The sun began shining through the curtains of Wades room much to Peters distaste. “Mm babe.. close the curtains.” His voice was gravely and mumbled due to him just waking up and his face being pushed up against wades chest.
Pool drew the curtains and covered Spidey up more and kissed his head. “That good webs?”
“Mhm thank you.” He tilted his head up to plant a on kiss wades scarred jaw. “..love you Wade.” His words slipped out barely a whisper but audible enough for Wade to hear it. Wade felt like the air had been knocked out his lungs in the best way possible. He thought to himself if he was going to die let it be now, at this moment. He couldn’t believe his ears, was he hallucinating? How could this be?
“What’d you say..?” His voice came out weaker than intended.
“I love you Wade Winston Wilson. I love your dramatic facial expressions. I love your violent nature. I love your stupid jokes. I love your taste in food. I love your face. I love everything about you Wade.” Peter looked up at them through his lashes, enthusiastically waiting for a reply.
“I..webs.. fuck. I love you too. I love you so much webs oh my god.” For the first time Wade was actually speechless. He was at a loss for words even though there was so many he wanted to say. Instead of saying anything after than he just brought Peter in for a passionate (and gross tasting) kiss.
Peter kissed him back as soon as their lips met. He knew he loved Wade way before he even told him he liked him but for some reason he didn’t know if Wade loved him or not so hearing the words “I love you too” from him… it almost made his heart stop.
They spent the rest of the day together, repeating the simple phrase. Over and over again.
