The Origins

"Say, Fox, would it be possible for you all to train the other students?" Yagi asks. "Directly or indirectly?"

"That is something that you'll have to talk to the Boss about. I don't handle logistical stuff." Fox says when the door to the room is broken down. Quite literally.

"YAAAAAAAAAGGIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!" A voice shouts as Yagi gets tackled by a green-black blur.

"OOMPPH!!!" Yagi says as he sinks into the couch he was on.

"Ms. Brant!" Fox says, getting up.

"At ease Fox." The woman says as she gets up. "Nice to finally meet you, Nezu or should I say ChimeraGod42?"

"It's nice to meet you too ThunderCracker77." Nezu greets, hopping onto his desk to shake hands with the woman.

"So how does it feel to be second in the world in 4D chess?" Abigail says.

"Why don't we decide the rankings right now? Assuming you are up for it?" Nezu says.

"Always! Bue I've always wanted to try 8D chess." Abigail suggests. "Izuku is only so good with 4D and I wouldn't want to trouble him with new rules."

"Works with me, I've been meaning to test the game with someone, but most people give up after listening to the rules." Nezu says, chuckling as he pulls a board game out of almost nothing.

"So, I've been hearing your conversation through mics in Fox's suit." Abigail explains as she takes a seat opposite Nezu, helping him set up the game. "And I agree with him on the security aspect. I was able to wrap into the compound with ease, and I didn't even trip the security once I walked through the entire campus. I'll send some tech people, have your techies talk to them and let them decide on what needs to be done."

"Done, let me know when they're coming, I'll free up Power Loaders timetable for that day." Nezu says as the two-start playing, with Yagi, Fox and Aizawa trying to understand what was going on.

"And I can spare 2 or 3 veterans, ones that specialize in training recruits here for a week or two. They'll go over the basics, for the students and you heroes." Abigail says, killing one of Nezu's chess pieces. "And before you ask, that time will be enough for the people I have in mind. Fox, have Bull and Bat returned from their recent mission?"

"Yes ma'am but Bull and Bat will kill these kids, I've seen them. Most of them will crack on day 1 if those two take the training." Fox tries to argue.

"They'll be fine. Look at Izuku and the others. They're just perfect, aren't they?" Abigail says, groaning as Nezu kills one of her chess pieces.

"Why am I even arguing when you have your mind set on that." Fox sighs.

"All this being said, Izuku and the others will be more like visitors starting next week. There are a few missions that they'll be needed on." Abigail tells them.

"I already told them about that but I guess they'll need a bit more explanation." Fox explains.

"Missions?" Aizawa asks.

"With All For One and the other major villain groups making a move soon, we've decided to take pre-emptive measures, attack them and bring them down from within. Izuku and the other 3 will be going on a mission next week for something related to that."

"I can never get complete details from you can I?" Aizawa sighs. Nezu makes a weird squeaking noise as he narrowly saves himself from a check.

"Close one. And no, we can send you a mission report, that's the best we can do. Telling non-SWORD members mission details is against policy and leads to death." Abigail answers, moving her king out of the way of Nezu's pawn.

"Hmmmm..." Nezu stares at the board. "I'll allow it. But I have a condition. Drat!" Nezu exclaims, realising he made a mistake.

"HA! I win!! What's the condition?" Abigail asks.

"I will excuse their participation in the sports festival on the condition that they give a special demonstration for the sports festival since their participation will end up in them winning it." Nezu says.

"I'll tell them about it. And I'll ask them to go all out too. Just to show the world what SWORD agents are capable of. I'll also send some of my other agents, because no offence, your heroes will be easy prey for them if they're going all out." Abigail says. "Besides, this'll help our cause too."

The next day, Peak.

Izuku stirred awake, the smell of iodoform filling his nose as he slowly opened his eyes, letting them get used to the white light of the room.

"Major Izuku! Please keep lying down. I'll call the doctor." Izuku hears a faint voice followed by the opening and closing of a door.

"That beast did quite a number huh..." Izuku thinks to himself as he tries to look for a clock around him. The door opens once again, this time a man wearing a white coat came in followed by a man in typical SWORD gear.

"Major Izuku, welcome back to the world of the living." The doctor says, greeting Izuku.

"Hey Doc. What's the damage?" Izuku asks. "Aside from the arm and the stomach wound."

"3 broken ribs and we estimate a loss of 3 months from your lifespan." The doctor explains.

"That much huh... Oh well, it couldn't be avoided. Besides, in 2 years, everything will change for the better, then there won't be much need for me, so it's alright." Izuku sighs. "I'm assuming Fox ordered for a prosthetic arm?"

"Yes sir, the arm is ready for you to test. We'll do some basic tests on you and then Private Nakamura here will take you to the testing facility."

"Good. So, when do we do the tests?" Izuku asks.

"We'll have to wait till after lunch." Private Nakamura answers.

Izuku rolls his eyes in annoyance. "Alright." He sighs. "What about the rest of them? How are they?"

"Major Tokoyami and Major Kaminari seem alright, but Major Uraraka hasn't slept since you all came back." Izuku sighs once again.

"Send her here. There are a few hours before lunch, right?" Izuku asks.

"Yes sir. I'll ask Striker to let her know." Nakamura says as he walks out of the room, giving Izuku and the doctor some privacy.

"What has she been doing this whole time?" Izuku asks.

"Tossing and turning in bed, drinking water, going to the washroom, skipping meals, training too hard at the gym and at the arena with her powers. Thankfully, she's stayed under her limit. She also sent 5 of her sparring partners to the infirmary in a matter of 30 minutes." The doctor explains.

"Typical Ochako. But she's probably taking it easy during the sparring." Izuku sighs. "Get me an IV drip for her, I'll get her to sleep for some time once she comes back."

"I'll make the arrangements." The doctor says, leaving Izuku along with his thoughts.

'It's been long since I came here huh.' Izuku thinks to himself. 'If I remember correctly, outside of experiments related reasons, I've only come here maybe twice. The first one was my first time here and then after the 20v100 battle our trainers had organised.'

Flashback.

It's been 2 years since Inko signed that agreement was signed. 2 years since Izuku abruptly left Aldera and started his new life at Peak and 2 years since Inko left her small house and moved to an individual house in Tokyo, confusing the hell out of the Bakugou's.

And 2 years since Inko had slowly cut off contact with Mitsuki and it wasn't because of what Izuku told her at Peak, it was because once Izuku left for Peak, Inko never needed to call Mitsuki to ask her what happened at school with Izuku or ask Mitsuki to pick Izuku up. It was only after Izuku left that the two realised that aside from their kid's schools they never actually even spent time with each other. Mitsuki had the boutique that she ran and Inko with the jobs that she worked.

Speaking of jobs, after moving to Tokyo, Inko got an offer to work as an employee at one of SWORD's civilian sites as a receptionist. She knew the place was actually a front for the work that SWORD did, a site where agents could teleport to instantly without attracting too much attention allowing them to work in relative peace.

Izuku spent 100 weeks at Peak, training, studying and learning all that he could. He knew that if the experiments were successful, he'd be no less than a pro, but his body needed to be receptive to the drugs and serums he would be given, which meant his body had to be in top shape at all times.

In these 100 weeks, Izuku had been taught the basics of Muay Thai and Wing Chun, learning gymnastics and parkour. After the first few weeks of training, he had come to not question the orders given to him, he knew it was a bad thing, but at least for now, every task given to him was for his own improvement. He could always question the authorities once things started to get a bit more 'morally confusing'. But right now, it was taking his trainer's orders at face value and following through.

Though it did take him 5 whole weeks to get used to the new surroundings, the first week went in getting a good night's sleep in the beddings given to him, then it was getting used to the food and water, because up in space, all food was rationed and in the form of ready to eat meals, the only times food was freshly prepared was Sundays when all the staff got together and made meals together. After the food, it was getting used to his training schedule which took him the longest.

But once he got used to it, it almost became second nature to him, and for some reason, it surprised most of the senior agents. It was normal for new recruits to take time and they had expected someone like Izuku, an 8-year-old kid at the time to take more than just over a month to get used to the way they did things.

They were even more surprised when his body got used to the initial new recruits' training of basic body strengthening exercises and his trainer had to change his exercise pattern to make it more intensive.

His trainer, Fox, was assigned to him the day he was scouted by SWORD.

Izuku was sitting in one of his classes on the History of SWORD, listening to the agent drone on and on about SWORD sitting in a class with 19 other students. They were all Izuku's age and outside of class, he didn't interact a lot with them.

While the group was pushed to interact with each other, Izuku stayed away from most people with only a few managing to even make him talk. And he did this not because he didn't want friends but because he was scared.

He was scared that no one would want to befriend him because of his apparent lack of a quirk, not that it mattered to the people at SWORD who had a strict 'no bullshit' policy against quirkist behaviour. He knew that but that didn't stop people from having their own opinions.

Izuku was lost in thought as the teacher droned when he felt something about to grab his shoulder and immediately reacted by grabbing and performing an over the shoulder toss out of reflex before realising that he had done so to a class mate.

"Izuku, what the hell! You'll hurt him. Release Denki now." The teacher scolded Izuku, ensuring that Izuku left the boy before turning back to the board.

"Shit! Sorry about that." Izuku whispers an apology to the boy.

"I-I-It's okay." The boy answered, shaking his hand to try and get rid of the pain. "You looked lost and zoned out, so I thought I'd get you back to the class."

"Ahh. Thanks for that." Izuku answered.

"I'm Denki Kaminari by the way."

"Izuku. Izuku Midoriya."

"So, you got a quirk?" Kaminari asks causing Izuku to freeze up. Kaminari notices this and continues. "I'm quirkless by the way if that's any condolence. So, tell me, you got a quirk?"

"No."

"AYEEEE!!!! Then you're like my brother from another mother!!!!" Kaminari quietly exclaims.

"Denki it would be wise if you focused in class. While SWORD does promote brotherhood among agents, you do that outside class." The teacher scolds.

"Sorry sir!" Denki apologises.

"I don't need your sorry, show me results and I'll be happy." The teacher says before continuing the class.

"Hey, Izuku. Some of us were planning on sitting together at lunch if we got the place, wanna join?" Denki whispers.

"Uhm.... Sure, I guess." Izuku answers before turning his attention to the notes in front of him.

Later that day, during lunch, Izuku thanked the canteen lady for his 'ready to eat' meal before making his way through the crowded cafeteria, trying to find an empty spot.

"Midoriya! Over here!!!" A voice shouts, garnering Izuku's attention. Izuku turns to see Kaminari sitting with a few others on a table. Izuku smiles a bit before making his way to the table.

"Guys this is Izuku Midoriya, you might remember him from class." Kaminari says introducing him to the group.

"Oh, the teacher's pet! Nice of you to join us." A blue-haired boy snickers.

"Oii Seth cut it out." A pink-haired girl shouts at the boy. "Why don't you take a seat Midoriya, and ignore Seth, he's just jealous."

Izuku sits down in an empty spot between Denki and a brown-haired girl.

"I'm Sabrina by the way. Sabrina Maximoff." The pink-haired girl introduces herself. "This idiot here is Seth Kang; you already know Denki. The girl next to you is Ochako Uraraka, she doesn't speak much and the boy with black hair over there is Fumikage Tokoyami."

"Nice to meet all of you." Izuku greets them. "How has training been for you all?"

"They're great, I've just started with Krav Maga." Kaminari answers.

"OH, Krav Maga is fourth or fifth on the list that Fox gave me." Izuku answers.

"Your trainer is Fox. As in THE Fox that single-handedly defeated a whole battalion of soldiers during the Quirk Supremist riots in London?" Tokoyami asks.

"I don't know of any other Fox here, so I guess yes..." Izuku answers unsurely.

"Damn. He's pretty much a living legend if you were to believe the other agents." Tokoyami exclaims.

"The studies are killing me man." Denki whines.

"It's all in the mind dude." Tokoyami tells him.

"That is true. The mindset you have is an important tool for us." Izuku adds. "If you think you won't be able to go through with the tasks, then you won't be able to do it. At least that is what Ms. Abigail told me."

"You mean the Director?" Seth asks.

"Yeah, why?" Izuku asks.

"Well, I've heard that she doesn't really show up to talk to new recruits and all." Sabrina says.

"What do you mean, I met her the first time my dad and I came here." Kaminari says.

"Same here. When I was brought to Peak so my parents to understand why and where I was being recruited, I also met Ms. Abigail." Tokoyami says.

"Same here." Ochako says, shocking everyone.

"YOU CAN SPEAK!" They exclaim in shock, while Izuku looked at them in amusement.

"I can, you just assumed that I couldn't." Ochako says shrugging.

"Wait what the heck!! How come we didn't get to meet Ms. Abigail?" Sabrina whines.

"You wouldn't want to meet the boss-lady, Saber." A female voice says from behind them. "Besides, they met her because they're essentially here as decorated lab rats."

"H-Hey Ms. Bat." Sabrina greets the woman.

"Bat leave them alone." Another voice, this time a male one orders. "You know what Boss-lady can do if we disobey her orders."

"Hello, Mr. Dog!" Seth greets his trainer.

"Is the damn Dog scared of some lab rats?" Bat teases.

"They might be lab rats but they're still agents of SWORD." A third voice booms, as footsteps are heard coming towards them.

"Great!!!!" Bat sighs. "The lab rat babysitters are here!"

"What your tone Bat!" A female voice shouts.

"Calm down Panda."

"Fox!!!" Izuku says getting up to hug the man, only to be stopped by the man showing his hand to him. "Right, sorry." Izuku says realising they're in public.

"Hey Panda." Ochako greets the lady with a wave, getting a nod in response.

"Yo! Denki. We're starting training today so eat well!" Another agent wearing a tiger mask says.

"Sure thing Mr. Tiger." Kaminari says giving the man finger guns.

"Bull." Tokoyami greets the bulky man who was his trainer.

"Fumikage." The bulky man greets back.

"Bat, Dog, stop bothering them. I know your qualms against the Project but that doesn't mean you can sabotage it." Fox warns the two.

"Don't look at me, she started it and I was trying to descale it!!!" Dog exclaims.

"I don't care who started and who was trying to descale it, I'm ending it." Fox orders. "Get back to your tables."

"What if I don't?" Bat asks. "What are you going to do about that?"

"SWORD doesn't allow agents to fight each other. That's rule number 1. Or have you forgotten that?" Bull says.

"I never said we should fight." Bat clarifies. "Tomorrow, training arena. Your lab rats against our regular recruits? How does that sound?" Bat asks.

"Isn't that a bit unfair Bat? There are only 20 of them while we have over 100 recruits." Dog tries to intervene.

"Why? You scared? Besides, don't your lab rats have more training than the others?" Bat taunts them.

"I agree, they do have a little more training than the other recruits... It should be fine, but if you lose in the 20 vs 100 battle, you, Dog and the rest of the trainers assigned to the new regular recruits are on D rank missions and clean up." Fox says.

"Alright, agreed. But if we win, the lab rats need to follow our orders for the rest of their stay here. Seems fair enough, doesn't it?" Bat counters.

"Does seem fair." Fox says. "Izuku, Denki, Ochako and Fumikage follow us. Panda, Bull get the rest of our recruits."

"Saber, Seth, get up we're out of here. Dog get the rest of the trainers to call their recruits and meet us in the Language classroom." Bat says walking away. The students sigh as they get up with their trays and follow their trainers.

The next day, almost all agents assembled to see the massive 20 versus 100 as Bat had been going around and telling people about it most of the previous day.

Word travelled fast as over 5000 agents sat in the viewing stands with a few, including the Boss-lady, Abigail, watching the event via the live feed.

"Alright, looks like it's time." Izuku says as he gets up, being closely followed by the rest of the quote-unquote lab rats. "You guys remember the plan, right?"

"Kick some ass and look cool while doing it." Kaminari shouts.

"No Denki." Tokoyami says, smacking the boy lightly over his head. "The other one."

"Oh. You mean, not to use the pressure points and the lethal moves we were taught a few classes ago?"

"No." Fumi says.

"He means to make our moves discreet and take out multiple targets at once." A raspy voice says. They all turn around to see a boy with blue hair and pale skin sitting behind them.

"It's Tenko right?" Izuku asks, turning to the boy that answered the question. Getting a nod from him. "Izuku Midoriya. And I actually meant the whole grouping into teams of 4 and fight plan but thanks for reminding us of the actual goal that we have to achieve."

"So, we partner up?" Denki asks.

"Yep. Pick your partners, decide where you want to go. The arena will be randomised as always so be careful and only trust each other for this exercise." Izuku says as the group nods, splitting off into teams of four. Denki and Tokoyami stayed next to Izuku, wanting to team up with him.

While most others had made their own teams, Ochako was left behind, prompting Izuku to ask her to join his team of 3. Everyone turned back to Izuku, standing with their teams in front of the 5 different entrances on their side of the arena.

"Alright then everyone, time to show everyone what us lab rats can do!" Izuku says, getting a cheer from almost everyone. Everyone had their game faces on, dashing headfirst into the arena.

The small group of 20 'lab rats' managed to quickly thin down the group of 100 to 30 in a matter of 15 minutes, suffering a loss of only 5 members.

Izuku was able to take out 25 other new recruits, leaving them with either a broken hand or a minor concussion. He stuck to his kicks since he believed they were stronger than his punches and the results... let's just say that he had shocked a lot of the other agents that weren't familiar with his progress as a trainee. The rest were able to work together to take the rest out but had to work together to do so.

Izuku finally came face to face with Seth. "Time for you to face your worst nightmare, ya damn lab rat!!!" Seth shouts as he jumps at Izuku, rearing his right hand back as he went for an overhand punch aimed right at Izuku's face. Izuku lets the punch hit his cheek, moving his head back with the punch while countering with a straight aimed at Seth's face.

Seth performs a backflip to reduce the force of the punch, landing on his feet and charging with a telegraphed overhand. Izuku notices the overhand and telegraphs his counter as a straight.

The two go in for their telegraphed attacks with Seth ducking under Izuku's straight and trying to grab Izuku in a triangle choke, using his momentum to push Izuku down, but Izuku takes a single step back, using his back foot to push back as he grabs Seth by his waist and reverses the choke as he slams Seth onto the ground.

"Give up." Izuku says as he tightens his grip on the boy when suddenly Sabrina jumps the two boys, mounting them as she starts to hit Izuku from on top of Seth. Izuku's hands and legs were occupied with holding Seth down, forcing him to be a sitting duck as Sabrina rained punches down on him.

"Sorry Midoriya. Nothing personal." Sabrina says as she punches Izuku's nose, breaking it.

"Same goes for you." Izuku says in a weird nasally voice as Ochako comes in with a flying double side kick, getting Sabrina in the chest. Ochako then gets up, punching Seth right in the face, knocking him out.

"You could have done that a minute ago." Izuku says as he fixes his nose, using his shirt to stop the bleeding. Ochako simply stares at Izuku. "You can handle Sabrina right?" Izuku asks her, getting a nod from the girl. Izuku moves on, fighting any of the other recruits that came his way.

By the end of 45 minutes, Izuku, Ochako, Kaminari, Tokoyami and Tenko stood in a room full of either injured or unconscious recruits.

The stands erupted in cheers and applause as the agents clapped for the 5 kids when Bat and Dog jump down from the stands.

"Time for round two I guess." Izuku says as he gets ready.

"There's no round two kids." Everyone hears Fox's voice over the speakers. "All agents are requested to help the recruits to the Med-Bay. Izuku and the others come to Ms. Abigail's Office right away."

"Well, looks like we're in trouble." Kaminari sighs as the group carefully makes their way through the arena, exiting the place as they walked to the elevator.

The group is stopped right before the elevator by Bull. "Midoriya, follow me to the Med Bay." Bull tells them. "We need to run some tests and fix that nose for you." Izuku applies a little pressure to his nose and puts it back in place.

"See. I fixed it." Izuku says, trying to push past the larger man, only for the man to grab Izuku by his shoulders and stop him.

"Med Bay. Now. And that's an order." Bull says sternly.

Izuku sighs as he turns around. "I'll meet you guys up there in a bit." He tells the other 4 as he walks with Bull to the Med-bay.

Back in the present, Izuku heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." Izuku answers, stretching his right arm a bit.

"H-hey Izuku." Ochako says as she enters the room with the doctor.

"Hey." He greets her as he makes some space on the bed. "Lie down." Izuku tells her, patting the empty space next to him. "You're sleeping here."

"What why?" Ochako asks him.

"Do you want me to spell it out?" Izuku asks her sternly. "On the bed. Now. That's an order." Izuku says as he gets off the bed.

"What are you doing!" Ochako exclaims as she tries to stop Izuku.

"The healing is done. I'm just here for the arm." Izuku tells her. "Now, lie on the bed."

"Why?"

"You've not been sleeping well Ochako." Izuku tells her. "ANd don't try to lie your way out of this. Agent Nakamura and the Doctor, both told me about it."

"And?" Ochako asks, as if that was nothing.

"Lie down here. We have some time before the doc comes."

"... Can we... Can we.... Uhm... can we cuddle till then?" Ochako asks, with a slight blush.

"Sure." Izuku says. "There's more space not that I don't have my left arm." He jokes as Ochako joins him on the bed. "Close your eyes and rest Ochako." Izuku says, massaging Ochako's scalp, helping her fall asleep as she held him close.

"Love you." A sleepy Ochako mutters as Izuku pats Ochako's head

"I'm sorry Ochako. I really am." Izuku mutters softly, as an old memory resurfaces.

Izuku and Ochako were 16 and on their first mission with Fumi, Denki and Tenko. The mission was a simple in and out but things got a little complicated when all of a sudden three S class villains ambushed the group.

The first member of the group was Muscular, the S-Class villain responsible for taking down the Water Hose duo a few months ago. Following Muscular were a duo that in the past had been SWORD's primary antagonistic force, they were members of the Kai-Oh's, more specifically, leaders of two of the 10 subgroups – The Fist of Vacuum and the House of Fluid Body.

Their leaders, while not on the best of terms, did work together occasionally when their ideologies aligned.

The battle against the trio was tough for the group but they managed to barely pull a win using the cold environment of Serbia to their advantage. However, the mission did come with its fair share of losses. The team had lost more than half of the team they were in-charge of to the trio of S class villains.

The trio pulled back before re-enforcements could arrive, leaving the group to ten to the injured soldiers. The helicopter ride back to the closest Earth base was quiet. The group had just witnessed something akin to a massacre, that too of people they had come close to over the duration of their month-long mission.

Ochako was probably the worst affected, or at least the only person in the group of 5 that showed any signs of being affected by what they had seen. Their training with SWORD, all those videos that they had been shown to de-sensitise them to the murder, had been ineffective for Ochako.

She spent the whole ride holding onto Izuku's sleeve as the boy hugged her from the side, rubbing circles on her back.

Once they were back at HQ, the group immediately went to their rooms hoping to catch some sleep from that nightmare of a mission they just survived. While Tenko, Denki and Fumi were able to sleep and Izuku was able to almost fall asleep, Ochako kept tossing and turning on her bed with no semblance of her falling asleep.

Izuku had managed to get almost 3 hours of sleep when a knock on his door woke him up. Izuku opens the door to see a distressed Ochako "Ochako? Something wrong?" Izuku asks her.

"I can't sleep. It's- It's all too much. I keep seeing everyone die." Ochako tells him.

"Come in." Izuku tells her, pulling her by her hand and leading her to his bed. "Sit." He says, patting to the bed next to him. "You want to sleep here? I'll sleep on my chair over there." He offers.

"Can.. can you sleep here as well?" Ochako asks him with a soft blush on her face.

Izuku looks at Ochako for a second. "What's wrong? You've never asked this before. And we've seen much more horrific things before on the recordings."

"It's just..." Ochako takes a breath. "Looking at everyone get hurt and die back there, it all happened all too quickly for my mind to register. And then my brain just..."

"Started overthinking? Making scenarios that didn't happen?" Izuku finishes Ochako's sentence.

Ochako nods. "And the first thing that.. The first thing that I thought of was your death. And it just- It made me realise some things."

"Ochako." Izuku sighs, realising where this was going. "Look at me, please." Izuku tells her. "Look, I'll be honest with you, in our field of work, we never know when we might die."

"But-"

"Let me finish what I was saying Ochako." Izuku says with a soft smile. "I'd like for you to be happy for as long as you live, and I'm not sure if I'd be able to make you happy. That being said, till the day you find someone, I'm going to ensure that no one and I mean no one hurts you."

"I don't-"

Izuku interrupts Ochako once again. "Shhh. Just rest for now." Izuku tells her, pulling her into a hug. The girl cries onto his shoulder and slowly falls asleep.

Ochako slept next to Izuku for almost 30 minutes when the Doctor entered the room. Izuku signals for him to be quiet as he slowly gets out of his bed, careful not to disturb the girl as he walks to the doctor, slowly pulling out the needles in his arm.

"We'll head outside and talk." Izuku whispers to the doctor as the two of them walk outside, closing the door behind them. "So everything's ready?"

"Yes sir, the arm is ready to be installed. The procedure will be short but very painful as we won't be using general anaesthesia. We'll be using a mild local anaesthetic but you'll still feel some pain." The doctor says.

"Nothing I can't handle." Izuku tells him as he turns to see Ochako sleeping peacefully. "Have someone stand here and watch over her till she sleeps."

"Of course. I'll ask one of the nurses to stand here and watch over Ms. Uraraka. In the meantime, could you head to OT 3? It has been prepared for your surgery." The Doctor says, as he pulls out his phone and quickly makes a call.

The surgery went without any problems. If the surgeons were to be believed, there wasn't even a grunt of pain from Izuku as they connected the arm to his body while making the connections to the nerve endings on his shoulder. After the arm was installed.

 After the arm was installed

"Alright, Major Izuku, we'd like for you to test the arm out

"Alright, Major Izuku, we'd like for you to test the arm out." The technician tells Izuku. "We've asked some of the agents to get ready for a test run."

"They won't do." Izuku sighs. "Call in Denki and Fumi. Tell them to get their practice weapons."

"B-But sir, the arm it's not complete." The junior technician tells Izuku,

"You'd get the best details on how I use my arm if I fight those two. Ideally, I'd like for Ochako to be there too, but she's asleep right now, so those it's just those two." Izuku says.

"We'll call them sir." The senior technician says as he pulls his junior aside. "Why don't you get ready in the meantime?"

"Where can I practice a few punches?" Izuku asks.

"The testing room is right this way." The senior tech says.

20 minutes later Denki and Fumi walked in, wearing their training gear along with their training weapons.

"Why'd you have to call us like this Izuku." Denki whines.

"For once I agree with Denki, it's still too early for spars." Fumi says.

"Well, I'd wait till tomorrow but we've got school and I really wanted to test this out." Izuku says as he brandishes his new arm.

"HOLY FUCK!!! That's one amazing arm!" Denki exclaims. "I hope you've got spares!" He warns Izuku as he charges at Izuku with his practice mace.

A few hours later, Izuku, Fumi and Denki stood in the training area covered in sweat with metal parts lying all around them.

"Alright, here's your feedback. Love the design, so keep that. Next, the alloy you used, too heavy. It causes me to put too much force behind a normal punch. Use an alloy, something like gold-titanium combined with some of the metal from the broken Muramasa blades we have in the inventory. And make sure that I can go all out with my punches, you've got the data from today, use that. I can't risk having the arm break into pieces during a fight because I started punching too hard. Third, I want no additional items on the arm." Izuku tells the tech team.

"Are you sure sir? Having EMPs and stuff might help you and your team on missions." One of the technicians asks.

"We don't need an EMP, we've got this idiot." Fumi comments as he tilts his head towards Denki.

"Right. Anything else for the arm, Major Izuku?" The leader of the Tech team asks.

"Install a failsafe too. We can't risk it getting hacked. And keep the arm black. That's all." Izuku tells them.

"We'll take care of that sir. The instalment surgery won't be as long as the one today since the base connection ports have already been installed." The head explains. "The arm should take about a day or two to get ready."

"Take your time. Just ensure quality." Izuku says as the trio grab the towels that were kept for them on the side and walks to the changing rooms. "So, what's happening at UA?"

"Sports festival was announced yesterday." Denki says.

"It's on Monday." Fumi adds. Izuku sighs at this.

"Don't be like that. Fox said that we won't be participating in it, because we'd win pretty easily without using our powers." Denki tells Izuku. "Instead, we'll be having an exhibition match to showcase what the UA students will be learning as part of their new curriculum."

"New curriculum?" Izuku questions.

"Yeah, apparently SWORD and UA have internally teamed up, so SWORD will be providing UA with trainers and some tech and SWORD gets all of UA's support when they finally face the Hero Commission." Fumi explains.

"And the exhibition match?" Izuku asks.

"Yeah, he said something about a 4-way battle between us where weapons are allowed." Denki explains. "It's a gimmick. And kinda boring if you ask me."

"Well, if we're supposed to give them a show then let's blow them away." Izuku says with a smile.

"We're listening." Fumi says for both himself and Denki.

"Impatient much? Let's wait for Ochako to wake up." Izuku tells them.

"Where is she anyway?" Denki asks Izuku.

"She's sleeping." Izuku answers.

"You managed to do that. Thank god. I was really getting worried for her man. The way she was acting, it really reminded me of you know...." Denki trails off.

"I know. Her powers have worsened her mental condition. It really worries me at times too." Izuku tells them. "And we're getting closer to Abigail's final plans... If the time comes and we have to take down AFO, I will resort to using that."

"Are you serious?" Denki asks him.

"It's our only choice. It will be if we have to defeat Tenko and AFO." Izuku sighs. "If that day ever comes... I want you to promise me that you'll..."

"We'll take care of it." Fumi answers, understanding what Izuku was trying to tell them. "We'll make sure of it."

"I'm sure SWORD will be able to come up with something to take that relic down. You might not even have to use that at the end." Denki suggest.

"Denki, that man has lived for centuries, he's avoided almost four generations of SWORD leaders so far. If using it ensures our victory, I'm going to use it." Izuku answers.

"But-" Denki tries to argue.

"We're never discussing this again and this discussion never happened. Am I understood?" Izuku tells them as he walks out of the training room and heads to his room.
