"And there is the student in question, saved by All Might. Izuku Yagi, a first year student at UA High. Kidnapped by the League of Villains, he is now a hostage no more. And there is the police loading the villain All Might defeated into the Iron Maiden and soon onto the awaiting transport truck." A green-haired woman reported from within her helicopter.
Police officers and medics cooperated in tandem with rescuers and Pro Heroes searching through the ruins of damaged buildings. Over the horizon the sun rises, the search and rescue having gone through the night since All Might's devastating battle against a supervillain with multiple quirks. At least, this is how the public saw the battle live on every single TV and monitor in Japan.
In reality, it was a Rescue Operation to locate and save a kidnapped UA student. In the process of the rescue, the League of Villains retaliated and their leader, All For One, had appeared. But like the hero he is, All Might rushed in and fought his arch-nemesis, rescuing his student (AKA his son and successor of One For All) from the villains' grasp. Although Shigaraki and the League got away (or rather forced to retreat by All For One's forced quirk activation skill on Kurogiri), All For One was defeated.
But that left All Might's secret exposed to the country… no, to the world…
Still the people cheered for the world's greatest hero when the battle was over.
"Izuku Yagi…"
The world went quiet when the defeated supervillain spoke aloud.
At the scene, it was a silent hush that permeated everybody.
The villain had woken up.
Izuku pulled away from All Might and Gran Torino and stood in front of the man called All For One.
"Hmhmhmhm… it would seem that you are a strong individual as to survive this ordeal. No wonder Tomura is so interested in you," said All For One.
"I want to be a hero. One that everybody will look up to for support, for safety. The hero who will smile, even in the face of death itself. So that the people I save will know that they have nothing to fear."
"Hm, but All Might is done. His power is now lost, and no one is strong enough to fill his shoes."
"He may be retired now as a Pro Hero, and society may worry about the future." Izuku replied, staring confidently right at All For One's face. "But now… now it's my turn."
Silence from everyone within earshot, from the police officers and medics to the rescuers and Pro Heroes. Silence from his father, who looked at his son with overwhelming pride. Silence from the audience watching this on monitors, jumbotrons and TV screens across Japan. Silence from the news crew still filming live and broadcasting Izuku's words for all to hear. Silence from the League of Villains, watching a TV in one of All For One's safehouses.
Silence from All For One himself.
And then laughter.
Laughter from All For One.
It was hard to determine what emotion the super villain had as he laughed, but he soon calmed down.
He stared back at Izuku, a smile forming on his lips.
"I can't wait to see what you will do, Izuku Yagi."
When All For One stopped talking, the police chief ordered him be shoved into transport once he was sealed in the Iron Maiden device, and taken away.
Izuku turned back to All Might, who started coughing again. "Didn't Mom tell you to stop overdoing it, Dad?" He grinned weakly.
Once again, silence fell over everyone, from people watching in front of a screen, to the ones who are on site. With one thought running through their minds.
'He's All Might's SON?'
(Meanwhile, a certain icy-hot student started jumping and screaming in joy when Izuku confirmed his "DadMight theory," making his friends concerned.)
Toshinori Yagi laughed a bit, as a bit of blood dripped from his mouth. "Yeah, she's gonna send me to the doghouse, alright. I'm just glad you weren't hurt too much, son."
"Come on, Dad, I tend to break myself on an almost daily basis. Getting slapped across the face by a stab-happy villainess isn't gonna do that much damage."
Both father and son laugh a bit. Gran Torino and Detective Tsukauchi watch on with mirth.
Then a hollow female voice called out.
"Toshinori Yagi."
The gaunt hero stilled, slowly turning around to see a very angry wife standing near Gran Torino, who started snickering.
"I- Honey- " Toshinori sputtered, his mouth opening and closing repeatedly.
Anger took over Inko Yagi's features as she walked towards Toshinori and pulled on his right ear. "YOU FUCKING ASSHAT! I TOLD YOU NOT TO KEEP OVERDOING THIS SHIT! ARE YOU ACTUALLY TRYING TO DIE?! WHY, I OUGHTA--" She yelled at her husband as she continued pulling his ear. All the men in the area winced, feeling sympathetic over the hero's plight as she scolded him. Meanwhile, the reporter in the news helicopter tried not to laugh.
'Never change, Big Sis. Never change.'
"IZUKU!"
Izuku turned sharply, looking for the source of the voice. His eyes widened in shock when he saw a bespectacled blonde girl running to him.
'Melissa?'
"IZUKU!" she screams.
"MELISSA!"
Izuku ran to her and both embraced. He held her tightly, spinning her around as she immediately started crying. He held her tightly, comforting her.
"Shh. It's okay. It's okay, Melissa. I'm okay…"
She cries into his chest. "I was so worried… I thought I was going to lose you... I couldn't… I couldn't stay home. I… I had to see you…"
The boy smiled gently. "All Might saved me, love. All Might. Gran Torino. All the heroes here saved me. The police saved me."
He gently grabs her face and has her look up to him.
"Look around, Melissa. Everyone risked their lives to save my life. All these brave people risked their lives for me. Because of them, I get to go home. I get to wake up to see the next day. I get to see my mom, to tell her everyday that I love her very much. I get to see everyone again. And I also made a promise to myself, Melissa. The moment I was saved, I would go and look for you… so that I can give you something special when we see each other again."
"What… what would that be?" Melissa whispers, gazing into his emerald green eyes, as he stared back into her dazzling blue eyes.
Izuku cups her chin, tilting her head up just slightly as he starts bending down.
"How about I show you?"
With that, he closed his eyes as he locked his lips with hers, sharing a loving first kiss with the love of his life. At first Melissa was caught off-guard by his boldness, but as his hands move and encompass around her waist, she closed her eyes and deepens the kiss, sliding her arms around his neck, entwining her own fingers together.
The kiss seen around Japan, live broadcast for all.
In the dorms over at UA High, the students of Class 1-A and Class 1-B, and friends of Izuku from other courses like Mei Hatsume and Hitoshi Shinso were wide-eyed in stunned awe, with a few being openly very happy seeing such a thing happen.
Somewhere on I-Island, a recuperating David Shield was both elated and furious: elated that his daughter was in love with All Might's son; furious that he had the unmitigated gall to "take his daughter's innocence".
Toshinori was quite surprised to see his son being so bold to kiss the girl who was basically his niece, with everyone to see this very public display of affection. Inko silently watched with a small smile, but the sole thought running through her mind can be summed up in a single thought: 'GRANDBABIES! WE'RE HAVING GRANDBABIES!'
Gran Torino was just smirking, shaking his head mirthfully at the teenagers' boldness.
The audience's applause was small at first, then it grew. Cheers quickly followed. All across Japan, every single citizen that has seen the kiss all cheered and applauded, and the entire social media blew up over what they were witnessing. True Love supporters had a field day for weeks after this day, while Izuku's naysayers were more than jealous of him scoring a nerdy bombshell, especially a bombastic Pomeranian and a former UA High student, also known as Class 1A's now-expelled grapist.
Even the Pro Heroes and the police applauded, as some cheered for 'true love's kiss'. But as quick as they were to celebrate their declared love, the heroes, the rescuers, and police all quickly returned to work to help locate any survivors from the wreckage of the debris that was the battlefield left behind by All For One and All Might.
"Well, at least there's a happy ending in the end of the devastating battle that took place here in Kamino, Yokohama. This is Inoue Midoriya, NHK News. Back to you at the studio." The reporter concluded, secretly feeling giddy at the sight of her nephew and his girlfriend finally making their relationship official.
"And we're clear," the camera operator informs the news anchor. The news crew packed up while the camera operator continued to record more stock footage of the rescue operation for the night news edition.
Gran Torino coughed into his hand. "Before we take 'em home, we need paramedics to check over Izuku to ensure his overall health and check for any wound he might've gotten while in captivity. Then we'll go to a pharmacy so these lovestruck horndogs can buy some condoms and birth control," the old man said.
"GRAMPS!" Izuku cried out, scandalized.
On the other hand, Melissa had steam coming out of her ears as she hid her now bright red face and started turning into her "Starfire" mode.
Toshinori and Gran Torino both laughed out loud as they watched Izuku calm Melissa down, while Inko mentally started putting together her "Family Planning Lecture" with her son and future daughter-in-law.
