ALBUS DUMBLEDORE’S FILES
MOEFY TRANSFORMATIONS P4
Hagrid, is a good friend, I trust him with my life but he can get overboard when it comes to his ‘beasties’. Big on heart, but fuzzy in the head. But he showed himself surprisingly adept with the spell that transformed no less then five of his dearest creatures in his new daughters. And at least I get a good research paper out of it.
FLUFFY THE THREE-HEADED DOG
Originally a three-headed dog we got because we needed it to protect the Philospher’s stone. I had returned it to Greece where it came from afterwards, but Hagrid somehow got her back and transformed her.
Classification: For now I have dubbed her ‘Threeheaded Canine Therianthrope’.
Biology: Appears as a giant human with dog traits and still her signature three heads.
Diet: While now omnivore and able to eat all human foods, even things like chocolate which is no longer poisonous, she still likes to stick with meats.
Abilities: Her size makes her incredibly durable and strong. Very magic resistant, hence makes a good guard dog. A lot faster then her size may also suggest. Incredible hearing and sense of smell.
Her three heads also gives her near 360 degrees of sight.
Intelligence: Despite her size, she acts like an excited puppy and seems to act very young. She is not stupid, she is just younger then we believed and is still growing and learning.
Magic: In theory she could use magic now if we gave her a wand but for now she is a bit too rambunctious.
Weaknesses: Still is vulnerable to music. Hearing music makes her drowsy. Also like all canines she is colorblind.
Personality: I don’t know if it is the transformation or the fact she is not cooped up in a single room but she acts like an excited puppy, playful and loving. She is good with kids and loves bellyrubs and treats. She doesn’t know her own strength sometimes but she is a good girl.
NORBERTA ‘NORA’ THE NORWEGIAN RIDGEBACK
Originally a dragon egg that was given to him by Voldemort trying to get information out of him. Originally known as Robert before her true gender was discovered, she was shipped off to the Romanian Dragon reserve. Hagrid was somehow able to obtain her again and transform her.
Classification: Norwegian Ridgeback Dragomorph.
Biology: Much like Maria, while more humanoid is physically very much dragon.
Diet: Like Maria, while she ignores humans, pets and familiars to eat, she prefers meats; As Norwegian Ridgebacks tend to eat water creatures as well she loves seafood. I’ve seen her guzzle down tons of bouillabaisse and if I’m correct, the Grindylows may not be a problem anymore by the time of the Second Task.
Abilities: While not fully grown like Maria she still has the proportionate strength, size, durability and endurance of a dragon, plus the fire breath and ability to fly. Due to being a Ridgeback, she can also swim and even go underwater for short amounts of time.
Intelligence: Even though she is a novice in Hogwarts curriculum she is very intelligent. She has a knack for poetry and a way to verbally tear someone down. Just ask Bagman.
Magic: Like Maria, since her body is a wandcore, she only would need a focus tool to channel magic.
Weaknesses: Like Maria she has little weaknesses. The fact she is not fully grown makes her more vulnerable, but not that vulnerable.
Personality: She is acting like a moody, cynical and stark teen. She is of few words but when she speaks it is often snarky or annoyed. She cares for her father figure Hagrid but feels embarrassed by him showing a bit too much affection.
ARI THE ACROMANTULA
After Nom-Nom’s eating binge, having devoured the entire Acromantula herd in the forest, only a single egg Survived. Which Hagrid took and used the magic transformation upon.
Classification: A new subspecies of dridder I have dubbed Acromantula Arachnamoprh Dridder.
Biology: Despite her human-like form she is covered in spider fuzz, has eight eyes and fangs and four spider-legs sticking from her back.
Diet: Despite being an Acromantula, she is now closer to a toddler and cannot eat solid foods, and subsides on milk and mashed foods. She still seems to like it when bugs are mixed in with her food.
Abilities: Yet unknown as she’s young, but probably able to produce venom and silk. The strength still has to be determined. She has shown to be able to climb up any walls no problem.
Intelligence: Her mind is comparable to that of a one year old toddler.
Magic: I suspect that like the others she one day may be able to use a wand, but she is too young to test that out.
Weaknesses: Since she is still small and far from fully grown, she is still very vulnerable. What she’s not weak to would be a shorter list.
Personality: She is still a toddler so her personality needs to develop. But she acts really sweet so far, curious and excitable and clearly is able to show affection to Hagrid and her sisters.
BUCKBEAK THE HIPPOGRYFF
Classification: A new subspecies of Harpy that can be considered a rare hybrid with horse therianthropes like Porlocks.
Biology: Biology is harpy-like for most of the body, though the legs and tail are clearly horse-shaped.
Diet: Omnivore. She can still lean to her original species diet but she is more willing to try out human foods. While she still loves to eat ferrets, she also has taken a liking to salmon and chocolate fudge.
Abilities: Like all hippogriffs she is capable of flight, and is very skilled a flier. She has strong claws that her hooves can deliver bone-breaking kicks. She has incredibly sharp eyesight and a good sense of smell.
Intelligence: Despite not having knowledge of any magical curriculum, is quite intelligent. Has shown to have gained knowledge of a few countries and tourist sides due to traveling with Sirius.
Magic: While we haven’t tried yet, she probably would be able to do spells if given a wand.
Weaknesses: She is not as durable as the rest in her batch, aside from Ari. Though Ari when grown up may develop her natural species’ durability. She is also prideful and doesn’t take offense well even if she is not violet about it.
Personality: She has taken on the role of surrogate sister to the other transformed under Hagrid. She is sweet and motherly, but she can be prideful. She can also be a bit vain, apparently loving her new appearance that turns heads and draw attention.
SKREWTI THE BLAST-ENDED SKREWT
Classification: Due the Skrewts’ hybrid nature, we barely could classify it. Right now we cannot be more precise then ‘therianthrope’ but a further classification needs to be worked out.
Biology: Body seems of a human preteen, with traits of a lion, some traits from arachnids like scorpions and that of firecrabs, knowing she is a hybrid of a Manticore and Firecrab.
Diet: She can eat human food, but prefers meat. At least unlike Manticore she doesn’t eat humans. Though since she is the last Skrewt we don’t know if she would stop eating her non-sentient brethren. Though she enjoys some non-meat products, like dairy products.
Abilities: She isn’t fully grown but she is developing the natural strength and durability, not to mention magical resistance of a manticore.
She has a strong venom in her tail which may become deadly upon fully grown so she has to learn how to control that to avoid hurting people.
The firecrab armor she is sporting is also very durable so she may be one of the most durable transformations overall. While they’re still small, she starts to grow gemstones like Firecrabs. She also can shoot fire from her…Backside like firecrabs.
Intelligence: She is still young and may have the intelligence of a pre-Hogwarts student.
Magic: Most likely will be able to use a wand.
Weaknesses: As a normal Skrewt, she and her species had a deficiency where they need large amounts of calcium. And the only source that had enough were their fellow Skrewts, hence they felt like eating one another. However, her transformation has somewhat stabilized it and she doesn’t need to cannibalize her species…if there was any left. Now she just needs some dairy products like cheese or milk in large enough amounts to make up. It may explain why she gravitates towards dairy products so much.
Otherwise, due to being composed of two of the most durable magical beasts, there would be little but the strongest magical spells that would be able to harm her when fully grown.
