I continued to walk down the corridor that leads to the main area, wondering how I was going to explain to the situation with a new mission and the mission itself.
Deciding just to be straight with them, so I brace myself and open the door.
"Maverick!"
"What took you so long man"
"Ya, what took you"
"Did you find out what you did this time"
And so on they went with different questions and comments.
"Shup up will you. Your giving me a headache."
Eventually things quite down only leaving one question.
" Seriously though Mav what are we going here?"
And that's the million dollar question.
"Well for starters I can answer almost all those questions with one answer:
The reason as to why we are all here is because we have all been assigned a new mission. One that is going to be more dangerous them any mission you have ever accomplished. Not much is currently know about this particular mission an the moment but out sources will inform us of more information regarding the mission.
What we do know at the moment is that this is a infiltration based mission we will split into teams one will clear a path for another team(a new unknown ally which we will find out at a later date) while the other team will destroy any possible escape routes and vehicles of the enemy ( who are also unknown at the moment)"
"...that's it? Is there no other information that you give us?" Asked Brandly.
"That is all the information I know about the mission."
"What about this so called sources of 'information'. Who are they."
"...that information is... confidential. I don't know I permitted to give that info out. You will likely find out next week anyway."
"So...your say we are all being sent to another suicide mission with basically no information about anything." Bob asked hesitate.
"To be honest, yes. Not to mention that we have a week to prepare before meeting with these mysterious ally that we have."
"So then what are we ment to do"
"Prepare for anything. We don't know much but we do know a little so let's work with that. For now we will focus on dog fighting, stealth and and infiltration exercise for the next week.
So let's start with the basics right now, can't have you getting rusty on me."
"No way we will crush you this time old man!"

A week later:
All the pilot were trained and ready for the full debrief for the mission. Or they thought they were, but that quickly changed when Nick fury walked out with an unknown person(Maria Hill) as will as very will know Blackwidow, Hawkeye,The Tony Stark, The Captain America and Colonel James Rhodes.
Why can't we have ONE normal thing in this mission.
