Chapter 6
With Erik spread out on the bed in front of Charles, he was suddenly hit with the realization of just how many scars littered the man's skin. Not that Charles thought any less of Erik for them, he felt the same about him regardless, but he did hate knowing everything Erik had to go through.
Charles tried not to let his gaze linger on them for too long, knowing he had scars of his own that were also on display and the longer the two of them just looked at each other, the more they both wanted to cover up.
"Come on, Liebling," Erik mumbled softly, looking up at Charles, though his eyes were wandering over exposed skin the same as Charles's own were.
"Right," Charles replied before leaning down, pressing his lips against Erik's as his hands start to move, exploring skin and getting to know the man under him. His fingers found a long scar going down Erik's right side. It felt almost medically straight, though rough raised skin ruined the effect.
"Don't," Erik mumbled into the kiss, and Charles forced himself not to think about Shaw and the horrific things he had seen in Erik's mind. Instead, his hands continued on their path, reaching Erik's hip and pausing again at what Charles severely hoped was not a scar from a bullet wound.
"It is," Erik stated, his head falling back on the bed, breaking the kiss. "If you pause at everyone we're never going to get through this part and I'm going to get my revenge by flipping us over and doing the same thing to you," He stated or threatened more accurately.
"You've been shot?" Charles found himself asking, though he might have gotten the wrong thing from what Erik had just said. "How have you survived this long by yourself?"
"A little dangerously with only the goal of taking as many nazi's out with me as I possibly can," Erik replied, "I can take care of myself and am stronger than I look. Now, if you're finished looking at my scars when please can we go back to what we were doing before the mood is completely ruined?"
Charles couldn't help but smirk down at Erik, "Oh please, like you don't get off on the thought of killing those people."
Erik smiled back, not agreeing but certainly not denying it. Charles leaned back down to kiss Erik once again, this time determined not to get distracted.
