Summary
Sue and Reed had just had a baby boy, but had a very difficult time choosing a name, but after certain events, the boy's name becomes clear.

Sue and Reed had always wanted to start a family of their own. It was their dream and they were practically willing to do anything, they just wanted it to come true so badly. And it did, they now had a small new addition to the Fantastic Four family! They were very prepared, they hired someone who would leave him when they had to go to a mission, his godparents, where they would buy his clothing and food. They had just one small problem. Okay, actually, I guess it’s a pretty big one.

Sue and Reed could NOT decide on a name and it drove them absolutely insane. It also probably didn’t help that Johnny and Ben kept on calling their child TBD (short for “to be determined”). They had been reluctant to tell the public that they had a child mainly for this reason. They knew that they would end up being bashed by critics for not having a name for their own child. On top of that, Sue and Reed have been arguing constantly over what they should name him.

“Oh, c’mon, Sue. What’s wrong with the name Grayson?” Reed groans.

“I don’t like how it sounds, Grayson Richards-Storm, see it just sounds weird.” Sue argues. “I still think William is a better name. William Richards-Storm, doesn’t that sound better?”

Johnny chuckles as he walks by, “You should guys name little TBD Johnathan, you know, so you call him Johnny.”

“Shut-up, Johnny!” Sue and Reed yell.

“Alright, jeez,” Johnny says sarcastically.

“Also, stop calling him TBD!” Reed shouts in an annoyed voice as Johnny walks out the room.

Johnny and Ben had been pretty used to Sue and Reed’s quarrels since the baby was born, to be honest, they thought nothing of it anymore since they knew it would be over soon. If they ever happen to choose a name. Johnny sits next to Ben as he’s watching the news on the couch.

“They still at it?” Ben asks.

“You know it.” Johnny says. “They’ll figure it out soon enough.”

“You're old enough to drink, right?” Ben asks, handing Johnny a bottle of beer.

“You’re joking, right?” Johnny replies.

Ben just stares at him, implying he isn’t.

“Of course I am, you idiotic pebble.” Johnny says as he snatches the bottle from Ben’s hands.

Hours pass and Johnny along with Ben are completely wasted. Apparently, they are not in fact used to Reed and Sue arguing all the time. Which makes sense, it’s normal to be caught off guard to such a happy couple arguing like this all the time and with a kid.

“Guys!” Reed yells walking into the room Johnny and Ben are in with Sue following behind. “There’s a crisis in the-... Are you guys drunk?”

“O~of course we are~” Johnny says, slurring almost every word.

“It’s like one in the afternoon.” Reed says. “Whatever, there’s a crisis in the city. Get ready, I'll give you a juice that will sober you guys up quickly, be right back”

Johnny and Ben quickly drink the juice and surprisingly, they become fully sober in a matter of seconds.

They all get to the roof and Ben, Reed and Sue get into the fantasticar as Johnny flames on while jumping off the roof. It might just be the alcohol still wearing off, but as they all get closer and closer to the fight Johnny gets an odd feeling in his stomach that something bad is about to happen. Maybe, Reed’s juice isn’t that good afterall.

They could begin to see a bunch of people running and screaming or taking videos of a bunch of people with giant shiny metal armory attacking others with deadly weapons as police try to stop them. They fly down and get out of the fantasticar to be greeted by a police sergeant who catches them up on the situation and mentions that the bullets the people are using are made out of a metal called vibranium. Just then, Ben remembers seeing on the news that a country called Wakanda was known for having a lot of this vibranium and people often tried to steal some for illegal doings, like this. This vibranium metal was indestructible as said by the news and by the police sergeant, so that makes the situation a whole lot more complicated for the group of heroes than before.

The group makes their way into the fight and Johnny yells “Flame on!” and begins trying to take out as much enemies as he can in one swoop, but doesn’t exactly go as planned since the heat from his body can’t melt the metal as per usual, but he manages to knock some of them out, so it works, kind of.

Reed picks one of them up with each hand and what has the equal strength of the strongest thing in the world? Itself. He uses both of their armours to destroy the other ones by repeatedly smashing them into each other repeatedly. Of course it’s Reed who’s able to figure out how to destroy vibranium before all of them, he is one of the smartest people in the world. When it’s done he smashes them into the ground with tremendous force. If smashing them together didn’t knockout or even kill them, then this definitely did.

Sue uses her husband’s discovery and uses her force fields to forcefully shove multiple of them into each other at the same time and it works like a charm because almost all of them fall unconscious from the amount of pressure from the hits. If they don’t then they’re definitely not coming back into the fight any time soon. She maintains this fighting style while still remaining invisible. Hence, no one can attack her if no one knows she’s there.

Ben pretty much does the same thing as Reed and smashes two or more of them together until their armor breaks and smashes them into the ground. Except, it probably has a higher chance of killing them, rather than when Reed does it.

Sue ends up getting caught in the gunfire and loses focus as she gets out of the way and turns visible. Before she knows it, a group of around 10 people in armor start rushing towards her. Luckily, she was able to crush them all with her force fields.

“Sue, watch out.” Reed yells as a person in armor comes out from behind Sue and knocks her unconscious.

Reed catches her using his stretchy arms and holds her while she's still asleep. He feels deja vu, since this isn’t the first time he held her still body on the floor of a battlefield. At least this time she’s not dead. At this point, the Fantastic Four have taken out approximately 2/’3s of the armored men’s troops which leaves less than 15 left. If Johnny and Ben keep going at the rate they’re going, then they’ll be done really soon, so Reed can just stay and protect Sue while they keep fighting. At Least he thought he could.

Suddenly, a tank being operated by an armored man comes out onto the streets where the fighting is taking place. At this moment, Sue and Reed are the most vulnerable ones in the field. So obviously, it targets them. As the head of the tank turns towards them Reed turns his back to the tank, shielding Sue preparing to let himself die for her. Sue begins to regain consciousness and realize what’s happening. Reed smiles at her and whispers “I love you.” to her.

The tank shoots.

The gunfire lasted for about 30 seconds, yet Reed felt nothing. He was confused as hell. Was he not hit? Or does dying just not hurt?

“Johnny?” Sue says, voice breaking.

Reed and Ben look to see Johnny on fire standing in between Reed and Sue and the tank. Oh shit. The weapons including the bullets are vibranium aren’t they? Can’t they withstand Johnny’s temperature? Answer: Yes, yes they can.

Johnny’s flame goes out and he falls to the ground with a gashing bullet wound to his side. And all of the fighting stops, so they can see all this go down.

“Johnny!” Sue yells, finally coming to her own feet and runs to her brother with Reed behind her.

Reed flips Johnny over, so his face is facing the sky. There is a nasty bullet that looks like had hit his kidney.

“You idiot!” Sue screamed. “Why would you do this?”

“S-sorry, “ Johnny says, “but I can’t let little TBD lose his parents, can I?”

Johnny smiles at his sister and she smiles back while holding his hand. After a few seconds, he falls unconscious.

Reed puts two fingers on Johnny’s neck, checking for a pulse. “Oh, crap.” he exclaims.

“Johnny, wake up.” Sue demands as a river of tears falls from her eyes. “Johnny, wake up, please!” Reed pulls Sue into a hug as she cries and cries.

Ben’s face fills up with rage and anger. He begins to yell and starts completely murdering every armored man there. One by one, they all gruesome deaths and all for one kid. They're screaming and begging for their lives to be spared, but Ben doesn’t care. These people just killed his friend and he wasn’t going to stop until they paid. And they did. Every last one of them was killed.

It soon became quiet, there were no gunshots or sounds of weapons clashing, there was only Sue crying for her brother who sacrificed his life for hers and her husbands.

Weeks pass and Sue and Reed make their first appearance to the public for a while.

“So,” the reporter asks, “Aside from the Human Torch’s tragic death, what’s new?”

“Well, our baby was born a few weeks ago, but we couldn’t show him to the public for a silly reason, I'm afraid.” Sue says

“And what’s his name?” The reporter asks.

“His name? We couldn’t decide on a name, that's actually the reason we couldn’t announce him yet.” Sue chuckles “But we have one now. Meet JJ, short for Johnny junior.”
