
"Ow-- Baby, I almost fell.." The lawyer would say to her girlfriend, who kept managing to put her foot in the wrong place.. and didn't have much talent in the genera of dancing she was aware of..
"Sorry, Pookie.." Maureen pouted to Joanne. She was a performer.. But not so light on her feet. And she genuinely didn't mean to hurt her significant other..
"I know, Honey-Bear.. I know. Just-- Follow my lead." Joanne smiled to the shorter female, brushing a strand of her girlfriends dark brown hair out of her face before intertwining their fingers together.
They followed the beat of the music.

Joanne would sigh lightly, but there was no anger in her voice. But then again, she paused to her girlfriend tripping in her heels. "Are you okay?" She spoke, bringing a hand down to her girlfriends cheek and traced a thumb lightly against her soft skin, a smile on her lips as she showed her small hint of worry to the other.
Maureen would go to speak, but she was cut off from quiet laughter on the side of them. Both females looked over to see the dirty blonde haired videographer, who would be recording this little thing. He would have been couched, recording the way their feet stumbled, but then also how the couple danced, laughed, smiled and etc. But he covered his mouth.
"Heh.. I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Mark smiled, and waved towards them to carry on with what they were doing.
But, Joanne didn't want to continue just yet. She rose a brow and crossed her arms a small bit. Looking the male up and down before speaking. "What?"
"Hmm?" Mark hummed, pulling the camera away from his eyes and stopping it.. But decided to wind it back up so it would play without pausing when he started it up again at some point.
"Whats so funny?" The Lawyer said again.
And then mark chuckled faintly to her words.
"Nothing, I was just thinking that.. I could do better."
He smiled, and Joanne would scoff, not in offence, but more in the sense of I cant believe what I'm hearing right now..
She rolled her shoulders back a bit, straightening her posture.
"You." She pointed a finger at him. "Could do better?"
Mark would nod to her words, a smile still present on his face. "Yep."
Mark... The male who learned to tango, with the daughter of a rabbi at a Jewish community center.. Thought he could do better than someone who learned to tango with the daughter of the French Ambassador..! She-- She was not going to have him 'teach' her girlfriend- (and his ex) -how to dance just because of Maureen's small mistakes.
She shook her head. Letting out a small chuckle of disbelief. "No-.. No...." She was not going to be one upped by her Girlfriend's Ex-Boyfriend. Even if they were friends..! She knew mark wouldn't give up the small achievement of teaching Maureen to dance.. ... But... She did want to see if he could manage to tame the..Wonders of Maureen and her dancing skills? The way she thought of it, it seemed rude, yet, she meant it in the most positive way possible. SO...
She would sigh.
"Okay- You can give it a go." Joanne at some point held Maureen's hand as mark got up. Mark mumbling a 'yes' under his breath. Maybe if he felt like it, he might as well do a fist in the air.. Just to drive his joy home. She wondered if a part of him just knew that she would give in at some point... How she knew he would tease and bug her until she let him have this opportunity...
So, when mark made sure his camera was placed down out of harms way, he would walk over, taking off his jacket with a smile, throw it over to his camera. (which it didn't get hurt- Or.. Damaged). He then stretched a bit before holding a hand out for the shortest female, but his eyes would look at the Laywer as she walked past him. Brown eyes meeting Baby blue, he then would lean closer and smile.
"Watch and Learn...Pookie."
He teased with the nickname, really making sure the name hits her, saying it in that same tone Maureen does, pouting his lips, leaning his head faintly closer before getting a small scoff from her, and then a hand to his face as she shoved his stupid grin away, making his glasses go up his face before falling back down on the bridge of his nose. The interaction was playful, but then again.. She wanted to slap that dumb smile the dirty blonde hair had right off.
"Go on then." Joanne crossed her arms, looking at the ex-couple as mark positioned himself to be leader. Placing a hand around the hourglass body shape Maureen possessed, where it should be.. But a little to low for Joanne liking.. But, she shook her head mentally and would watch them.

"Ow-" Mark exclaimed lightly when Maureen would have stepped onto his foot. And to that Joanne would stifle a laugh behind her hand, and Mark would look over at her. A look of 'Really?'...It was already hard enough for him to do the dance BACKWARDS, he kept tripping over his feet faintly.. But he couldn't get mad when in full honesty, it was a taste of his own medicine in a way.
Joanne looked at Maureen, who seemed to be having fun learning the dance, even if it led her to accidentally hurt the feet her lover, (and past lover) stepped with.
"You're doing great, Baby!" She smiled to her girlfriend, and Maureen would smile. "Thanks, Pookie!" She giggled, and Mark rolled his eyes faintly, muttering an "oh brother--" But it was quiet enough where his singleness wasn't heard against the love the two women had for one another in this moment.
And as if the moment couldn't get anymore perfect for them...
Mark got his toes stepped on once again...
