Wayne Manor
“Ughhh” Peter groans. That boom tube was no joke he thought. Batman seemed unfazed by the boom tube. “Welcome to the Batcave Mr. Parker” “Just Peter is fine Mr. Wayne. Whoa.” Peter looked around taking it all in. When his eyes made it to the bat computer his eyes sparkled. “This is incredible. That computer looks top of the line!” Batman couldn’t help but smile a bit. “It is top of the line. Now follow me. I should introduce you to the rest of the family.” Batman walked away with Peter following him, eyes still darting around the cave in awe. “Hello Master Bruce. Who is this?” Peter jumped a bit at the voice. Peter saw an older gentleman in a suit and tie. “Hello Alfred. This is Peter Parker. He is going to stay with us for a while.” “Alright Master Bruce. I will set another plate as the dinner table” “Thank you Alfred” Peter stuck out his hand. “It’s nice to meet you” Alfred doesn’t shake his hand but slightly bows his head and walks away. Bruce and Peter finally made it to the dining room. Peter stepped in and saw many people at the table. When the people saw Peter they stopped talking. One young boy groaned. “Father why do you insist on taking in every stray child you find.” Bruce shoots the boy a look and clears his throat. “Everyone this is Peter Parker. He is a guest that will be staying with us for a bit until we can get him home. He is not another orphan that I am taking in.” “Um actually I am an orphan. But that’s besides the point. It’s nice to meet all of you.” Bruce stares at Peter and sighs. “You can sit next to Dick and Damian.” Bruce says pointing towards the child who spoke before and a young man. Peter awkwardly took his seat. “So… Peter right? My names Dick.” “It’s nice to meet you. Are you…?” “I’m Bruce’s son. And so it the little hellspawn next to you.” The boy glared and rolled his eyes. “My name is Damian. And I’m the only blood son here.” Dick rolled his eyes. “Yes Damian. We know. Why don’t you go hang out with your little boyfriend or something.” Damian’s face turned red. “Jon is not my boyfriend Richard.” Dick smirked and turned back to Peter. “So where are you from Peter?” “Oh I’m from Queens.” Dick raised an eyebrow. “Queens? I’ve never heard of it.” Peter cleared his throat. “Well that might be because I’m… from a different universe.” Suddenly the conversation around them stopped and everyone began staring at Peter. “Another universe. Jeez Bruce your really expanding your adoption radius.” Joked another young man sitting at the table. Bruce sighed. “Once again. I’m not adopting Peter.” Suddenly the door swung open and a woman walked in. She was wearing a tight leather costume with cat ears. “What’s this I hear about another child?” Bruce groans and stands up. “Nothing love. I’m not getting another child.” She looks at Peter and raises a eyebrow. Peter stand up and lifts his hand. “It’s nice to meet you ma’am. My names Peter. I assure you your…?” “Husband.” “Right, husband has no intention of adopting me.” The woman shakes his hand. “Catwoman, anti-hero at your service. But you can call me Selina.” Peter shakes her hand. “You seem very unsurprised that I’m with a anti-hero Peter.” Bruce says. “Oh well your… not really the only one” Peter says quietly. “Oooh drama” says a blonde haired girl at the table. “Spill. What’s a normal guy doing dating a anti-hero.” Peter slightly blushed. “I work as a scientist and he sometimes works with me and we… um got close.” The people stared at Peter before another young man spoke up. “So you have hero’s in your universe too?” “Oh yea! We have a bunch of them.” Peter said quickly trying to change the subject. “Jason he obviously has hero’s if he has anti-heros.” The blonde haired girl said rolling her eyes. “Oh sorry Steph. Are you a universe expert. No? That’s what I thought.” The two started bickering and the rest of the night was filled with light hearted conversation.
