I Kissed a God

"You used to be a good girl," Loki whispered as he leaned over Alice and looked down at her as she lay underneath him." What's changed?" he asked, leaning in his arm and brushing a strain of hair behind her ear, as the wind blew by. She wore a tank top and skinny jeans. She was comfortable showing him her skin.

They both lay on the sand at the beach again, ignoring the beautiful sunset. This was their beach they had come here as often as they could this was their place ... their secret.

"we're missing the sunset," Alice whispered as she reached up to touch his cheek but quickly put her hands back at her side . "we're missing it," she said again but didn't look away from Loki, and he didn't look away from her.

As the sunset, the two kept their eyes on each other, letting everything get dark before lighting up again with the moon.

"We missed it," Loki chuckled.

And that was true every time they came to their little beach they'd be doing something else and miss the sunset. Whether it be reading, sleeping, talking, or just simply looking at each other they always missed the sunset.

Alice gasped and then smiled as she felt a brisk wind then her sheets beneath her skin. " what's the point of going for a sunset if we never watch it?" Alice sits up on her elbows.

"To get you out of this stuffy tower. Dr.Banner says your immune system is weak taking you outside will strengthen it. I agreed"

Alice smiles and laughs as they are teleported and fall back into the bed Loki smiles and lays next to her as she laughs.

Laying in her bed, they look that of the overly fluffy field of flowers scene in Twilight but ten times better and more realistic. Loki wasn't some inexperienced high school vampire but a very experienced,d centuries-old God. Alice wasn't some reckless, dumbass high school girl looking for supernatural attention she wasn't an adrenaline junky. She was a 17-year-old genius with superpowers locked up in a high-tech tower. They were far from twilight. Better than Twilight.

Alice should most definitely show Loki Twilight.

Looking at Loki, she reached out to touch him and suddenly he was gone.

"Loki? Loki?!"

Loki appeared on his bed at the exact moment Thor barged in "BROTHER"

"Thor, do you not have manners" Loki scoffed.

Thor looked at Loki, then the door, then Loki. He smiled and knocked twice. "BROTHER," Loki rolled his eyes "What".

"The others are gathering for game night why don't you join us"

"No, thank you. I'd rather perish alone in silence." He fell back into his bed. Honestly, since his arrival Loki had done his best to avoid all the Avengers.

"If you don't join them with something, they'll never trust you or like you for that matter" he didn't care if they liked him or not. Alice liked him, and Dr. Banner was kind enough while he tolerated him. And Thor was his brother. He didn't really desire anymore at this point.

Thor sighed and reluctantly left his brother, once again, alone. He was trying really hard to show everyone Loki had changed but Loki wasn't helping show that changed by sitting in his room all day. And isolating himself.

"Let's guess"

"he said no," Natasha finished Clint's sentence. Thor didn't say anything, took a set on the couch, and drank his Asgard booze.

"If Loki is turned in for the night, how about we sneak Alice down" Sam suggested.

"Spoke with her earlier today she isn't feeling good. She hasn't been feeling any good lately. I should check on her," Tony said Bruce tensed up in his seat. He knew good and well why Alice and Loki both opted to stay out of the game night and that it was likely they were both in Alice's room. Bruce had to think fast to keep Tony away from Alice.

"You've been letting her outside or balcony, right? Her immune system is weak. She's probably just adjusting to it. New York air isn't the cleanest. She just needs some rest let her build her immunity." Bruce thought quickly, using their doctor's voice to tell a half lie half true and make Tony worry less and stay for the games. It bought it and sat down. Natasha and Clint, however, took notice of Bruce's strange behavior but said nothing.

Brucie's got a secret.

After Thor left, Loki immediately reappeared in Alice's room. "Sorry about-" Alice sat crying in her bed. Loki dropped to his knees before her and took her " Darling," he took her hands from her face and wiped her tears as they came.

She was hyperventilating she could barely breathe. There was a pain in her chest her lungs were caving in within her. She was hot, and the room was not big enough and was unsteady. And her vision was blurred. She was having a panic attack.

"I-I... y-you left, I thought I had done someth-thing w-wrong."

"I'm so sorry"Standing up Loki sat on the bed next to Alice and pulled her into his lap and brought her to his chest. " You did nothing wrong. Thor barged into my room, he can see through my illusions, so I needed to be there. You've done nothing wrong I'm sorry for leaving so suddenly." Loki held her tighter and kissed her forehead as if to prove his point.

They sat like this in silence for a few minutes.

"I ruined your shirt," Alice whispered pulling away, but he stopped her

"It's okay, it's just a shirt"

Loki kissed the top of her forehead gently. Then the center, then her nose. Her lips were right there. His imagination drove him wild just looking. They looked soft, so he imagined them soft as silk and as sweet.

Holding her close with one hand and cupping her face with the other. Running his thumb over her cheek, then her bottom lip. She let him.

Alice watched his lips as well. She imagined his lips were soft but also cold like his hands she imagined they tasted like fruit and ice.

Loki leaned forward. Their noses touched as they shared each other's breath, the same air. "May I" Loki whispered brushing his lips against hers.

"please"

Their imaginations did no justice. Alice had experienced nothing like this before. It felt good, too good. It took her breath away. It was so calming that any worries or doubts earlier melted away.

Loki swore he had gone to Valhalla as their lip moved in sync. He moved to hold the back of her neck. Slipping his tongue into her mouth. He could taste the fruit they shared earlier, sweet.

Loki was kissing Alice. Alice was kissing Loki. He was kissing her. She was kissing him. He was kissing a mortal. She was kissing a god.

With every meal he had in the galaxy, none could compare to this sweetness. Loki pulled her closer to him, wrapping his arms around her waist and his other hand in her hair. Alice held tightly onto his biceps.

Loki was kissing Alice. Alice was kissing Loki. He was kissing her. She was kissing him. He was kissing a mortal. She was kissing a god.
