Peter knew it was wrong to sulk, he knew that Gwen would’ve wanted him to move on and live a happy life. Without her Peter didn’t know what he should do, he sighed as he lay on his ceiling. He’d finished an essay for one of his classes and knew he had other assignments from other classes but didn't want to do them. He heard a knocking on his door and instantly fell to his bed, he flew a web at a button and the door unlocked.

“Yes?”

“I’m coming in.” His aunt May said and when she walked in she smiled at him.

“Just wanted to tell you I was going out right now. Actually come with me.”

He sighs and glares at the wall behind her rolling to his side. “I’m lazy.”

“That’s why I wasn’t asking, come on get off your butt!” She says playfully poking at him and he sighs finally standing from his bed.

“Let’s go.” Peter says knowing he can’t fight against his aunt May.

They walk outside together then they go into the car and she starts driving, playing some music so that it’s not too quiet.

“Where are we going anyways?”

“We’re going to help some people, we used to go there when you were younger and you loved it. That’s where you met your old friend Frankie.” When May says that Peter remembers and stares out the window wondering where his friend had gone.

“What happened to him?”

“His parents found him, he’s probably at home now.” A sigh leaves her mouth as she speaks, then she looks back to the road before finding a parking space. “You remember all the rules right?”

He nods his head then they leave the car and head to the large building, May signs them in as Peter looks around.

“I’ve signed us up for what was left.”

“What’s left?”

May goes quiet with a slight smile then shrugs her shoulders. “I’m just gonna go to the kitchen and you’re going to tutor some kids and help them..”

Sighing Peter nods his head knowing that he shouldn’t argue with her then she gives him a sticker to wear and a map showing him where to go. When he gets there he watches as some teens and adults talk with each other writing on paper or typing on computers. He walks around then sighs before he feels a hand on his shoulder and he turns around taking a deep breath.

“Sorry, I need some help with folding some of… these… blankets…”

Peter looks at the man in front of him confused before he looks down at the sticker then back to the man in front of him.

“Your… Peter Parker, sorry May talks about you she’s very proud of you. But I need help with folding these blankets over here, everyone washed ‘em but never folded them.” The man says with a chuckle.

“I’m (m/n) by the way.” He says taking his hand out.

They shake hands. “Sure and thanks?” Peter shrugs his shoulders and (m/n) smiles at him before having Peter follow him to the laundry room.

“Do you work here often?”

“Yeah, I work here a lot. I haven't seen you here before.”

“Aunt May brought me here when I was younger but I haven’t been back since.”

(m/n) nods his head and sighs smiling as he folds a blanket. “Why’d she bring you here, if you don’t mind me asking.”

“I don’t mind, um she wanted me to help since I was just at home. What about you?”

“Well, I live here actually.”

Peter stares at (m/n) a little surprised but quickly stops and continues to fold the blankets.

“Hey, (m/n) there you are. I was looking for you, I wanted to give this to you.” May says appearing out of thin air.

“Thanks May.”

She hands him something in a bag and when he opens it he smiles more.

“The offer still stands.”

“No, that's alright ma’am.”

“What offer?”

Before (m/n) could say anything May spoke. “I told him he could stay over since he has been here for so long and he should stay at a home at least temporarily.”

“No it’s-”

“I’d be fine with that.”

(m/n) stares at Peter confused and May only smiles. “Then it’s official you’re staying with us.”

With that (m/n) was sent away to pack and when he finished he walked to the car with Peter and May. Once at the house May has (m/n) sleep in Peter’s room and May makes dinner as the two young adults talk to each other.

“Why’re you letting me stay here? I’m thankful, but I don’t get it I understand May’s feelings on it but not yours.”

Peter sighs and stops typing his essay staring at it before looking at (m/n). “I want to help you even if I don’t know you and sometimes I’m out late, I would rather not have May alone.”

(m/n) nods his head and May calls them for dinner then they rush downstairs to get the dinner room. After eating Peter and (m/n) leave for bed then while May sleeps Peter stands up grabbing his suit then he walks into the bathroom. He decided he didn’t want to change out in the cold where someone might see him changing in his spider suit. When he finishes he leaves through the window carefully then swings out to the city and smiles as he feels the wind rush by him.

As Spider-man swings around his city he smiles then stops on top of a building looking over the top waiting for crime. There wasn’t much crime but he did notice something different, that other vigilante he had met wasn’t in the city. Spider-man got a couple of bankers and drunks but nothing too bad then he went home after getting a hotdog. Once at the house he changed and fell asleep as soon as he got to his bed.

When he woke up he heard Aunt May saying something about her leaving for work and he sighs sitting up from his bed.

“Get those grippers off of me.” When (m/n) says that Peter almost jumps but remembers that (m/n) was there.

“You fucking scared me.” Peter says as he sits on his bed criss crossed.

(m/n) sits up and stretches as he yawns, Peter’s eyes travel down and he sees that (m/n) had pecs!? He instantly looks away with a light blush on his face, he forgot about his bi-boy problems and he heard (m/n) stand up. Walking to his bag (m/n) bends down and he grabs an outfit to wear then turns around looking at Peter confused.

“Do you… wanna get some coffee and a churro?”

Peter stands up when he says coffee and (m/n) takes that as a yes then he leaves to change in the bathroom. When (m/n) walks out he was wearing a blue shirt with a tiny embroidered rat on it, black baggy pants, and some green shoes. He had his hair put up in a messy bun and he was wearing brown glasses, the man looked hot to Peter. But he knew it was just that (m/n) looked attractive. (m/n) and Peter walked into the bathroom to brush their teeth then they put their shoes on.

“Where do you get your coffee and churros?”

“Just a bus away, but there’s another shortcut, you’re gonna have to show me you’re a super spy though.” (m/n) says with a chuckle as they walk out of the door and Peter smiles at how childish he sounds.

Peter follows (m/n) then they stop at a couple of gated houses and (m/n) turns to Peter with a smile. “We have to be quiet because if we don’t they’re going to yell at us.”

(m/n) jumps over the gate and he smiles walking carefully. He turns to look at Peter and Peter smiles doing the same as (m/n). When they both get over the other fence they laugh at each other and walk into a small cafe with a calm ambiance. They both order and sit at a table eating their breakfast and drinking his coffee with a smile on their faces as they talk.

“You were bullied by him! He looks like a dollar tree Eminem. What a dumb name too.”

He shakes his head with a smile. “Yeah, it’s alright though after some time he sort of chilled out.”

Humming in disagreement (m/n) takes a sip of his coffee before talking again. “After years of bullying I forgive them but I still can’t stand them. I gladly don't see them around here anymore.”

“We should get going. I have to make dinner since May won’t be back until later.”

They both stand up once they finish their food and drink all their coffee then they walk back home. Once they get to the house (m/n) washes the dishes as Peter cleans around the house then Peter starts making the dinner. Only thing he didn’t tell (m/n) was that he wasn’t the best cook in the world.

“How did you set soup on fire?” (m/n) asks as he sprays the fire extinguisher at the soup on fire.

“I don’t know?” Peter is confused and interested in how he did it.

“That’s alright, I can cook something quick.” He says quickly putting the pot into the sink before getting some potatoes out.

And (m/n) indeed did make something quick, it made Peter smile. They both ate homemade fries and dino nuggets for dinner. They both watch some TV then they go to Peter’s room as Peter explains how he fixed some of the house’s things. When it seemed like (m/n) was asleep Peter left and went to protect his city but this time he did see that vigilante from before.

“Hey Spidey! Come on over here!” When he didn't, the other vigilante did.

“What are you doing here?”

“I thought we were a team along with little old DD, we’re the RED TEAM!!”

“That was one time Dead!” Annoyed Spider-man swings away and when he turns he sees Deadpool following him.

By the end of it he left back to the house and changed, then saw May going to her room to sleep and sighed thinking to himself. When he wakes up he sighs seeing (m/n) was awake and reading one of his college books.

“What are you doing?”

“Reading about physics.”

“Why?” Peter says tiredly before yawning.

“I got bored, May told me you’re going to school today and wanted me to register there since it’s open.”

Peter sighs then gets dressed seeing that (m/n) was already dressed. They both leave after they get coffee and go on the bus then they get some papers, Peter’s classes didn’t start yet so he helped (m/n). When they finished (m/n) waited for Peter to finish his classes before they got some lunch together then they went home. He finished his homework assignments and sighed happily then came to the kitchen seeing May and (m/n) making dinner.
