Telling her
Richie finally arrived to new york, one week passed since his discussion with his dad about freen and becky, he study their habits where they go and such and just like that three weeks passed.
The better option for him was to became friend with becky to try to get close to them, as he saw freen was very a close off person becky was more a social butterfly, he can’t wait to finally get close to his sister and learned to know her. He really pitied his father, the man did everything in his power to protect them and in return all he get was hate, but ultimately it doesn’t matter anymore the only thing that mattered is the safety of the two girls.
So he keep a close eye on them from afar for now.
The week was a busy week for freen and becky finally they found who was behind the attack Heidi brother the man hold a grudge against freen, but what freen doesn’t know that was the young man has a grudge also against becky, the younger girl was having a hard time she didn’t know how to tell the truth about herself to freen, she never tell her story even Charlotte didn’t know what went down during that time.
They carefully prepared their next step to catch him with the help of engfa and Heidi, it was complicated to find evidence on him since the man was extremely careful not to let any trace of his involvement in his shady business.
Charlotte and Engfa began to worked together, when Charlotte found out what was it all about she feel guilty cause she knows who they were searching and who they were against but pretend otherwise, in order to protect her cousin she will do anything even if it would ruin her reputation or the thing going between her and engfa, cause they have definitely something going on between them. Charlotte decided to not tell becky about it cause she can handle it, plus she didn’t want to worry the younger girl.
Engfa for her part was becoming paranoid she felt like someone was following her cousin and her fiancee but keep her suspicion to herself. She felt a connection with Charlotte the weeks passed together were refreshing for her she feel for once someone really gets her but something was holding her coworker back.
When Heidi found out it was her brother she was devastated, she really hoped that her brother would left this live behind himself, but apparently no he was too stubborn and too full of himself to saw what their father was doing was completely wrong. Fortunately for her tina was keeping her mind enough busy to not thinking about her brother and what they have to do to catch him, they do daily lunch sometimes they takes a drink after work, tina was fun to be around, it definitely help that tina was beautiful, she was clearly attracted to her but decided to nothing for now until the mess with her brother was finished, she doesn’t wanted to involved innocent people in this.
Tina was heavily flirting with Heidi, she really likes the older woman she checked all the boxes for her she was fine as hell, smart, funny plus she was rich what was not to like about her nothing, she saw the girl was holding back but was still responsive to her advance.
For the rest of the gang they meet sometimes during the week to drinks after work, and speak about their friends sharing funny story about them, getting know each other as they like the company of each other, sometimes the girls goes to shopping together while the boys goes flirting around, they all hit off pretty well and when the week end comes they goes clubbing together. They became really close during the time they spend together, for the delight of freen and becky.
Robert Armstrong in his hospital bed, was lonely his wife didn’t visit once, the woman definitely resented him for what happened with their children, he loved them to death and would do anything to protect them even if it means they would hate him.
If only back then they would be more careful freen’s parent would be still alive and maybe their child would be friends they would assisted the weeding of their daughters together and become one happy family, once he take one step into this world whatever the reason was it was difficult to step out of it. They were young and idealistic back then they thought they would make the world better for their children by working with each other but it backfired on them, he lost his friends and his family in one fateful day.
He promised himself that day he would do anything even if it was against his morale to take this person down. His next step was to give all his fortune to becky and Richie so they have resource to fight back against this person and if they kill him so be it I didn’t even care anymore.
He has made too many mistakes especially with becky, after her daughter run away he discovered her diary, what he saw in there broke his heart, he was mistakenly thinking that her daughter like Christopher, but in reality she was in a relationship with Heidi. To make the matters worse he learned the bastard tried to rape his little girl, he wanted to castrate the bastard but his hands was tied , so with the help of his son they beat him to pulp, making like it was a fight bar who had gone wrong.
The only positive point in all of that it was that becky and freen found each other.
Christopher jensen was busy to preparing his plan, he knows that now they were aware that it was him who was behind all of this, but he has still time to take them down. Today his mind wasn’t in them, he has a huge deal to make today he really needs the money he would gain, fortunately for him when his dad goes in jail he takes the underground side job, so here he was selling drugs to some big shoot apparently.
‘‘Hi Christopher jensen, i think we have something in common.’’ The man grinned widely, his widen when the man said that, how can he know.
‘‘And who you might be?’’ He asked curiously surprised the man know his name.
‘‘ My identity is not what's matters here, but you have to know we have mutual interests, your father was a good friend of mine, and this two bitches you’re after are in pain in my ass right know.’’ The man started, ‘‘let’s just say we have mutual enemies and I’m ready to give you all my resources to help you achieve what you started, so what do you say do we have a deal?’’ He asked hold his hand for Christopher to shake.
‘‘ Do we have a deal? Of course we have deal.’’ The Jensen grinned widely he didn’t know who was this man but he can’t refused the help that was giving to him.
‘‘ So tell me the plan of yours.’’
Tonight was the night, becky was telling to herself, she need to tell the truth to freen even if it was hard. They were currently to freen house planning their plan against Christopher they definitely become closer this passing month, she like freen company and funny jokes when the pressure become too much, freen supports her in such caring way that she can’t bear to lie to her anymore.
‘‘Freen i have something to tell you and please don’t interrupted me until I finish.’’ Freen looked at her attentively and mentioned to her to continue.
‘‘So you know how I tell you that my father and I, don’t talk to each other anymore, I didn’t tell you the whole truth. My father is really a powerful man in England, and at the beginning the relation between him and I was really good, I was a daddy's girl even. But I was 15 I discovered my sexuality and Heidi and I was in relationship we were young and thought that we love each other, but when my dad learned about that he wanted me to marry Heidi brother.’’ Freen eyes widen, so it was that the relationship between them then.
‘‘ Even if i was under the impression that I love her, the love for my family was greater so I tried to bear it for my father and accept what he decided for me, until one night Heidi and Chris was having a sleepover in my house because they were my good friend, in the middle of the night Chris sneaking out in my bedroom, and … and ….’’ Becky started to crying it was hard for her to tell that part of the story, freen know where this is going and felt rage through her whole body she was practically shaking.
‘‘He tried to rape me, I fight with all my might until I kneeled him the groin and run into the bathroom locked myself in I was in bad state, but he followed and continuously knocking on the door telling me that my dad would do nothing against him, that my dad knows he would coming tonight so I might just to give it to him, that I don’t know a lot things about them that I was just a pawn to their games and he would love to broke me when we married and some other things I prefer not to tell.’’ It was really difficult for freen to hear that she clenched her fist until her knuckles were white, and seeing the states becky was in broke her heart the girl were crying heavily, the only thing she wanted to do it’s to beat Christopher to pulp and leave him half dead in his own blood, that man was a bastard he deserved what was coming for him.
‘‘When the morning comes I decided I would tell my dad what transpires the night before because I didn’t believe that asshole and my dad was nothing but sweet to me, but when I was bout to knocked on the door of my father office I heard my father talking to someone, so I listened to it , and surprisingly enough it was Heidi and Chris father they were arguing about a deal that has gone wrong and that people died my dad was really angry, for the first time I heard my father talk like that, menacing and threatening he was shouting that his men shouldn’t have died and if somethings like happened ever again he will kill Jensen himself. That day my whole word came crushing down, I learned that my dad, the man I looked up to was a mafia boss, a monster, that he was ordering around to kill people, selling drugs to teenagers and even have connections in the prostitution rings, it was the last straws for me I stole all the information I can get about his shady business prepare a escape and ran away, since then that night I’m afraid to sleep alone, I still have nightmare about this till this day.’’ Becky wipe her tears and take a deep breathe she have to tell she was after her father she still trying to make him pay for what he did. Freen wasn’t thinking straight anymore she have a bad feeling about who Becky’s father might be.
‘‘Till this day I’m still after my father, my cousin who help me disappear, continue to help me to find proof against him, because all I have now minimize his involvements, and incriminate his partners, I even help Heidi with the proof I have on her father when I learned she knows the truth about her father. So Christopher was not only after you but after me as well.’’ Becky finished, now freen was convinced the girl she was searching, the girl of the man who kill her parents was becky, the girl she might a develop feelings for, the girl that she has tells her deepest secret, that has meet her parents and friends was the person. Shaking freen still need a confirmation.
‘‘Becky who is your father?’’ She asked shakily tears threaten to fall in her eyes.
‘‘ My dad is Robert Armstrong.’’ She said pained almost ashamed to admit that this man was her farther, freen can’t breathe, she can’t believe this she need some air she can’t stay here.
‘Becky i… i … i have to go. I need some times to process all of this, but please don’t stay alone go to your house I will call my driver to take you home.’’ She said clearly distressed she need to think she need to get out of here before she do something she might regret, but even in this state she thinks of becky well being, it was not good for her to stay alone after relieving her trauma.
‘’But, wait freen please don’t leave me alone please I beg you let’s discuss this.’’ Pleaded once again she knew nobody would accept her past but she didn’t expected freen to react this strongly.
‘‘Please becky we will talk tomorrow give me tonight, I need to think.’’ Freen grabbed her coat without another words leave the condo. Becky stay still for few minutes until she decided to leave too without thinking she called Charlotte.
Twenty minutes later freen found herself in a shitty bar down town, she begin to drinks and let her thought wandering, she doesn’t know why knowing the fact becky was the daughter of this man hurts her this much, she was aware that she developed some feelings for the younger girl whether it was friendship or something more she knows the girl made her way to her heart, she finished her drink and tells the bartender to left the bottle for her.
She really likes becky can she really judged the girl for something her dad did, plus when she learned the truth she did everything in her power to send her own dad to jail it definitely says something about her morals and character, becky has been through hell when she was younger constantly hiding herself, she doesn’t understand why becky agreed to the first place to her agreement knowing that her identity would be revealed.
And all freen did was running away from her when herself was nothing but supportive, becky must be confused why she fled like that she didn’t explain it to her. Guilty she take another big gulp of whisky, why did she run away becky would probably hate her later, she just left her there crying like a heartless bastard and she doesn’t know if she can live without becky now.
She really need someone to talk, but nobody knows the real story between her and becky. She needed to see her now, she need to explain herself she can’t let the younger girl suffer for something she wasn’t responsible, and she definitely can’t lose her, grabbing she leave the bar dialing becky numbers.
When Charlotte, saw her cousin the later was having bloodshot eyes sign that she was crying, she knows something big must have happening, she drives themselves to her house. The car ride was silent, becky head was against the window crying silently watching the sky, she doesn’t understand why freen react like that the first time she tell someone her story, and based on her reaction it doesn’t end well she knew when she will tell the truth freen might be angry at her for lying, she doesn’t really knows what she was expecting but for the older just leave her like that it just hurt her.
Charlotte glanced to becky time to time she can tell her cousin was really hurt but by what she doesn’t know, so when they arrived to her appartement she poured for themselves a shoot of tequila she feel that becky might need the extra courage to tell her what happened.
Three shoots later, Charlotte break the silence, ‘‘ so what happened beck?’’ She asked softly.
‘‘ I… I… I…’’ she can’t even finished her sentence it was really hard for her she expected freen to be confused even a little angry with her but all she did was to leave her in her own pain, she doesn’t understand why she was this hurt by freen reaction, they were nothing to each other, may be friends but that’s all but why she felt like her heart was broken.
‘‘ Take your time, you know I will never judge you.’’ She coaxed her gently.
So becky proceed to tell her what happened leaving some details intentionally, because she doesn’t have the strength to tell her the whole story again in the same night. Charlotte looked at her with a look of pity because she knows why freen react that way but she can’t tell her because it will cause a breach of the contract she made with freen.
Listening carefully her cousin, she was under the impression that becky have some feelings for freen but the younger wasn’t aware of it yet.
‘‘Beck what are you feeling towards freen?’’ She asked softly trying not to jostled her.
Becky was deep in thought she knows that she trusted freen, she liked how freen was trustful, how well they worked together, how their bodies seems to fits each other when they were having sex, how freen was considerate towards her always asking her opinion, how they pushed each other to surpass themselves and mostly important she feels safe and protected when she was with her, and she knows freen have differently with her that she was most tender and soft with her and she loves everyone saw that she was different for her. Plus they definitely have some deep connection, sometimes she understand her boss with just a look, freen really gets her, the chemistry between was something out of this world.
She concluded that she might have some feelings for her boss, the feelings were knew to her she never felt like that about someone, but the current situation was such she can’t do anything about it freen clearly rejected her, so she would buried her feelings and try save the friendship they have developed cause she doesn’t know if she can’t bear to not be near her now.
‘‘ I think I might like her but …’’ before she can finished her sentence her phone ring she checked the ID it was freen.
‘‘Hello?’’ She said hopefully.
‘‘Becky it’s me where are you? I need to speak to you.’’ Freen really hoped she didn’t destroy the trust becky put in her.
'‘Huh… yeah I’m at my cousin I send you the address now. See you in few.’’ Becky was surprised that freen was willing to speak with her, she hoped her boss would understand the situation she was in.
‘‘Char i need to go, talk to you later and thanks for tonight.’’ She grabbed her and jacket and run to the elevator, she wait until fifteen minutes later she saw a cab stopped before her.
Freen was anxious she doesn’t know how she gonna tell becky that her dad kill her parents, but when she saw the younger girl waiting for her shivering tightening her jacket around her, all she wanted to do was to hugged becky and never let her go ever again. So she did just that she run to becky and hugged with her all might, continuously keeping saying how sorry she was to leave like that after few minutes becky broke the hug.
‘‘ Why did you leave freen without a word, did you know how I feel when you did that?’’ Becky was more angry than anything else. ‘‘ do you realize how hard it was for me to open up to you? That I trust you enough to tell you something that I never tell to anybody, all you did was leaving like that. Were you that disgusted to learned who was my dad to stay in the same room with me?’’
‘‘No it’s like that becky I will never be disgusted by you. Yeah i know it was hard for you, but I have something to tell you and I’m afraid how you may react.’’ Taking her courage with a deep breathe freen continue, ‘‘I just need to collect myself this is why I need to leave. Becky your dad it was him who was behind the murder of my parents.’’ Becky was shocked she didn’t know what to say, what can she say to the person who she might like, her parents was assassinated by her father for fuck sake.
‘‘ What ? It ’s my dad who did this ?’’ Her heart broke once again when she saw becky crestfallen and defeated face, it was like the younger lost all hope. ‘‘So that’s why you left me like that because the thought of staying with the murderer daughter was too hard to bear for you that’s why you left me like that, I understand now. You must hate me now and think that I’m like my dad.’’ She really doesn’t what to do with her new found feelings for the older she can’t bear thought of hurting her, but how can she love someone who the father kill her parents I’m just a reminder of what was ripped to her hands.
‘‘Yeah it was him, but becky you have to nothing to do with that it wasn’t your fault I can’t judge you just because you’re his daughter. You’re nothing like him.’’ She said firmly she can feel becky slip through her fingers.
‘‘Freen, I know you say all of this because you’re kind, it’s who you’re, but i think we need to spend less time together, I will resigned tomorrow, call me when you need for your family and such I will always help you for that matters, but the best for you now it’s not see me in your face constantly to remind you the pain my father caused to you. I … I… it’s a goodbye for now take care freen.’’ She finished she tried to hold her tears because it hurts her to do that but she must protected freen the best way she can and it was too be far away from her .
She wanted to tell freen that she likes her, that even if she doesn’t, she doesn’t care if she doesn’t like her as long she can stay by her side, that she will supported her to send her dad to jail and give her all the help that she need, that she will always by her side from now on, that never in her life she feels this safe and protected in someone else embrace, that thanks to her she feels the warmth of a family, that it it was the first time since she run away she felt this alive, that she never felt like that for anyone else but her, that she will never hurts freen and she will do everything to protected her and help her in anything she needs, but she can’t tell all of that because of her father, who once again ruin her life.
She wanted freen to stopped her from leaving because it was what she would do leave her here, and hugged her to tell her that everything will be alright, but she knows it was just a fantasy.
If she knows the last time they kissed was the last kiss she would appreciate the kiss more, memorize how freen feels against her, the taste of her, the feeling of lips against her own, how she can feel freen heart beating wildly every time too late now, she doesn't have the courage to tell her all of this.
‘‘ What? No becky I … I… I….’’ Freen was speechless why did it feel like a break up, why it was hurting this much. Without another word becky turned on her heels and left just like that, freen didn’t know what does she should to do prevent her from leaving her, helpless she watch becky retired in the building.
She wanted to run after her, telling her that she doesn’t care who was her father as long as she stay by her side, that she never knew someone like her who accepted all of her this easily and care for her like her, that she likes her, that she found her brave and the most strong person she knows, that her presence calmed her and keep her focus, that never in her life she felt this strongly about someone, that her feelings for her was such that she definitely can’t leave without her now, but she stay here too stunned to talked, her feet planted firmly in the ground and in tears.
She wanted to stop her hugged her tight and telling her that everything we’ll be alright, to kiss her worry away and promised her she would never leave her.
If she knows it was the last she would have becky in embrace she would hugged her tightly and longer, memorizing her warmth against her, how her heartbeat was against her chest, her breathe against her neck.
But it was too late now the girl that she admits now that she love just left her, and she feels that it’s for good.
Why everything has too be so complicated why did she have to be such a fool and coward, she was persuaded that she broke the faith that becky put in her.
What should she do now? She knows she lost her for real now.
Richie was following freen around he just knocked out the three men that was following her, he will definitely torture them to have some information to know where this asshole was and put them in jail, tying them he mentioned to his men to take them away. He continue to followed her around and what he saw broke his heart, the two young girl were crying and by the way it was they probably broken up, he was under the impression now the cat was out the bag now.
It was time for him to appear he can’t leave them like this.
