Summary
Thor knew something was weird, he was just not quite able to put his finger on it. His Father had hastened him to return to Earth, weakening himself in the process, no doubt, as the Rainbow Bridge was still...out of commission to say the least. What he had not expected was to have his father wish him to return with his brother, Loki. He had thought Loki dead, but it would seem that was not quite correct. That alone is suspect, he had fallen into the Void, after all, and none survive the void. Needless to say, his twist of memories, though Thor knew a good portion of what he had told him on the rock was true, there was something that ringed...off with what he was saying. It made more sense when he got more information though, but he had no idea how to fix his little brother.

Chapter 7

The green beasts human form seemed to know what he was doing, and Loki would admit he felt far better than he had in over a year now. Still, anxiety clung under the surface. These midgardians claimed that Thor wanted to have him pardoned. It was laughable at best. Loki was not a moron. They were simply trying to heal him so their torment for information would be more fun. It was no fun playing with a toy half broken though. The Other had done worse, he had to remember, he was good. And if he was executed, then...then maybe that would be for the best. After all, no memories, just death. Oh the delicious exit of death. He knew he would not make it to Valhalla, but at least...Loki sighed. Thanos could not reach him if he was dead, and that was all he cared for. He did not want Thanos to reach him...to send him back to...Loki shook his head again. He could not be thinking about these things.

It would seem the Hawk was serious. The green beast had helped him, and then they walked slowly to the living area, where Thor was watching him carefully. Loki veered away from him, moving more towards his Hawk, and that Natasha fellow. He ignored the slightly shocked looks as he dropped his head on the Hawk's shoulder. His body felt far better than he had in a while, but he was still weak, and his magic was still fluttering, desperately trying to heal itself. He would need to avoid it for a time. Now that his body was better, his magic should hopefully return far quicker than it had been as of late. The constant torment was not just to break his mind after all. Loki was formidable, but his magic's first duty was to protect himself, and keep him alive and it could only do so much.

"Loki, Sir Barton has informed me that you think I will allow such a ridiculous thing as execution." Loki stared balefully at Thor and waved his hand dismissively.

"execution, banishment, imprisonment, does it really matter what form it takes? It shall happen, I do not think I have to remind you which of us is regularly punished for your transgressions, and for less than what I Have done to midgard."

"I broke a peace treaty, and slaughtered hundreds of frost giants, and yet my only punishment was banishment. I will not allow you to be punished more severely than myself." Loki stared at Thor, longing to laugh in his stupid face, but he was simply too exhausted to bother.

"Thor, perhaps you forget, or maybe you simply do not know, the Allfather took your magic, your power, and the gifts being Asgardian gives you...He cannot do the same for me." Thor's almost startled look was enough to tell Loki his brother did not know, in fact. He just inwardly sighed again. He had told Loki that the Allfather was powerless against his magic time and again. It was akin to their moth...Frigga's magic. Odin was unable to take hers as well. Still, he supposed the sentiment was nice. It was kind.

"No, I do not care, such actions are dishonorable. To punish you worse simply because you are more powerful. You are not the crown prince of Asgard, your punishment should not be more severe."

"I am not anything of Asgard, or have you forgotten." Loki's words seemed to finally push Thor to the edge, the Hammer slamming down, and leaving Loki to flinch violently at the show of force.

"You became of Asgard the moment Father snatched you from your bundle in the Frost Giant Realm. It matters not where you originated. You became Father and Mother's in that moment. You are a prince of asgard, no matter what others may say." Loki felt an almost...well, there was a certain feeling building in his chest, and he dared not to address it.

"How are you even going to force the Allfather to listen to you, Thor,"

"If he refuses to see reason..." Thor said slowly. "I shall abidcate." Loki jumped up, a sudden gust of strength provided at the shock of Thor's statement. The weight of it. "No, I will not hear your words on it. I shall not stand for such injustice, father or no. He is your king, as well, and the way that you have been treated is appalling. Not just now," Thor said softly, his eyes downcast suddenly. "Father has treated you unfairly for a long while, and I did not understand until you pointed it out. I did not see it, but he should have been far more wary of the tales and rumors of frost giants, knowing you were Laufey's son, and yet he was not. He treated you with disregard, and held you as a peace prize. I cannot accept such awful actions. Should he punish you beyond anything but a month long banishment on earth, I will not accept it." loki's strength left him, falling backwards, the Hawk grabbing him and pulling him back onto the couch.

He would not be able to convince Thor, had never been, honestly. The words though...HE could not believe...
