Girl’s Day!
“LOKIIIII!” a scream came floating down from (y/n)’s room, summoning the trickster god to her multicoloured, rainbow door.
“Yes?” they asked, arching a brow.
She threw open her door, grabbed them by the lapels, and pulled them inside. “Wanna paint our nails? I’ve got so much polish and not enough hands. And, i found a green that’s perfect for you.” she ushered them into the room, pointing to the bed.
“Sure, why not?” they settled lightly onto the beanbag underneath her loft bed, that she had splattered with paint and glitter. They watched, vaguely interested as she pulled out the nail polish she’d been looking for, crawling over to Loki and grabbing their right hand.
“Alright. lemme…” she shook and then opened the polish, setting to work painting their nails. When she finished, Loki held up their hands to admire her work.
“Impressive. Now it’s my turn.” with a snap of their fingers, (y/n) was sitting on the beanbag and Loki was sitting at her feet. They picked up a shiny, bright pink polish, and grabbed one of her hands.
“This colour is good?” they asked, glancing up at her.
“Yeah! It’s really pretty.” she settled more comfortably into the chair, presenting her hands. Loki worked their magic and neatly painted her nails,
“There. There, that’s pretty.” Loki said. They pushed some hair behind their ear.
“Hmm.” (y/n) thought for a moment. “Wanna do face masks?” she questioned, noting Loki’s tired eyes. “Or we can watch a movie and take a nap.”
“Mm, movie. I like that better.” they said, and stood up and flopped down in a mess of beanbags, blankets and pillows across the room, turning and throwing their arms open to catch a falling (y/n). She giggled and let out a quiet snort while she snuggled into their side, throwing a blanket on top of them.
“Whatcha wanna watch?”
“Hmmm, let’s watch Mean Girls.”
“Ok! Hey JARVIS, play Mean Girls.”
“Of course, Miss (y/n).”
The tv flickered to life, the pair’s favorite movie beginning to play, them snuggled into each other’s sides.
