the world of science and engineering.
(The next morning)
Karen's voice rings out saying "Peter, your mother wants, you, Ned and MJ to get ready in some presentable clothes and come to the common room in the penthouse."
Nodding to his friends peter replies with a tired "Tell mum we'll be up in 15 minutes."
Getting up from where he was situated he went over to his friends and woke them up. They had fallen asleep a couple of hours prior and didn't wake up despite their uncomfortable position. Waking up they enquired what the matter was.
"Mum wants us to be upstairs in the common room, we got 15 minutes," peter replied walking off to his room to get dressed, both his friends followed shortly after him
As promised Peter and his two best friends were in the common room 15 minutes later and were greeted by Natasha "Morning MJ, Ned, and маленький паук."
The three teens reply with a Lazy "good morning."
As they enter the kitchen they see that the entire family is there and Peter asks "Mum, you said it was something urgent when you called us up. Is everything alright?"
"Shuri and T'challa are arriving just before lunch, so I just wanted to tell you guys so you can clean up your floor, and lab and maybe tide up Shuri's room?" Pepper says hopefully
"Mum as much as I love you, everyone else here along with the rouges, Shuri and uncle T'challa, I value my life. The last time I tried to enter her room without her being here or in her room I was nearly strangled," Peter says shuddering at the memory
Shrugging Tony says "I thought it was a one-time thing."
Peter shakes his head and digs into his breakfast, as do his friends. As they said they would, the trio soon find themselves back where they were prior to the chaotic breakfast they had minutes before. They set out to cleaning the floor and Lab and soon enough everything was done.
The trio head into the common room on their floor collapsing on the couches before MJ voices the question that Ned and she have had for a couple of hours "Peter how come you never told us you knew princess Shuri?"
"Well it didn't come up and I didn't know they were coming to visit until this morning. You were there as well when they told us!" Peter defends himself
"you can't argue with that MJ," Ned says
"So what do you do on days like this?" MJ asks now changing the subject
"Well, I would generally work in the labs with the interns helping them, help dad or uncle Bruce, Patrol or work on my PhD because I generally finish school homework during the week," Peter shrugs indifferently
"I still can't understand how you can do so much and still say sane," Ned says
"I agree Parker how do you do it?" MJ asks
"Well as my mum was saying at dinner last night I've had my whole life to adjust to the things that I'm doing. I started helping out in the labs at the age of 5, got a high school diploma when I was 8, completed my bachelor's when I was 11 with a triple major, and got 2 majors by the time I was 15. Then I applied to Midtown high so I can get a glimpse of having a somewhat normal life, got bit by a radioactive spider decided to become spiderman, and changed my routine from time to time until I got the perfect one that I follow now and I have the most amount of time to do as I desire over the weekend," Peter replies
"You forget attending some business meetings as Pepper or Tony's personal intern because they don't know about them having a kid," a voice from behind the trio says
Turning around the three friends come face to face with the princess of Wakanda. Peter jumps over the couch and tackles his other best friend into a bear hug. After a while, both of them let go and turn to the other two presents in the room.
"Parker you know it's rude not to introduce people right?" MJ asks
"Right sorry. Guys this is Shuri the princess of Wakanda," Peter says pointing to the princess next to him
"Nice to meet you guys. I'm assuming your Med and MJ?" Shuri asks
"Yup," the duo reply
"Nice! It's finally nice to meet the infamous helpers of spidey. He never shuts up about you two especially you MJ," Shuri says with her signature smirk
"I like this one Peter. She'll fit right into our group," Ned says with a grin of his own
Ignoring what both Ned and Shuri said Peter asks "how long are going to be here for Shuri?"
"Well, a while actually. I think till the end of the next school year. I know this year is going to be ending soon," Shuri says
"Cool which school are you going to be joining?" MJ asks
"Midtown actually. T'challa thought it would be nice if I was around people my own age. You guys are actually going to be seniors next year right?" Shuri says
"Yup, Peter here is the oldest in our trio, and is turning 18 in September (idk when Peter's actual bday is so imagine it 24th September)" MJ says
"Nice well I'm going to go to my room and unpack while you guys carry on doing whatever, but I just want to let you know that aunt Pepper wants you up soon for lunch," Shuri says walking off
"Well you better go see what your mother wants Pete," Ned says
"I probably should you guys should too then you can meet uncle T'challa before the chaos starts," Peter says
Nodding the trio head of the elevator Peter asks "Karen can you please take us up to the common room and also tell Shuri that we all are up here so that she knows where we are."
"Sure Peter," the AI replies
"Anyway Peter how come you are so close with Shuri and King T'challa?" Ned questions
"Well I met them when I was young around 5, and Shuri and I became very close. So ever since then, he said I could call him uncle and I guess I have but if you think of it since he is Shuri's older brother he technically is like an older brother to me and he is at times," Peter replies as the elevator stops
Getting off the couch the trio head to the common room to find the commotion of everyone being there.
"GUYS!" MJ shouts loudly after waiting for 5 minutes so that any one of the adults would notice them
At the sound of a young female voice, T'challa turns around and spots Peter and his two friends.
Getting up the king walks up to Peter and says "hey Pete how are you?"
"I'm good uncle T'challa. How are you?" The young stark replies to the greeting
"I'm good," he starts and turns to the other two and says "you must be the famous ned and MJ. Peter talks about you guys a lot whenever he visits or whenever we come over."
"We are honestly still trying to fathom the fact that Peter is a Stark, the heir to SI let alone talk about us to the avengers and the king of Wakanda," MJ says humbly
"Oh, when did you guys find out he was Stark's son?" T'challa question
"Yesterday night, your Majesty," Mj replies
"Please call me T'challa or Uncle like Petey does. It feels weird when people who I would consider family call me Majesty," T'challa says with a small smile
"you consider us family?" Ned asks in awe
Nodding T'challa replies "Anyone Peter considers family is like family to us Avengers. Right guys?"
