the winx saga
A/N: Hey so I am in the middle of finishing the last episode of Fate: The Winx Saga and Riven has kinda grown on me so here is a one shot of him for you! Enjoy and I promise I haven't fallen off the face of the earth!! Alright to the story!
When Riven woke up that morning he felt horrible, not to mention that Silva was working the specialist way too hard for his liking because of the two attacks on the school and having to save his friends. As he got up his stomach started churning and cramping he didn't want to say anything but he could feel Sky's glance on him so he continued to push through, that how ever was a bad idea as training started he felt worse by the minute but yet he still pushed through. He could feel the fever that had built over the course of the day building and burning though his bones ( not literally) and to top it all off Sky decided to come over and talk during their break that they got ( finally)
" Hey look I can tell your not doing well I don't have to have powers to understand that I've been your friend since we got here and I've been watching you train and you're being sluggish." Sky rants not knowing that Riven was only half listening to him while glancing at the water below them scowling.
" Mate I get that you're worried but in all honesty I'm fine I just didn't sleep well last night and am just tired this morning so lay off." He snapped not really meaning to but not really noticing being tired.
" Don't try to lie to me cause I can see you're not ok mind fairy remember?" A voice said behind him. Riven was so annoyed at this point he just packed his Bag up and left to go back to his and Sky's shared dorm not noticing Musa and Sky's concerned looks, when all of a sudden he got a piercing pain in his stomach that made him collapse and nearly pass out , a few minutes later sky came running up the path after he'd seen Riven take off, Sky had known Riven had been sick from the first time he'd seen him back at the dorm. When he found Riven he was nearly unconscious while holding on to his middle, and wincing in pain which for Riven to show pain was a huge thing.
" hold on Riv I'm here and I'm not going to leave you, where does it hurt? Can you talk to me?" Sky asked worried that something was seriously wrong with his friend. As he slung Rivens arm around his neck he could feel the heat from his fever through his cloths.
" S- stop Sky it hurts to much, can't go much farther." Riven whimpered which concerned Sky much more and wanted to get to the school faster. Sky ignored his friends pleading and picked him up bridle style and hurried towards the school before Riven went limp, luckily for them the winx suite was out studying for a test they had.
" We need some help here! Please!! Riven's sick it's pretty bad!" Sky called out and the girls all looked up panicked to see Riven unconscious in Sky's arms, yes Riven could be a dick and a bully sometimes but no one ever deserves to be this sick. Bloom ran over to help carry Riven inside while the others ran ahead to go get help from Dowling and silva, the two headmasters that they trusted the most. Musa being a mind fairy could feel Rivens pain and fear so she speed off to try and help with the situation at hand.
Once they got Riven into the infirmary he decided it would be a good time to wake up still feeling the nausea from early in the morning return he leaned over and threw up, Sky who had spaced out had been brought back to reality when he heard is brother like best friend throwing up.
" Hey it's ok mate just get it up, it's your body's way of purging what's bad in your system." Sky tried to comfort. All the grown ups were out side the room talking but ran in to see what all the commotion was about. Silva walked I first seeing his students one of them being violently sick and the other trying to comfort the other.
" Silva help please I- I don't know what I'm doing and I don't want him to get worse, is there anything you can do to help him?" Sky begged hoping there was an answer to all this and get his friend to stop suffering all this pain and to heal faster. Musa was the last one in the infirmary since she was all the way near where the specialists trained and was trying to get some tips. " Any news yet I know they brought him here a bit ago but anything that helps is one step closer to Riven getting better." Musa said trying to help the tension, " they think it's a twenty four hour thing and because Riven doesn't get sick alot according to Sky and it hits him the hardest which I hate." Bloom responded.
Once Sky came back out the had tears running down his face Silva had helped calm Riven down and helped him during bouts of sickness but Sky was still scared but knowing they got him there in time, " hey how's he doing?" Bloom asked knowing the answer but deep down wanting it to be different. " he's in a lot of pain but they say he should be getting better by next week, it's not a twenty four hour thing like they thought it's leaning more towards a stomach bug or flu which would make since as to why he was sick so much and why it it him so hard when I was in there." Sky explained as the girls went in to see Riven.
They prepared themselves for what they might see and went over all the possible scenarios in their heads ( which wasn't helpful for Musa.) once they were in they saw riven in a bed to the far right with an IV of fluids and medication going since he couldn't hold anything down at the moment.
" Hey Riv how you doing? We helped Sky bring you here apparently you had a fever of 104.00 and rising, why didn't you tell him?" Bloom asked concerned that something was going on between the boys, they were known to have their fights here and there. Riven just sighed opened his fever glazed eyes and looked away throat hurting from all the throwing up he'd done , " I didn't tell him because as I don't know if it's obvious but Sky is always the attention and I knew if I told him then he would think I would try and get out of training so I pushed through even when I could feel my fever rising and all." He explained and rolled over on the arm that didn't have the IV in it so he wouldn't see the sad pity looks they were giving him
When Sky came in after the girls told him what Riven had said and confronted him he was a mixture of sad, angry, and confused. " why didn't you tell me? I don't want to argue but I want answers you nearly gave me a heart attack you had a fever of 104 almost 105 and I wasn't just going to stand there while you were sick and probably dying!" Sky yelled only looking at Riven to see a flash of guilt and fear but only for a second and he knew he hit his mark. " as you said I had a pretty high fever so I don't know what I was saying so lay off and when I get better I'll beat your ass at sparing when I'm able to." Riven shot back.
A few days passed and Riven was aloud to go back to the dorm and rest a few more days passed and he was aloud to train and as promised beating Sky's ass.
Heyo so it's me again and I thought I should update this book again I think imma do one more story then complete it idk tho, I know I fell of the face of the earth again but I'm back!! So yeah review and vote!
