Divine Encounter

Episode Title: "Divine Encounter"

The episode opens with a flashback to the late 1700s, where we see a young woman named Marie Laveau in New Orleans performing voodoo rituals. She creates a pair of divine statues, representing two souls destined to be together. She says that these statues will protect them from danger and lead them to each other.

They say all good things come in threes

Coincidentally if you asked 3 very certain people they'd tell you that's straight bullshit.

April 18, 2009

The waves beat into the sand of the shore quietly, a rushed symphony of crashes and whooshing filling the sea salt laced air.

The heat of a many campfires welcoming flame scasted gracious shadows on the grain below, around one of them sat a father and his son taking in the atmosphere. Enjoying their time for what it had been.

"Theo" The older man spoke to his son, "Come here I want to give you something."

Leo watched as his 8 year old son sauntered quietly up in front of him. A soft smile on his calm face.

Reaching into his pocket Leo pulled out a neck, a key held on it that bore an interesting symbol upon It's bow. The younger bowing his neck so his father could help him dawn the new trinket.

"What is it?" Theo looked at the key curiously, an eyebrow lifted as he did so.

"It's a symbol that represents me and the fact that I'll always be with you. Whenever you have this necklace just remember that I'm always watching over. Someday you'll have one all your own."

Theo's eyes twinkled at his father's words "I get to have one just like this?"

The father was about to answer when the winds around the father son Duo picked up. Leo took his son's hand trying to pull him. "We've got to go, we'll get caught in the Storm if we stay any longer."

Theo stood in place, seemingly frozen. Whether in fear or interest you really wouldn't be able to tell.

The first wave came, completely overtaking a group of beach goers.

Then another

And another.

Left and right they were swept away, those who didn't run for their lives. Even then some still caught the wrath of the storm.

"Theo lets-" darkness fell over Leo before he could finish. Mighty thunder roared as the crash of the wave against the beach shook fear into the earth itself.

Theo turned but was all too late "Dad!" Looking around in the water frantically "Say something please!"

Searching frantically in the water, the wind raging on so much his feet almost seemed to leave the ground. Till again, thunder.

Time seemed slower than it had ever been as that wave came crashing down, if he had just moved maybe… But again he froze.

Swept away by the water's passionate flow Theo flailed helplessly through the suffocating air of liquid glass. Panic setting in like a dormant wasp nest that had been attacked.

Suddenly it was all null.

Black and empty, maybe he would feel the sweat release of death. If he couldn't stay with his father here then he'd move on with em. Hoping his mother could forgive him.

All this until his eyes opened, wide staring through the ocean's deep blue depths. Spotting down under him a sight he wished he'd never seen.

Swimming down rapidly, his father's limp body was the boy's only company in the vast spring of death.

Wordlessly Theo shook his father with all the force he could manage but no response. The tears in his eyes apparent among the oppressive droplets of the sea. Flowing irregularly.

Then his chest started to get heavy, it made sense a person wasn't meant to be submerged for this long. Everything was going so slow but racing at 1000 miles per minute at the same time.

Until he had two hands, one of each side of him. One covered by shadow and the other masked by light. He almost didn't want to bite the thought of his mom, losing both lights of her life. He couldn't do that to her.

Reaching both hands out at his side the key of the necklace his father bestowed him began to glow a luminescent shade of Jade.

Then black

Not just blacked out, black completely. Everything around him had become dark, vast, empty. Yet so filling at the same time.

Felt like he was walking for ages till a light rang in the distance. The same Jade kindling that evolved him earlier.

Theo rushed towards it… the chase was futile.

Everytime he got close it somehow seemed further away. Falling to his knees he caved, reaching forward helplessly. A strong hand found him and seemed to help him toward his goal.

Next thing he knew the light wasn't off in the distance. He was the light.

Crash, the sand on his back and in between his fingers grounded him again. Sitting up groggily as checked his surroundings, memory fogged over in a haze of confusion. Trying to move his hands proved difficult which he didn't understand until looking down at them.

In each hand was another, neither his own. Theo looked to his side, seeing a boy in a black hoodie and a girl who looked right out of high society. Ballet and all.

It felt calming in a way to be here, though he didn't know them. It almost made him forget-

He jumped away, well not literally. Not wanting to wake the other kids Theo moved a few feet away. Watching over them in a sense while also taking the time to wallow through his sadness.

The sound of the waves was his only comfort, now it served as his tormentor. The scene played through his head every time the waves met the shore, over and over again.

The girl woke up first, also seeming dazed from whatever she had experienced. Until now Theo hadn't thought about it. Why all of them landed here together.

Getting up slowly she scanned her immediate area, looking at the other boy near her and then at the space in between them. The imprint of Theo from where he was previously laying was still there.

She looked around before her eyes landed on him "Do you know what's going on?" She asked him. Shivering almost religiously. Makes sense the ballerina costume wasn't of the thickest material.

"I'm just as lost as you." Getting up somberly, Theo could tell she was full of the same energy as he was.

Low, sad, lost.

Crouching down by the other boy Theo carefully took off his jacket and brought it to the girl. "Name's Theo"

The girl took the jacket hesitantly but was quick to put it on. Bundling into it as deep as she could before giving a slightly forced smile. "Tandy, Tandy Bowen."

Theo nodded, flinching as the waves came again, wanting to get off the beach right that moment. "Let me take you home, not safe to be walking home alone right now"

Tandy gave a thankful nod, not wanting to be alone right now. Then looked at the boy still out on the beach "Well what about him? It'd be unsafe to leave him here."

Theo looked back, knowing this was true but then catching sight of the water ahead of them, shaking his head.

He walked over to the boy, pulling him a little farther from the water's reach and then taking off the necklace his father gave to him. Putting the key in the boy's hands and clasping them around it tightly.

"I'll be back" He whispered.

Then turned to Tandy, grabbing her hand and letting her lead.

When Tandy did reach her door she hurried to make it back, leaving behind one of her shoes with him. Looking down at it he left, heading back to the beach for the other boy.

Only problem being that when he did return the boy was gone, and with the boy went his necklace as well. Cursing himself the young boy made his way back to his own home. Knowing his mother was probably worried sick

-February 2017-

One, The crowded floor of a packed club

Tandy sat at the bar of the club, calling across it for the attention of a well dressed man. Completely I'm entranced with her it didn't take long for him to make his way over.

The chat's trivial but he doesn't seem to mind. At the mention of Tandy like more intimate style events he took the hint, changing inviting her over to his place. A crooked smile on her face as she gladly accepted.

Guys like this were easy for her, just throw 'em a bone and they'll catch like a dog on a chain.

Once they got back to his house it was as a getting a drink or two in his system. No one needed to know if anything slipped in or out.

The guy was out like a light in no time letting Tandy get to what she actually was on the job for. Teaching a rich kid a lesson on who he should or shouldn't let in so easily.

Her partner in crime and many more things Liam made his way into the building once the coast was clear and safe to say, the night wasn't a complete waste.

Diamond jewelry, expensive ballet tickets, a bunch of drugs she could pass off and make some money out of it.

~

Two, The nervous taps on the floor between players. All worried about the state of their current game.

Tyrone Johnson, some would say star player. Some would say the worst on the court. But the kid definitely had talent, just happens to be in that moment his luck was running loose.

The team was holed up in the locker room at half time after getting their asses handed to em in the first half. Coach livid going off at them all, it just wasn't Ty's night.

When they got back in the game everything was just wrong for him. The build honestly something many men would do a lot worse over.

Playing defense, the minute that ball left his hand Tyrone felt the force of the other play against his body. Next thing he knew he hit the ground, blood boiling when he looked up.

The smug asshole standing over him like he was better than him. The minute he turned around Ty was on him.

Rushing at em like a bullet trying to catch its mark. He never felt better than the moment he knocked the shit out of that guy.

In hindsight a fight in front of the whole crowd, especially his parents, wasn't the smartest but in that moment he didn't care.

~

Three, The rushing patter of a kitchen staff bustling as they got through their final hours.

Theo as the head chef of the restaurant oversaw all of their most important proceedings whenever the boss wasn't present.

This included important meals. "Come one everyone, this is one of our busiest nights of the month. These dishes aren't easy." At this time Theo was walking the floor supervising the other chefs and staff.

Nights like these always filled them all with energy which wasn't always the best when trying to avoid mishaps in the kitchen.

Handling Important guests were also in the job description. Tonight's most important, leader of one of the wannabe local gang's. In most eyes his importance wasn't really there.

Smelling like new money, jumping like wherever he went he could get stabbed. Demeanor completely unwitting of his position or maybe just fitting enough.

"I hope everything's to your liking" They spoke kindly, pouring him a refill of his glass. The waiters behind Theo veered around him, placing down more entrees and sides ordered by the semi sized party that held the private room.

Last but not least…. Important dealings

The door closed behind him as two staff stood on the other side protecting it. Theo and the staff inside the room outnumbered the part as he pulled up a chair relaxed tone still about him.

"Now let's get down to business" Slapping an envelope on the table.

-

As all long days ended the three all headed home.

Tandy getting dropped off by Liam by what seemed to be her apartment. Only to turn around with it once he was out of view.

Running across the street and looking around cautiously before slipping into an alley, climbing up some pallets and up onto a wall to reach a plank up high.

Dropping it to enter what would be revealed as an abandoned church she seemed to live out of, climbing down the ladder and lighting candles for herself.

~

Tyrone arrived home with his parents, both of whom looked very disappointed in him. Anger still latent with him he made his way upstairs without any argument.

Tilting a picture of him and his brother Billy which had gone crooked on the stairway wall.

When entering his room he roughly threw his bag to the floor already very tired from the day he just had.

Everyone saw what happened yet he was still the one put in trial in the eyes of the crowd including his parents. Almost like they wanted him to get hurt at that moment.

~

Theo parked his car up outside what looked like an abandoned warehouse. Turning off the car and hopping out he took his key and opened the door to the building revealing an interior which no one would ever expect thanks to its rundown exterior.

Locking the door behind him they faced their pride and joy. The warehouse while being where they live also happened to be Theo's biggest project.

Being an open loft type place with more space than one person should be able to fill but that never stopped them.

Heading past the kitchen and sitting their backpack on the kitchen island before heading up the stairs to the 3rd which is what could be considered their bedroom. Considering that is what it was mostly used for.

The teens now all behind closed doors let the stress of the day roll off them all changing for more freeing clothes.

-

Ty looking himself over in the mirror examining the damage of the fight, the sound of his parents arguing setting off a self despair in him. Theo looked through a duffle bag full of cash they'd made in tonight's dealing, counting under the warm light on their bed as the red stained cash piled up. Tandy unpacked her bag and picked up a familiar black hoodie. Putting it on then letting a pill bottle find her hand. Crushing and snorting the contents.

All three blocked the outside world with their headphones. Wanting to be done with this day already.

~

Mornings past and the three are all off loving their days through.

Tandy's early at a pawn shop, in a bad mood from the earnings she pushed the aggression to Liam at the max. He brings up a party he heard telling her they should go so she could blow off some steam. She doesn't seem opposed

Tyrone, while at school, gets approached by Evita, one of the school's most popular girls and cheerleaders. Saying she was sent to invite him to the party the girls are throwing, giving him her number in the process.

Theo was woken up that morning by a text from Jayden, a guy they'd been talking to for a while at this point. Inviting them to the party as well which they happily accepted, thinking it'd be a good time to ask Jayden to be official.

-10 pm-

Tyrone arrived at the party, seeing the mass of people already there. Looking down at his gps to make sure he had the right place before proceeding. Not really knowing many he started to search for Evita in the crowd when he was run Into by a girl, the cup of beer she was holding spilling on his jacket.

The girl turning out to be Tandy began to apologize for it in which he said it's okay. "I don't really wear this jacket much anyway."

A short conversation passes between the two before Tandy excuses herself to try and get more effective towels to wipe up his jacket with.

The outcome never really came to fruition though as Tyrone was intercepted by Evita. Inviting him over to the seller to buy her a beer which he chuckles at. When getting ready to pay for it though Ty pats himself down, realizing he doesn't have his wallet on him anymore.

Looking around until he spots Tandy with Liam across the wand she doesn't seem to be looking for towels. Calling out to her "Hey blonde girl" causing her to run away after looking back at him. Ty following in a snap reaction, running through any people in his way.

The chase is underway, meanwhile~

Theo had made it to the party earlier than the other two. Parking his car in the circle with the others parked around the group, getting out with the headlights still on. Looking at their phone about to call Jayden when somebody jumps on their back with a shout of surprise.

Luckily the party was loud or they'd be looked at with all eyes in the place. Theo uncovered their eyes looking over their shoulder. "Jay, I thought I told you to stop doing that."

Jayden smiled as Theo got him off and placed him in front of them. Looking up at theo Jayden giggled "You always say that but you never stop me. Even when you see me coming" A bold grin on his face.

Theo gave a faux annoyed smirk "Even if I did you'd keep going anyway"

Always the ever present ball of sunshine Jayden just smiled "Yeah yeah, Mister big and stoic to chicken to admit they like me being around."

Theo chuckled softly at that, taking Jayden under their arm as they put it around his shoulder. Speaking lowly "You don't know how right you are"

They walked into the party chatting for a bit with some friends that also went to St. Sebastian's with Jayden. Having been around Jayden enough Theo began to hang out with some of the crowd Jayden was evolved with.

Made them feel like a normal teenager sometimes.

Emphasis on sometimes, it was bound to happen eventually but Theo started to pick up on an energy signature near the area of the party. Something drawing them to go there.

Turning to Jayden they spoke softly "I gotta go do something but please wait for me, I'll give you a ride home yeah?"

Though confused at first the younger gave a nod "Be safe and don't take forever. You might miss me"

Theo all but snorted before leaving, placing an absent minded kiss to the Jayden's temple and going. Leaving behind a cherry red boy with his mouth gaped open while those around in the group blew into full on hysterics laughing at their friend.

It's funny how fates works out sometimes

Even if it'd only be a minute it felt like they were running forever. A pointless chase that would change the lives of many from this day forward.

No matter how athletic he was he couldn't catch her, must pay to be a thief. Getting ever so close but so far at the same time, the gap wouldn't close until.

"Hey!, yo stop!" Bang, the world seemed to stop around the group as Theo opened his eyes. The shouting having been from him as he tried to warn Tandy who had been looking back at Ty when she ran into them.

A bubble of black mist and white light forming, a shimmer of green undertones if you looked hard enough. Though for Theo it was clear as day.

Then boom, they were all sent flying back in a triangle of sorts. The power of the blast is powerful enough to break parts of tombs when they hit em.

Starting to get up Ty and Tandy looked at their hands, then at each other. Seeing they were both affected, "What did you do to me" Tyrone started and they went on back and forth.

Tandy suddenly going quiet and looking to Ty and a memory played in her head "Wait are you that Kid?" Pausing to make sure she was right "The one from the beach?"

Ty looked shocked, unable to speak for a second as he looked at her "From after the storm?"

This only confirmed her theory, this was too weird and she couldn't handle it. "I got to go." Tandy spoke softly and turned. Ty about to grab her when they were both grabbed by another set of hands. Theo finally recovering from his shock and taking I've the situation.

"Not a smart idea man, you just touched and shit went boom." The tallest of the three Theo presence was enough to be jarring for the other two and freeze them in place.

"Who are yo-" Tyrone started to ask before Tandy interrupted "You, you're that Theo kid. The one waiting for us to wake up on the beach."

Theo looked from Ty; who they were about to answer, and focused on the local blonde "Guilty as charged, guessing your Tandy then. Nice to see you're doing alright after all these years"

They were gonna speak again but soon became encapsulated by something, the other two following his gaze. Both his Hands that were around each of their wrist had a Green glow to them. Less bright green and more of something that resembled the look and movement of the aurora borealis. Both the others seemed to be reacting as the light and shadows climbed slowly up theo's wrist.

Tandy's light began to get too bright, causing Theo to let go and both Them and Tyrone to cover their eyes as Tandy screamed.

When the light dimmed and they both looked, Tandy was nowhere to be seen.

Ty still looking at his hands Theo picked up a bag, knowing it wasn't his and that it didn't seem to belong to Tyrone. He held it up "Looks like she dropped her stuff."

Tyrone looked over and had a look of quick hope on his eye, snatching the bag from Theo who was a bit pissed off by the action. "Hey you shouldn't be looking through her shit."

The other boy not answering till he got what he was looking for "I can when she had my wallet in it"

Theo nodded understandingly "Still leave the rest of it here, no doubt she'll come back for it."

Tyrone looked almost reluctant but a look from Theo shut him up.

"Assuming you came from the party, let's get back. I'll give you a lift if you don’t have one." Able to tell neither one of them really wanted to be there any longer. Then they left.

Tandy finally letting out a heavy breathe once they were out of earshot. Hiding behind one of the tomb statues.

Picking up Ty's name as they walked back he pointed him towards the car and told him to wait. Then going to find Jayden.

Spotting the back of his head they snickered to themself quietly. Sneaking up behind him and putting their arm around his waist with a pull. The smaller boy yelped at the sudden action.

The group again laughed at the now slightly tipsy boys' expense. This time including Theo who probably laughed the hardest as Jayden slapped their arm which was still around his waist.

"Don't do that, prick!" Through tone of his voice it was evident he was more embarrassed than angry though.

"Yeah, yeah. Anyways we gotta go. I'm drained and have to give another friend a lift home before I drop you off. Plus I'm afraid I'll end up dead if I let you get more drinks before getting you home."

"Hey!" The younger spoke offended "It's not that noticeable." Which just earned a chuckle from Theo as they said goodbye to the others in the group. Some mouthing to them good luck once Jayden was turned around. Passing back a thank you before walking back to the car.

Theo unlocked the door, opening Jayden's and helping him into his seat before closing the door. Getting on his side and starting it up. "Jayden this is my new friend Tyrone, Tyrone this my friend Jayden"

Both boys said quiet hellos, apparently choosing now to be shy. The car ride was mostly a comfortable silence, a few words here and there between them when Ty asked about the car, or the whispered flirting from Jayden.

Dropping Tyrone off infront of his house he looked back at Tyrone and handed him a card. "Here, ignore all the business shit. That has my number on it. Maybe save it to your phone."

Tyrone looked unsure but nodded and then got out with a quick thanks and bye.

Theo then started the drive to take Jayden home. In which they spoke more freely, the younger more open now that it was just them.

Suddenly in the middle of the drive turning to Theo with a sparky look which was only caught by the others peripheral.

"What's that look for Bubs?" The nickname always made Jayden blush, it's why they only use it in private. Not because they cared about saving him the embarrassment but because they wanted to be the only one to see the reaction.

Shaking of a stutter he answered "Well when you first introduced me to your new friend you hesitated when calling me your friend. You planning on getting rid of me?"

"Oh shut up!" Slapping his arm with the hand that wasn't on the wheel. "Not like I could If I wanted to. You'd just keep coming back, no matter how far i throw you"

"Admit it, you love me"

"You're not wrong about that" Theo spoke, body tensing when They realized what just slipped out.

"Wait what!" Jayden all but screamed, face now a bright red. Hiding his face in his sleeve covered hands.

"I-i mean, uhhh" Suddenly they went silent. Not making eye contact they only stole quick glances of Jayden. Who seemed dead in the other chair. The rest of the car ride was awkwardly silent, both seeming to avoid the obvious elephant.

The care stopped once they reached the house. No cars in the driveway showing they were the only ones around.

Jaden tried to open the door but it was still locked. Looking at Theo expectantly as They snapped out of it ushering a silent apology.

Not saying another word Jayden started to get out of the car but something snapped. Something holding Theo back, and suddenly they didn't care anymore. Grabbing the other by the shoulder they spun him around and before he even had to react their Lips were in his.

At first he showed shock but slowly Jayden melted into the kiss. Eye's closing as he felt the bliss of a hope come to fruition.

Pulling back from the kiss Theo began to breathe heavily, Jayden trying to catch his breath as they stared deep into eachothers eyes.

"I really don't know about love yet, but I do know that I really really like you and I want to move to the next step." Taking Jayden's hands in Their's "Officially"

"Official" The words seemed to sink in to Jaiden as his face began to heat up again "Like as in boyfriends. Boyfriends who hold hands, and go on dates, and kiss each other, and-" Theo kissed him again quickly.

"You were starting to spiral" The smile on his face showing only confidence was left in their Body.

"Please only shut me up like that from now on" This gained a hard laugh from Theo but you could see on Jayden's face he wasn't joking.

"So does that mean?" Theo asked, stretching out the sound of the n which gained a small giggle from Jayden.

"Of course it does, thought it was obvious by now. I'd love to be your boyfriend" The blush spread on his face, still very evident at that moment. Gaining a soft but bright smile from Theo.

"Great, now I can do this freely" Theo's lips latched onto Jayden's again but this kiss was a lot more passionate and deeper. They started full blown making out with Theo pushing his seat back and Jayden straddling his lap.

"Do you trust me?" Theo asked and Jayden nodded. Theo then lifted Jaden and put him gently into the backseat, climbing back there after. "Let me show you a new world then.

~

The scene pans down until it lands on a different location. Switching from the scene of Jayden's Suv to Liam's truck.

The couple inside seeming to have just finished what the other one had started. Tandy getting off of Liam and sitting to the side both panting heavily.

Tandy looked absent mindedly at her hand trying to file the same feeling she felt tonight, but nothing happened. No light leaped from her hand as it had earlier.

Tandy starts a conversation on Liam's beliefs not knowing what to believe herself at this point. Almost telling him of what happened until she stopped. He couldn't know, what would he think of her. It was too risky.

~

Tyrone had just been dropped off, slipping the business card down in his pocket he noticed it was pretty late and was quiet entering the house.

As he thought his folks had been asleep, closing the door quietly he snuck upstairs and into his room where he let out a huge sigh of relief. Leaning against the door for a few minutes as he contemplated everything that went down that night. Looking down at his hand trying for anything before giving up.

Getting undressed quickly he hopped into bed in a tired manner. Grabbing his cover which had fallen to the side and wrapping it completely over himself. Letting it envelop him.

-

The confusion Tyrone felt when he woke up and his bed suddenly felt like hard rock. Looking down though he would find he wasn't in bed, moreso he wasn't even at home.

On the top of a many storey Roxxon building. How the fuck did he even get there.

Finding the entrance to the stairs he made his way down, opening the exit door and about to leave when he spotted the man who haunted his dreams. The man who he hated the most in the world. The cop who shot Billy. He was on the phone talking of some deal

~

Tandy that morning had made it home that morning. Checking her stock in the bag at her house until her mother called out for her. Putting her in a panic which led her to cut herself.

When she did make it out of the bathroom she found her mother in the kitchen. Drinking already early in the morning, dressed in a uniform like she was on her way to or just got off work.

Finding out her mom had quit yet another job thanks to another "asshole manager." She's had it up to here with this woman.

Her mom started to bring up some new asshole boyfriend Tandy had no interest in. They were all the same, used her mom for body, and claimed to help them just to sleep with her. She certainly had a way of picking em.

Seeing the bandage around her hand her mom began to get worried and grabbed her. Transporting Tandy somewhere else.

A vision, a memory, a dream, she wasn't really sure. But she knew it wasn't reality. Watching her mom help a young her get ready for ballet class. The studio was as bright and white as it had ever been.

She never could tie those shoes correctly in the early days of her classes.

It was almost like she was seeing a different person though. This version of her mother hadn't been around a large sum of years.

Then looking up stood her father, back from.the dead apparently. Or maybe never dead in this vision. Happy as ever with his wife and daughter.

It confused Tandy so much but also brought closer to tears than anything had recently.

When letting go of her mom she was brought back to reality, apparently the only one of the two to see the situation.

~

Theo woke up, the air smelling of nothing but love or at least that's how they interpreted. To say last night was fuzzy would be an understatement but it was also vibrant as ever. There was something resting against their chest and weight being held by their arms.

Looking down they could see Jayden, sound asleep, laying right there with them. Looking more peaceful in his sleep than they'd ever seen him.

Everything came flooding back at once, after what happened in the car; while they were both trying to catch some air, Jayden texted his parents saying he was staying at a friend's place. They didn't question just saying be safe.

It wouldn't hurt them not to know this friend lived alone or wasn't just a friend.

The energy between was buzzing so much he could barely get the door open without having their hands all over Jayden.

It's a wonder how they made it upstairs.

If you asked Theo they'd tell you it was magical? Everything they'd hoped for.

In the midst of their thinking they missed the fact Jayden had woken up until the younger was staring them in the face while stroking theirs.

"Morning Bubs" They spoke softly as they snapped back to reality. The lip quirking up in a small smile.

"Morning luv" He replied, nuzzling his face into Theo's chest.

"Hope last night was as good for you as it was me." This brought a giggle out from Jayden, who perked his head and landed a fresh kiss on Theo. Theo's hand making contact with his where it sat caressing their face.

The feeling was instant, no longer no longer in his bed on the 3 floor of his loft. He now stood up in an area with a familiar aura, definitely in the dimension of the lwa. But they didn't call for this. It was strange, no Lwa seemed present.

Looking up he saw something that made their heart flutter. Jayden in a room full of their latest projects. The room had many pictures of them both taken and drawn. (See Jayden is an art student but also dabbles in the sciences of baking.)

They'd seem to be some kind of muse for him at the time. The room was filled with a happy and passionate energy. Calm and reassuring under the wafting green light that held the undertone of the room.

Each painting and picture held some moment of them together, some past, one or two present, and some that seemed to encompass a future time.

Pulling back from the kiss Theo smiled breathlessly looking into Jayden's eyes with helpless adoration. "Does that answer your question?" The boy asked, gaining slow and dazed head nod from Theo which cause him to laugh.

-

Later that day Tyrone sat up in his room, now that he knew Connors was real and had his name, he was gonna do everything in his power to avenge Billy.

His search stopped when his mom burst in the room and started to go off at him about his recent behavior. Missing school that day, the fight, claiming he's gotten drunk somewhere.

He informed her he went to a party and that's why his jacket had smelled of beer. Not that he had bought any.

In turn Tyrone starts to go off at his mom, I forming her of all three pressure he's been under by her and his dad. The pressure he was finally cracking under. The conversation goes heartfelt after that.

Losing him would be the worst thing in her life right now and she only wants what's best for him.

~

Tandy finds herself at a ballet performance. If she couldn't sell the tickets she might as well use em.

Seeing her seat was in between a bunch of strangers and she was alone she elected for another option. Something that could be considered the best seats in the house.

The catwalk up above the stage gave the best view she would probably ever get of the performance. Entranced as she hung safely draping herself through the bars.

She missed ballet, dance had always been her dream. If things had gone differently that coulda been her up on that stage right now. But for now above it was fine.

~

Today Theo was off of work but that did mean taking care of side hustles they had going on whenever they had the time. Like now running through the private room of a local club, giving fortune readings to whoever caught word and dropped by.

Now Theo was an honest businessman, especially when it came to including their practices. So every fortune given was as accurate and foretelling as they could get.

It just so happens that sometimes not everyone is 100 percent satisfied with the outcomes of their fortune. Now worse case scenario before today as the client would start yelling at Theo before he would shut them up.

Today however they weren't expecting a gang to populate the room at the cry of anger from who seemed to be their boss. Who kind mind you, seemed like he could handle his own.

Now with their back against the wall encircled by the group a smaller guy walks out of the group taking the head. "Well well well, when I heard someone was giving fortunes on my turf I thought, "Well no one is stupid enough" guess I was wrong"

Stepping up to Theo "Now I don't know if you know me, but as far as I know only reading in this joint comes from my hands. Understand?"

Theo kept a calm face while the guy was up in theirs "Listen pip squeak, I'm not gonna let some scam artists tell me where either can and can't do my business. So why don't you get on out of here"

"You think you're all tough then?" Snapping his fingers, the guy called "Thomas." Around the group came a big guy who had to be at least 7 feet and built with muscle. "Teach this dude what happens when messes with us"

Theo got into a fighting stance as the guy cracked his knuckles, watching the guy start his swing they got ready to dodge but he moved faster than expected. Hands in front of their face in block as their eyes closed they waited for the impact.

But it never came.

Opening their eyes they let out a gasp of surprise. Right in front of them the guy was still mid punch but seemed frozen. No reactions, No breaths, only indication he was moving was the fist inching ever so closer to Theo's face.

Looking around the rest of the guys were in the same position. Looking down at their hand's Theo saw that same glow from yesterday now as an aura over their body.

Not wasting this chance they took the time to move out of the way of the guys fist, grabbing all their stuff and exiting the room. The second the door shut time seemed to catch up with them and a loud crash was heard in the room behind them.

Theo knew better than to stick around and find out.

Tandy leaving the show started walking thinking it was gonna be a peaceful stroll back to the church. That was when she was called by a guy behind her, rolling her eyes when she saw it had been the guy she robbed the other night.

About to say something when she was suddenly backed into another two guys. Confused on what was happening she was going to speak when she was grabbed and dragged into an alley.

There proceeded some of the worst minutes of her life, it felt like an eternity. Struggling for her life but she couldn't overpower him as much as she tried.

The sick thing he whispered in her ear only made it worse as he attacked her neck, tears rolling down her cheeks as the heat in her body rose.

Then he backed off, looking pained and choked as if he couldn't breathe. Falling to the ground unconscious. Tandy caught her breath, happiest she's been in awhile that it was all over, that was until she looked down at her hand.

A crystal looking object covered in the boy's blood brought a terrified look to her face.

Tyrone had been doing research on Connors for hours at that point, coming up with next to nothing when he decided to go to bed out of frustration. Laying his head into his pillow and knocking out for the night.

Or at least he thought, not long later he was up again. Springing awake as he realized he wasn't in his bed anymore.

Currently in a random trunk of which he didn't know who it belonged to. Assuming the situation quickly as the car came to a stop.

When the trunk opened he had no time to think, blinding the supposed kidnapper and running for his life

The identity of Connors became very apparent throughout the chase as they began to banter back and forth, Tyrone more scared than anything.

At some point Tyrone managed to touch em and was dragged away into a strange scenario. A spectator in what seemed like his own life as he was again watching the night Billy died but the memory didn't feel like his.

The aftermath and nerves of Connors striking through and showing that he was afraid of the repercussions.

After separating Tyrone jumped under a tarp and suddenly ended up right back in his room. Tarp in tow as he looked around confused.
