His phone rang on and on. No answer. Tony put his phone down and put on his coat and scarf along with sweatpants and some random boots he was sure were Stephens due to the size difference.

Tony hasn’t seen Stephen in five days with no phone calls or texts. Of course, he was a grown man that could take care of themself but they always texted Tony to assure his safety.

Tony got a notification, he peeked over to his phone and read the message that, from the looks of it, was from Peter.

[Hi, Mr. Stark! I know it’s pretty late right now but I’ve been having some school troubles and I was wondering if you could help me out. If not it’s cool anyways goodnight sir!] • 9:43pm

Tony picked up his phone and began to type.

[I’ll be there in 20 kid. Have to find the wizard first.] • 9:44pm

Tony slid his phone into his coat pocket and walked out.

**

The chilly air of an autumn night was expected but not full on snow. The crunch of Tonys steps was the only thing currently distracting him from the fact that he didn’t know where he was going. He was silently hoping to just bump into the doctor he missed so much.

Loud footsteps suddenly appeared behind him. Not wanting to deal with anyone at the moment, Tony sped up. The footsteps from behind sped up as well, confirming Tony's suspicion about the mysterious person behind him purposely following him.

Tony turned a corner and stood flat against the wall, he peeked over the corner to see who the person following him was. No one in sight.

‘What the..’ Tony raised an eyebrow but tried not to think of it too much, as he turned to continue walking he bumped into whoever he assumed to be the person following him. He looked up while activating a gloved hand, it was Strange.

He let his arm fall to his side, deactivating his hand. “Stephen?” Stephen stared at him with dearth eyes almost lifeless. Stephen's trembling hand reached Tony's cold cheek. “Tony.”

“Are you insane? Where have you been?” Stephen didn’t answer and simply shook his head.

“What?-“ Tony was cut off by Stephen's sudden aggression towards him. They grabbed Tony and opened a portal, he stepped through and threw Tony to the ground.

The portal closed behind them whilst Tony tried making sense of what happened. He was back in their home, in the middle of the living room.

Tony got himself up and stared at Stephen with wide eyes. “Okay, you’ve officially lost it.” Stephen began to mumble to himself, he closed his eyes.

“Strange, what is going on?!” Tony stepped closer to Stephen.

“QUIET, TONY. THEY COULD BE LISTENING.” Stephen panicked and started some spell that Tony wasn’t familiar with.

“You’re FREAKING ME OUT.” Stephen finished their spell and cast it by reducing the large amount of lights into a single tip of his finger which he pressed against his forehead.

“I have a huge headache and and.. I’m sorry but I believe some creatures from the dimension I was in followed me here. They’re extremely dangerous and who knows what could happen if I make a wrong move or-” As Stephen panicked his trembling hands shook more as each word slipped out, Tony couldn’t bear to see him so vulnerable so.. Terrified it wasn’t like Stephen to panic like this. They’ve known each other for 2 years now, married 1 year ago and moved in with each other 5 months ago and never has Tony seen Stephen so worked up.

“Stephen, listen to me. Maybe it’s just that time of month again, I’ll make you a cup of tea. Just go lay down and I’ll be right there.” Tony turned around but Stephen quickly flipped him back around.

“You’re not listening to me, this is serious.” Stephen's grip tightened around Tony's shoulders, which he ripped off of him.

“You need to calm down, Strange. Seriously, go lie down.” Tony stepped away from strange almost hesitantly into the kitchen where he left some water to boil.

He walked back into the living room and saw Stephens cloak enter their room which was a relief. He walked in and helped Stephen get into bed, tucking him in.

“I’m not a toddler, Tony.”

“Well, you’re sure acting like one.” Stephen frowned and looked to his side. “I’m sorry but you can’t just disappear like that with no text or anything.”

“I know I’m sorry. I was busy with those demons and everythings. I’ll text you next time”

“Character development.” Tony took his phone out once again and noticed Peter texted him 30 minutes ago asking when he’d get there. As Tony was going to answer to Peter, he heard a fire like crackle behind him, he turned around and Stephen stood behind him with a lasso he summoned, his eyes once again dearth and lifeless. “Come on, I just tucked you in.” Tony said in a low voice trying to lighten the mood.

Suddenly, Tony was tied up, he struggled and managed to get his iron man suit to deploy. He escaped the rope and the armor was gone since he wasn’t planning on hurting Stephen.

“Okay! Darling, I need you to calm down.” Tony said as he walked backwards and spoke in a loud voice since Stephen was getting way too close while conjuring up shields.

“What’s the matter?! I’m sorry for tucking you in? I’m sorry for uhm not listening to you??” Stephen threw something at him, he wasn’t too sure what it was since everything happened so fast. He landed against a wall and sighed.

“Not in the house, c’mon Steph.” He shut up and ducked once Stephen threw something else at him, in an attempt to maybe escape for now Tony ducked under his arm but Stephen grabbed his legs and must’ve casted some sort of spell on him because suddenly he was paralyzed and couldn’t move. He swallowed hard and stared at Stephen upside down. He tried speaking but it was almost impossible, He was dragged onto his bed where Stephen crawled on top of him. Despite him being unable to move he could feel everything Stephen did to him. The forced kisses and especially when Stephen began caressing him.

Their relationship was purely romantic at this point, they haven’t made any sexual advances toward each other in any way since they have been respecting each others boundaries and chose to take things slow but now that Stephenn was suddenly assaulting him for no apparent reason after freaking out over demons and disappearing for five days, Tony couldn’t help but cry at the abuse. After the intense pain and forced actions of Strange, they fell asleep next to Tony. Tony couldn’t move yet, until he was free and he took a deep breath trying to process exactly what just happened, he fell to his side, accidently falling off the bed. He gained a bruise on his forehead from hitting the nightstand, just more to the 20 bruises and wounds in general Strange left him with. He heard the kettle and a ringing from his phone, he quickly snatched his phone from the nightstand above him making sure Stephen didn’t hear and saw Peter's worried texts and missed call.

[That means 20 minutes right?] • 9:44pm

[Oh yeah see ya!] • 9:46pm

[Mr, Stark no rush or anything but it’s been 30 minutes!] • 10:06pm

[I mean I totally understand you’re a busy man but could just cancel, sir. It's alright.] • 10:07pm

Missed call

[Are you alright? You’ve never left me on read, sir. Or am I overthinking this?] • 10:10pm
[I should really go to sleep but I just want to make sure you’re okay since it’s been a lil while, sir.] • 11:34pm

Tony began to type.

[Sorr, Peter something came up. Maybe tomor.] • 11:36pm

Not even trying with his spelling, he sent the message and laid there staring at the ceiling as he let go of his phone, he felt weak, pathetic. The familiar cloak that had fled the scene was by his side and used itself as a blanket, to which Tony whispered a small thank you too.
