Chapter 2
I woke up in a strange bed. It was comfortable, very comfortable and nice. At the same time...I was wearing a short nightgown....I usually avoid wearing such things because of my body embarrassment. But my body was also different... slimmer. Normally anyone would think they were dreaming. But not me. In my dreams, I've never been so sharp, so lucid. And now... I felt real. Truly.
I slowly opened my eyes, watching my hair on the pillow...it was black. They were blonde the day before. My arms were slimmer, milky white. No blemishes, moles, short hairs as usual. Other people would have gone crazy, but I was curious.I turned to the other side of the bed.
I saw him.
Loki was sitting in an armchair reading a book. It was a bit like the scene in Dark World where he was sitting in his cell reading during a dungeon fight. He immediately noticed my movement...of course he did. He was so handsome... He was wearing an Avengers suit...I should have been thinking about what I was doing here, what was going on... but all I was thinking was that he was here... and what I looked like.
"Well, good morning" Loki said casually, he set his book down and stood up on to get a better look at me. I stared at him for a moment.
''Good morning'' I said calmy, my voice... it was different. More sweet. I didn't like my previous voice. I'm sure others in my position would be a little more panicked, demanding answers...but me...I wanted to make a good impression on him. I wanted to be polite and kind. Because no one has ever been like that to Loki in the movies and the show.
"How'd you sleep?" he asked. Loki tilted his head to the side as he spoke, he was a little closer now but was still keeping a safe distance between us. He was very calm and as if he was trying to be harmless?
I used to hear him mocking, shouting, even what he was saying to Sylvie or Mobius... it wasn't like this. I've never heard him use that tone of voice. He was the most ''nice'' in his show...but even that wasn't like that tone of voice. I was also trying to understand the situation, I was in a strange bed, in a strange room, in a strange body.I had to find out what was going on...but I had to do it delicately.
''Very good, thank you'' I told to him.
"Did you have any dreams?" Loki asked curiously. His look was soft and he had a kind smile. It was so odd...it was fitting more to Thomas Sharpe, other character which was played by Tom Hiddleston. Not to Loki. He never had such smile. Loki was getting a bit closer now but wasn't in personal space yet. He moved his hand up to brush his hair back behind his ear and his eyes were locked on me with curiosity and a hint of something more.
''No... I haven't had any dreams.'' Except for the one that's happening right now... I leaned back against the pillows. I looked at the room I was in. It was very luxurious. It was large bedroom set with light furniture and light pink walls. Some books and a couple plants in the corner, a large window with pink curtains, vanity with many lady things - fans, jewellery, cosmetics... Pink ottoman and three white doors.
"That's a shame... usually dreams are interesting, even if they are completely random" Loki spoke thoughtfully. I didn't understand why he was asking... and what was actually going on... I took a breath and had to... had to dare to ask him.
I just have to do it gently. I sighed and asked "Where am I?"
"My home," he replied. This time it was more like what I knew from the movies. He had an expression similar to when Dr. Selvig mentioned Thor. It was sharp and defensive. But after a while it disappeared. His face was blank and calm again. Loki stood there in front of me with a curious look as he waited to see my reaction.
"And what am I doing here?" I asked. Loki pursed his lips at that.
''I kidnapped you'' he said quickly.
