Clint frowned, realizing that Kate should have found her mother by now. Especially considering that there shouldn´t have been any complications. He let out a sigh. If she got into any trouble, he would personally kill her. God, his whole body was aching… Yelena was fucking strong. Grumbling, he stood up, and walked into the direction he knew Kate was in.

Kate groaned from where she was on the floor. Looking down at herself, she saw red- ah. Right. Kingpin stabbed her. 0/10, she wouldn´t recommend it. Looking up, she noticed she was sitting against the wall- not so much the floor, it seemed- and Kingpin was already away. Which, understandable, but ow.
Weakly, she ripped a piece of her suit off, before pushing it against the wound. She let out a groan, her head falling limply to the side, as the pain kicked in. Dark spots were dancing around her vision, and she let her head fall against the wall.
This hurt like a bitch.
Wait. Where was her mother?
Looking outside the shop, Kate saw her mother laying limply on the floor, a hole in her stomach, almost like with Kate.
Ignoring the pain, Kate crawled over to Eleanor. She grimaced, before taking the ball of her suit, taking it away from her stab wound, and pressing it against her mothers. “Mom? Mom, open your eyes! Please…” She weakly begged, but of course her mother didn´t answer. Tears were starting to flow down Kate´s cheeks, her trembling hands pushing down more.
Kate felt her body slowly grow numb which- that was a bad sign, right? She thinks so, at least. She felt herself tip to the side, and no matter how much she tried to stay upright, gravity won, and her hands fell from her mother's stab wound.
She could swear someone was screaming her name.

Clint felt his heart leave his body, seeing Kate so motionless laying there, a puddle of red below her. “Kate!” he screamed as he limped over to her. “Kate- Kate, look at me” he begged, pulling her head into his lap. She let out a groan, her glassy eyes focusing slightly. “Yea, just like that, peanut” The nickname fell off his tounge easily. “Cl´nt..?” she weakly asked, and Clint hastily nodded. “Yea, it´s me, it´s me” he gently whispered, and Kate hummed. “Ele´nor?” she whispered, and Clint looked over to the woman, only now having noticed her.
She looked far better than Kate.
Clint wanted to kill her for it.
“She´s alright” he gently assured her, and Kate gave a small smile.
In the distance Clint could hear the ambulance.
“That´s- great…I´ll sleep…f´r little…” Kate croaked out, her eyes fluttering close, and Clint had a heart attack. “Eyes open kiddo, eyes open” he demanded, patting her cheek. “Thanks f´r… p´tting up with… me…” Kate whispered, her eyes closing just as the ambulance arrived.
And as Clint watched the ambulance leave, he couldn´t help but feel like he lost a daughter.
