Tony Stark was a complicated man, anyone could tell you that. He did the most outrageous things sometimes, but he saw the world in a different view. He was genius, he had the right to be a little quirky.
He had gone through horrible things no one should have to go through, and he survived.
He survived and came out of it as a changed man
He took the worst possible situation and made something incredibly spectacular out of it.
And yet he was just a man.
He wasn't a god or a super spy, he wasn't a mutated human or super soldier
He was just a man who built something incredible and decided to use it for good
Sometimes, Steve could barely comprehend how the man could face each day with everything he'd been through.
He was one of the strongest people Steve had ever had the pleasure of being acquainted with.

He was just happy he had finally opened his eyes to see it.
