I just love you
Your nose felt as though it had frozen. Yeah, of course you liked winter and all, but you could hardly claim to be a huge fan of snow.
Stephen was obviously overjoyed, but it was hard to blame him. It was good to see how at ease he was now that he had some free time. No more meetings, no more paperwork and besides some masters from Kamar-taj covered for him.
Maybe he could be home all week, but it was very unlikely. Spirits didn’t take vacations. However, you could only dream.
You went straight into the leaving room and collapsed onto the couch, completely content to curl up by the fire. You didn't even bother to take off any of your outerwear.
Although the weather was perfect for attending the Christmas festival, you might have stayed outside a little bit too long after realizing how stiff your joints are right now. Although he struggled to cast a spell to remove both of your jackets and boots, Stephen seemed to be doing better. You really hoped his hands didn’t start to hurt, that’s the last thing you would want for Stephen right now.
He attempted to tame his hair by running a hand through it, but when he realized that it had little effect, he untied it and let it loose.
"You should wear your hair like this more often." You smiled softly at him as a blush began to appear on his cheeks.
“If you say so” Stephen slightly scratches the back of his neck before snapping his fingers. Two cups of hot tea then appeared on the table.
“Who believed that the sorcerer supreme was so lazy?” Stephen chuckles a little before saying a quiet shut up which made you smile.
The doctor collapsed onto the couch and you nestled up next to him as he did the same.
"Here," he says as he is putting the steaming mug of tea in your hands and steadying it there before reaching for his own.
“Thanks” you say before placing a tender kiss on his cheek.
Both of you take a sip of it and the hot beverage does burn a little bit, but you didn't mind much because it was warm and so sweet.
“Better?” he asks you as Stephen puts both of your drinks back on the table.
"Much better” you smile before placing a kiss on his nose, earning a sigh from the sorcerer.
“What?” As you slowly began to brush your hands through his hair, you questioned.
“I think I deserve more than this.” He stated as he leaned into your touch
“Really?” Uncertain of what he was doing, you saw the man in front of you snap his fingers once more.
Stephen just puts his hands around your waist as he brings you closer to him and says “Look up my love.”
And you did.
A mistletoe was above the both of you and you bring your gaze back to him, seeing the all powerful sorcerer grinning like a foul. It was cute, you couldn’t lie.
You kissed him gently as you leaned in.
Now his lips were firmly pressing against yours. Your arms tighten around him as your heart races. Then, as his kiss became more passionate, your own lips parted to meet his.
Your heart pounded a little as you experienced a sense of dizziness. Your fingers wriggled into his hair as they slid up his neck. Stephen's tongue tore your lips apart as you bent your head and let out another gasp. His tongue raced inside your mouth, and you clinched your fingers while loosening your jaw.
You felt a tingling numbness flood over you as your lips rolled and slid with a vibration. Before he drew you closer to him, your torso puffed forward and your waist rocked back and forth against his hands. He moaned out loud while grabbing your shirt.
Stephen's lips dragged across the corner of your mouth and down to your neck, making the guttural noise once more. In an effort to catch his breath, he buried his face in it.
Fuck, he was sure that he will marry you.
“What?” You asked out of breath. Did he say that out loud?
“Nothing” he responded as he started to trace small circles into your back “I just love you”.
“I love you too.” You carefully lean in and give him a little kiss on the head.
Then Stephen traced his nose down your jaw and rose to meet your eyes, your lips brushing as he spoke “Can you please kiss me again?”
“As many times as you want to, my love.”
