Sam, Dean, and John returned to the bunker just at that moment.
What happened? Dean asked.
Ward killed Smith and kidnapped Skye. Colson answered.
Shit. Sam muttered.
So what's the plan? John asked.
John Winchester, nice to meet you. Said Colson.
I'm glad to meet you, too. Said John.
And what are you doing here? May asked.
I told you that when I find a way to finally kill the demon, I'll be back. John answered.
So you've found it. Barry concluded.
Yes, the problem is that we have five tries left and I'd like to save all of them. Said John.
Okay, let's go. Said Colson.
Airport: two hours later.
Ward was standing outside the plane, Skye was sitting next to him in handcuffs.
So what are you planning to do? Asked Skye.
It's simple, I'll talk to Barry and he'll turn himself in. Ward answered.
No. Said Skye.
I know you think he's loyal to you, and that's true, but once you tell him about the whereabouts of his mother's killer, he'll dump you right away. You'll see, I'll show you. Said Ward, at which point Barry came around the corner.
Give it up, Ward. Said Barry, that's when everybody pointed their guns at him.
Holy shit, don't shoot nobody, it's Barry. Look who's coming out to fight like a pro. I'm so proud of you, in case you didn't know you're almost like a brother to me. Said Ward.
Yeah, the brother you betrayed. Said Barry.
Those words break my heart, if I really made you think that, I'm sorry. I betrayed the Shield, yes. But I never betrayed you. Said Ward, after prolonged eye contact Ward continued to speak.
The world ain't a fair place, boy. You know that much better than I do. You had to see your mother die, see your father go to jail for it, even though he didn't kill your mother. It totally sucks, which is why we need a leader willing to do whatever it takes to make sure this nightmare doesn't happen again. Oh wait a minute, that's Gareth. Said Ward.
Bad things happen, but we can work it out, stop it, make it go away peacefully. Said Barry.
That's what I'm talking about, we can solve this peacefully, if you turn yourself in, I'll give you your mother's killer and you give me your talent, and if the rest of us don't agree, we'll kill him. Said Ward.
Kill me. Said Barry, and both Skye and Ward were surprised.
What did you say? Ward asked.
If you have to kill someone, or if you want to live, then kill me. I mean it. Barry answered, Ward and Skye were even more surprised.
Do you want to die? Ward asked.
No I don't, but I'm ready. So be it. God knows what this man is up to with my help, I don't want any part of it. And if you have a good purpose, then take your gun, point it at me, and pull the trigger. You'll probably save a lot of people by doing that. It'll be worth it. Barry answered, Ward looked at Barry with an extremely lost look, Barry realized he'd taken him by surprise and decided to push him down.
That was your plan? That's what you wanted, wasn't it? Is this what you wanted to be? Asked Barry, Ward didn't answer.
At that moment a bullet flew at one of the Hydra agents, Skye seized the moment and broke free from Ward's grasp.
Take cover!!! Shouted Barry, then the two of them ran for cover.
You son of a bitch, Barry. That was a set-up, and I thought we understood each other, you bastard. Open fire! Shouted Ward, and then the shooting started.
We're under fire, people! Shouted Barry.
At that moment, Sam, Dean, and John started shooting from behind cover.
Run!!! Shouted Dean, which is exactly what they did, after which Sam, Dean, and John jumped for cover.
Split up, meet me at the base. Said John.
That's right. Said the two at the same time, whereupon John pulled out the colt and handed it to Sam.
It's our only chance to win, keep it. Said John.
Yes sir. Said Sam.
Now go ahead. Said John, whereupon Sam and Dean darted off in one direction and John in the other.
Barry and Skye, meanwhile, found a random car and stole it.
Are you okay? Barry asked.
I'm okay, how about you? Asked Skye.
More or less, it's time to go to the motel, they're waiting for us there. Barry answered.
Thirty minutes later they were at the motel, Colson and May were waiting for them.
Five minutes later, Sam and Dean pulled up.
They stood outside the motel for about 50 minutes, but John never came.
Suddenly Dean got a call, the number on the phone was his father's.
Yeah, Dad. Said Dean.
You guys are in deep shit. Said Meg, she survived the fall from the window.
Where is he? Asked Dean.
You'll never see your dad again. Said Meg, then hung up.
