Tony didn't exactly expect for things to go well when he snapped his fingers on that battlefield but he at least expected his past work to be unaffected. More fool him.Stephen? I got annoyed in a different fic with how many people had to be updated for the time travel thing to show immediate benefits so I limited who could be tossed back in time and started a second one.... I failed to keep the number of in the know people down but started having fun with building things together and now I have like 16k words. This is in fact a parallel universe where Time decided to only move two people - Tony and Stephen - back to a different point/time. Jarvis and Friday kept to themselves the way that Tao basically pranked Rhodey with legally informing him about the Mystic Order. Even if they did go out of their way to quietly inform SI legal that certain magic things fell under various already existing NDAs and only Tony or Stephen could legally answer about them because of special status/permissions. The office outcry of aggravation from both SI legal and SI PR was amusing but the AIs placated them with pizza, coffee, ice cream, and chinese take out. Then the pair dropped the bombshell that Tony wasn't dying anymore. The complete stillness that settled over the workers as they worked through that tid bit and went over the cell phone footage posted by random people from the Stark Expo was interesting. In the end Jarvis and Friday had to explain that having a Mastery in the Mystic Arts was a magical equivalent of holding a Doctorate in magic from a certified institution. The chaos was glorious.
