How Stephen meet Tony's Rhodey
When Tony proposed to not switch, Stephen didn’t thought he would miss him this much. They had their phone calls and they wrote to each other regularly, but being in his body had a different feeling.
Though Stephen couldn’t tell Tony about this feeling. When Tony was going to MIT he said with him beginning MIT and Stephen going to Pre-Med next year, it’s better to test if they could remain in their own bodies, He was right to suggest this test and it was a logical decision but, it didn’t make enduring this distance easier.
Probably if tony wasn’t rambling about his roommate, Rhodey, in every call or writing about his plans on how to make him his best friend, this period could be so much easier.
He could confess he was jealous and the only thing keeping him from losing control and breaking his promise to Tony for keeping different sleeping schedule was their special link…but if this test would be successful then…well it’s better not to think about something that didn’t happen yet.

When Stephen opened his eyes and found himself in unknown room he felt a huge wave of relief and happiness. He remembered he had lost conscious after almost 2 months in his body and it meant one thing: the test had failed. Although he knew Tony want he repeat this test in near future but that wasn’t important right now. A stupid smiled formed on his face.
“Oh good you are awake! Now I could kill you myself. Why did you think not sleeping for 5 days straight would make more interested in being your friend? Your awful scent or your mess of invention that is more complicated than what I learned from my classes?”
Stephen raised on his elbows to see a 16-17 years old black teen with handsome features who was glaring at him (or more correctly at Tony). After analyzing what he heard and what he knew from Tony, this is the famous James “Rhodey” Rhodes. And then he decided to make this boy Tony’s best friend, because having someone on his team for calling Tony on his bullshit was excellent. If with doing this Tony would owe him, it was just a bounce.
Rhodey knew he was in a big trouble when he saw that dangerous smile on Tony’s face.
