Tony went back to his lab and as he did he didn't forget to swear a few dozen times
"I hope he doesn't come back from this mission... oh better I hope he comes back wounded... No better I hope he comes back unhurt so I can kill him"
He let out a cry of frustration
"Sir, may I remind you that the last time you had a fight with Mr Rogers..."
Jarvi's voice was abruptly cut short by Tony's annoyed sigh
"we have no argument jarvis, Steve is just a stupid naive idiot and unfortunately I owe it, to unfortunate circumstances that this idiot lives in my tower"
Tony walked along his wine shelf and took out a bottle as he walked, opened it and drank straight from it
"... May I remind you that you said, should you ever..."
The AI tried to find other words
"having an argument with Mr. Rogers... That I should stop you from getting drunk again"
Tony sighed and placed the now half-empty bottle on the table
"Jarvis... I need my peace go and... I don't know either, flirt with some programs or what do I know"
He sighed
"please..."
He added a little more gently and the AI fell silent.
Tony went to his sofa and flopped down on it, he hated it, everything... He and Steve had a nice morning well at least Tony woke up feeling good Steve... Looked a bit drained and staggered a bit getting up what Tony grin.
While Tony was preparing breakfast, it took Steve an unusually long time which made the brown-haired one raise an eyebrow and head back to his bedroom

"Don't do that Tony" Steve seemed visibly annoyed...and held up his phone
"I have to help someone... It won't take long"
Tony thought for a moment and then rolled his eyes
"You can't be serious, we took an extra 2 days off so we could have time for ourselves, damn it"
Steve put both arms around the older one
"Hey... I'll be back before you know it and then we'll catch up on this ok?"
He kissed Tony gently on his forehead and left without Tony being able to reply.
So much for his beautiful morning. Lost in his thoughts, he didn't hear his cell phone ring before Jarvi's voice came through
"Sir Excuse me but it's from Mr. Fury you should take it"
Tony ran a hand through his hair annoyed and looked up
"What? What exactly did I do this time to deserve this shit?"
He picked up the cell phone and answered it
"always nice to be disturbed"...
Annoyed, Tony sighed into the phone
"stark." Fury's voice sounded... Unusually serious
"Meet me in 10 minutes"
Before he hung up, leaving a puzzled Tony staring at his phone.
"Jarvis are there any incidents I should know about? How bad is the earth in shit again?"
"sir there are no extraordinary activities"
That surprised Tony even more, why else would fury want to see him?
He grabbed his jacket and his car keys and decided to find out.
Shortly after he got to him he saw from fury's greeting that something wasn't right... Something wasn't right at all...
"stark... . Good that you could come so quickly"
Tony shook his hand
"Why the rush?"
He looked at him questioningly when fury invited him in, both sat opposite at a table when fury gave him a folder
THE TRUTH BEHIND STEVE ROGERS
Preliminary report
Tony accepted the folder and looked fury confused as he read it
"Is that a joke or what?"
"I wish I could confirm that strongly... I'm sorry... This was beyond my knowledge... I just got this report back 2 hours ago"

Rogers dont know any of this, we found out that rogers gets calls, all the time, and when he answers, a beep will sound or a special word will be said and he'll pass on every detail they want to know, once they have all the information they'll get a new one signalor word and rogers is brought back to his normal self....stark..they made him to be with you also... I'm sorry to say it but this love isn't real"
Fury looked into Tony's still confused eyes and tried to explain it to him as easily as possible, knowing how much this relationship with Rogers meants to the other one.
"what... what the hell do you mean by...
He's being forced to love me?"
Fury leaned forward
"stark.. We have bigger problems than that.. He is a danger to all of us"
Tony sighed and picked up the folder
"I talk to him"
He stood up and Fury put a hand on his shoulder
"Tony... Talking won't help we have to"
Tony shook his hand off his shoulder.
"I said I TALK TO HIM"
He left Fury without another word and drove back to the tower.
None of this made any sense.
He lit a cigarette and thought as he floored the accelerator.
The calls came to mind.. Steve's odd behavior now and then...

When he got home he took a glass of whiskey and sat down on the sofa in the lobby and studied the folder
"jarvis.. I want everything... every single minute of rogers on my screen for.." he thought for a second "show me the past 2 weeks"
Ahead of him appeared blue holograms and Steve.. As captured by the security cameras in the tower... Tony was about to sip from his glass as he faltered
"Jarvis still on this one". He watches Steve.
"and with every other one where he takes calls too"
He zoomed in closer..
Each time he saw how Steve's face changed when he answered the call and when he hung up
"I need the audio from every single one of these recordings"
Jarvis speaked out of nowhere
"sir I have to remind you that you turned off this feature yourself 3 weeks ago when you were talking to mr.rogers..."
Tony shake hands soothingly...
He remembered the day he and Steve first landed in bed
"fuck..."
He turned the sound off and wanted to turn it back on later but just forgot it.
He picked up the folder and studied it.
"what.. did they do to you steve..."
He leafed through until he suddenly read something and put down his glass.

The words swam before his eyes... It listed exactly how Steve was to flirt with Tony as he did... Tony covered his mouth with a hand and closed his eyes... He suddenly felt nauseous and needed a minute to collect yourself.
"jarvis... places steve i want to know exactly where he is now".
When after a while there was no answer, Tony got up
"jarvis?"
"sir I don't know exactly how to tell you but... I can't locate Mr. Rogers".
Tony went to his table and opened several taps
"What do you mean you can't find him?!"
He tried to locate it himself but... No matter what he did... He couldn't be found...
After a while he picked up the cell phone and called fury..
"his last mission where should he go?"..
"stark... Rogers didn't get a mission from me"
Tony hung up without saying anything else and looked at the empty taps spread out in front of him, showing only landscapes.
"where the hell are you Steve?!!!"
