1 - Ian hates public events
Ian grew to hate public events. After being drawn into several over the years, he began to feel bored and upset, not least because in all of them they always stole "his girl" from him and didn't have time to have a little fun together.
But Angela adored them. She wished for it. For fame and recognition. And if she was happy about something, well... Ian would be happy too.
As he waited for her to finish getting ready, he watched her. The years only made her even more beautiful and he always told her that. Although not necessary. Angela was aware of the beauty she possessed. But compliments from her always had some effect on her, at least he was rewarded by one of her pretty smiles. And he loved her smile.
— I'm almost done and we can go. - She said. Looking at him in the mirror.
— You can take your time, I'm not in a hurry. – He scratched his beard as he kept his eyes fixed on her.
— Do you think the black dress is pretty?
— I think anything about you looks beautiful. – She smiled at him through the mirror.
— It will not be a long event. Let's have a few drinks and socialize with the cast and crew of the new movie.
— You always say that and we never got back before 3am.
— This time I promise. Just a few hours and then I'm all yours. – She caught his eye in the mirror while offering him a sly smile.
— I think I can work for the reward.
