[1v1 - Izuku Midoriya VS Neito Monoma]

OOC Midoriya Izuku | Izuku has a Fire Quirk | Monoma gets washed | Power Fantasy

"ALRIGHT! FOR THE FIRST MATCHUP OF THE THIRD ROUND! THESE TWO STUDENTS HAVE BEEN PART OF THE FEW EYE-CATCHERS IN THE ENTIRE FESTIVAL! BUT NOW, THIS MATCHUP WILL DETERMINE WHO'S BETTER THAN THE OTHER! ARE Y'ALL READYYYYYYYY!?" Present Mic announced, as the stadium erupted.

"ON ONE SIDE; ONE OF THE ONLY TWO STUDENTS FROM CLASS 1B TO ADVANCE TO THE COMBAT PORTION OF THE TOURNAMENT! HIS QUIRK MAKES HIM AN ABSOLUTE WILDCARD; FROM CLASS 1B, GIVE IT UP FOR... NEITO MONOMA!!!" Present Mic announced, and the crowd cheered as the 1B blonde made his way onto the arena, wearing a smug grin on his face.

"VERSUS! THIS GUY HAS PROVEN HIMSELF TO BE A POWERHOUSE ALONGSIDE HIS WEB-SLINGING CLASSMATE! FROM CLASS 1C... IT'S IZUKU MIDORIYAAAAA!!!" Present Mic hyped the crowd up as the green-haired pyrokinetic walked onto the arena, wearing an indifferent expression.

"Kick his butt, Papa!" Suddenly he heard a child's voice among the raucous cheers of the crowd, looking around until he spotted a cheering Eri with Rias and his other wives. He chuckled to himself as he gave them a small smile.

"Ah, the General Studies upstart," Neito Monoma said as he stood on his side of the ring, looking at the green-haired pyrokinetic who had his hands in his pockets as he tilted his head in confusion.

"I had hoped to fight Endeavor's favorite son at this point in the festival," he continued, stretching his arms as he spoke. "Alas, you took that chance away from me. So now YOU'LL have to take the beating in his place," the Hero Course student finished arrogantly, making Izuku blink twice.

Neito spoke again, but Izuku already tuned him out as he rolled his eyes. 'Oh, great; another brat with a superiority complex,' he thought, 'Because Bakugo just wasn't enough...'

"Hey!" His thought was halted by Neito, who looked angry for some reason. "Were you even listening!?"

Ah, that's why.

"Let's just get this over with; I got somewhere to be," he responded, sighing in boredom as he just assumed a stance.

'Hook,' Izuku thought to himself as Midnight raised her whip.

And as if Neito wasn't mad already, the Gen Ed upstart's blatant disrespect just enraged him even further. "Oh, I'm going to make you regret not taking me seriously," he seethed as he also took a stance.

'Line,' Izuku thought again.

After a few seconds, Midnight brought her whip down. "Begin!"

At that, Neito rushed towards Izuku with his arms turning rock solid, a telltale sign of him activating one of the Quirks he copied from Class 1A. Somewhere in the stands, a rough voice starts loudly questioning, saying something along the lines of 'When the hell did this guy copy my Quirk!?' followed by profuse apologies.

'Sinker,' Izuku thought, smirking as Neito closed the distance with a fist cocked back.

"Hyaaah!" Neito yelled out, throwing his punch which Izuku avoided. Seeing his opponent evade his punch, the blonde copycat readied his other arm for a wide swing, the fingers acting as a blade. Again Izuku dodged the attack.

Just then, Neito jumped high, his body poised for a right kick. This time, Izuku actually raised his arm to block the attack. Neito smirked. "I win!" He declared, feeling a rush of power from the Quirk he just copied.

To his surprise, Izuku wasn't remotely shocked. In fact, he was grinning. Neito jumped away from his opponent, feeling suspicious. "What are you planning?" He demanded.

Izuku merely hummed, thinking on what to say. He shrugged before responding, "Why don't you try my Quirk?" He smirked deviously.

Neito narrowed his eyes, activating Izuku's Quirk. Fire started blazing from him and growing larger, making him smile wide with triumph.

"Ha! I shouldn't have been worried! Now you're absolutely..." Neito didn't finish what he was saying as the fire slowly turned into a blazing humanoid being that looked like a woman for some reason. The crowd started to murmur in both fear and awe.

"Wh-What is this!?" Neito demanded again, but this time there was a hint of fear in his voice.

Suddenly, the fiery being turned to Neito, making him stiffen in her gaze. Just as the copycat was about to deactivate the Quirk, the being snarled. "Unworthy..." She growled out.

Fumikage's eyes widened in surprise and slight alarm. 'His Quirk is like mine?' He thought, his Quirk rumbling with caution.

"HUH!? IT SPOKE! WHAT THE HELL IS MIDORIYA'S QUIRK!?" Present Mic questioned as Eraserhead looked as Izuku's file. "Apparently, his Quirk has some level of sentience, though it's currently unknown just how sentient it is," the still-recuperating teacher appraised.

"What?" Neito asked the being in confusion, only to be ignored as she slowly disappeared. Panicking, he reactivated the Quirk, but this time it was weaker than earlier.

"What!? Why is your Quirk weaker now!?" Neito raged at his opponent.

"Mine?" Izuku piped up, feigning ignorance at the fact that even a copy of his Quirk loathes Neito. "Don't you mean yours?" He continued, grinning.

Growling, Monoma swing his right arm outward, manifesting a blade made of fire.

"Doesn't matter," Neito snarled out, before running back in.

Izuku dodged the swing, crouching low to sweep Neito off his feet. Seeing this, Neito jumped to avoid the sweep, but then Izuku grabbed his leg and slammed him down to the ground, before kicking him away.

The crowd winced. "OUCH! MONOMA'S GONNA FEEL THAT TOMORROW!" Present Mic said.

Neito blasted jets of fire behind him to keep himself from flying out, but Izuku was already running in. Neito looked up, and shot Izuku with fire blasts. All of which Izuku avoided.

Seeing his opponent coming in closer, Neito covered his fists in fire as he also closed the distance, cocking back a fiery fist. Unfortunately for him, Izuku was much faster.

Neito threw his punch, only for Izuku to block it and smack the hand away. Before the blonde copycat could retaliate, Izuku discombobulated Neito to break his focus and hold on his copied Quirk.

Then he proceeded to humiliate Neito.

A punch to the stomach.

Then an open palm to the sternum.

Then a left-leg roundhouse kick to the face.

Then another punch to the stomach.

Then a combo flurry of jabs and hooks to the face and torso for almost 30 seconds.

Then uppercutting him, grabbing his right leg and then slamming him down to the ground.

The assault was stopped when Neito thrust his hand towards Izuku and blasted him away, making the crowd cheer from the turnaround.

"WHOA! A SUDDEN TURN OF EVENTS; MONOMA MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE NOW!" Present Mic yelled into his, well, mic, as Izuku somersaulted in the air before righting himself mid-air and boosted himself forward a bit, ensuring that he's still in the ring.

A few seconds after he landed, Izuku crouched down low, hands open wide behind him, before boosting himself towards Neito with a fist cocked back behind him.

Seeing what Izuku did, Katsuki abruptly stood up, startling his classmates as his face marred in rage. "Fucking Deku, you jacked my shit!" He yelled, being held back by Rikido and Eijiro as he thrashed around.

Seeing the green-haired pyrokinetic coming in hot, the blonde copycat had no choice but to brace for the attack. The crowd winced collectively when the attack connected with a loud KAPOW!

Pain.

It was all Neito felt the moment Izuku punched him in the stomach HARD. He spat out a mix of blood and saliva as he clutched the arm connected to the fist that was currently embedded in his gut.

Slowly raising his head, he gave his opponent a defiant glare.

He only received a demonic grin in return.

But just as Neito opened his mouth to try and speak...

Flames started surrounding Izuku's fist, making Neito panic as he watched the flames burn brighter. He was too focused on the flames that he missed Izuku's eyes blazing bright and his grin turning into a vicious snarl.

"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Izuku yelled as he willed the flames covering his fist to explode, blasting Neito away from him.

The explosion from Izuku's final attack generated so much smoke that it covered the entire ring. When the smoke cleared, the crowd saw Izuku walking away and ignoring an unconscious Neito slumped against the wall, his face full of bruises, welts and cuts.

"... You know what? I take back what I said; Izuku Midoriya advances to the Finals," Present Mic declared meekly, not even bothering to try and muster up some of the energy he had in the earlier matches as medical bots rolled over to Neito and laid him on a stretcher to take him to Recovery Girl.

The crowd just politely applaused at that, still reeling from the pyrokinetic's performance.

Somewhere in the stands, the General Studies students were pestering Izuku's wives about his Quirk.

=====================

Izuku walked down the corridor in silence, after being checked by Recovery Girl. While she checked him, she chastised him for going overboard in the match.

Suddenly he felt his Quirk rumbling within, reminding him that he needed to have a conversation with it regarding the match.

'You didn't have to show yourself just to call him out right to his face, Araceli,' Izuku chastised his Quirk.

'He was trash,' Araceli snarked back, making Izuku sigh.

'Araceli, even the 1st Year student population already knows that. You didn't need to shred whatever was left of his reputation,' he chuckled.

"Icchan?" His mental conversation with his Quirk was halted by the sound of someone he thought he wouldn't encounter again.

There stood Ochako, a box of mochi in her left hand.

"... Uraraka," Izuku greeted the Hero Course student cordially, noticing her shoulders slightly flinching at his tone.

"H-How have you been? I haven't seen you since the first year at Aldera Middle," Ochako asked him, mentally cursing as he raised an eyebrow at her stutter.

"Good," Izuku responded. "You?"

"Never been better," Ochako answered. 'Baby steps, Ochako. Baby steps,' she thought to herself.

"I heard the family business had a great year," Izuku said. Though he wants nothing to do with her right now, he is still genuinely fond of Satori and Yasumi Uraraka.

The remark made Ochako smile. "Yeah, it's been booming! Still is, actually," She replied, fondly recalling the looks on her parents' faces two years ago when someone named Takuya Kamashiro offered them almost 10,000,000 Yen to build a mansion near the outskirts of Musutafu. Needless to say, the man was so impressed by their construction company's work that he recommended them to his business partners.

'Should I tell her that Takuya Kamashiro was just Lucas' alias?' Izuku thought.

"So..." Ochako rubbed her left arm with her free hand. "W-Who were the women with you?"

"They're my wives. The redhead, Rias Gremory, is the first," Izuku replied.

"Oh," Ochako said, a sad smile on her face. "I met her earlier while I bought mochi. She seems nice," she continued.

"Yeah. She is," Izuku smiled at that. Ochako only hummed at that. On one hand, she wanted to rebuild the friendship she had with him before becoming his partner. On the other hand...

'No. He's already happy. I'm not going to jeopardize that just because I want him back,' Ochako chastised herself.

"Well, it's good seeing you again, Icchan," Ochako said.

"Midoriya," Izuku replied.

"Huh?" Ochako asked.

"Please just call me Midoriya; we're not kids anymore," Izuku clarified.

"O-Oh! Right; it would be weird to be called a cutesy nickname by anyone except your wives." Ochako chuckled nervously.

Izuku waved it off. "See you around, Uraraka," he said, breaking off into a sprint.

Ochako watched him take a turn before walking back to her friends, a somber smile on her face.
