You storm into the living room everyone looks up at you confused you go straight up to Clint, "where is he?" You sign you didn't care if they were watching you at that moment you were just so frustrated "Who?" He signs back. "Loki."
"I don't know, why?"
"He took my hearing aids!"
"Why would he do that?"
"Because he didn't believe me that I needed them to hear..."
Clint stopped and looked up at everyone who looked confused, "what are you two talking about that we can't be included in?"
"Tony, she can't hear, and I'm the only one who knows sign language here."
"Why didn't we know that?"
"Because Steve she felt comfortable telling me and the only reason everyone just found out is because Loki took them."
"Loki give them back to her."
"Why should I bother? She seems to be getting around fine.."
Everyone turned around to see Thor and Loki walking in "Just give them back to her."
"Not until she admits she can still hear without them."
You turn to Clint frustrated, "What did he say?"
"You don't want to know... it will only get you irritated."
"Just tell me."
"That you can only get them back if you admit that you can still hear without them." Your face turns red " I told you that you didn't want to know... I'll get them from him."
"Thank you."
Clint gets up and approaches Loki "Give them here."
"I don't know what you are talking about."
"I'm sure you don't... give me her hearing aids."
"Just give them to Clint Loki."
"No"
"Why? Don't you want her to hear?"
"Is this really the only way she can hear?" Loki looked down at the hearing aids in his hand and over to you. "Yes, it is Loki."
"Here"
"Why did you take them in the first place?"
"I thought I could find a way to help her be able to hear without those..."
Clint looked at Loki surprised "You wanted to help her." Loki looked down at his feet "I did.." "I don't think there's a magic trick that can help with this, I'm sorry Loki."
"I know I figured that out a while ago..."
Everyone just sat there shocked as to what they were hearing.
You go up to Clint "What was the reason he took them?" Clint gave them to you " I think he should tell you himself." You looked at him unsure but took your hearing aids and put them back in and went up to the roof with Loki. "Clint said for you to tell me why you took my hearing aids..."
"Yes, about that I'm sorry... I did believe you. I just wanted to find a way for you to be able to hear without them..."
"Loki, why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't think you would want me to... And I wanted to get your attention somehow..."
"You didn't need to take them to get my attention. But did you find a way?"
"No, I didn't, there wasn't any trick to get hearing back... I'm sorry"
You look up at him, your eye's softening as you see how upset he is. "It's ok."
"No, it's not I-I wanted you to be able to hear me say something without those..." You lean against his chest "What was it you can still tell me you know." You look up at him encouragingly "I love you..." You were surprised at first "I love you too Loki."
"You're not just saying that, are you?"
"No, I'm not..."
He looks at you resting your head on his chest. You look up at him and smile. He lifts your chin to meet your lips to his, As your lips meet his you close your eyes on impact not wanting to break it you took in his smell and pull him closer to you. You noticed he was shocked, making you move closer to him and run your fingers through his messy hair. You wished it would've lasted longer but Loki breaks the kiss and you open your eyes and look up at him.
"Well, what's going on up here?"
“Clint?"
"I was wondering what was taking you so long to come back down..." he said, smirking at you, reddening you got up quickly from where you were sitting beside Loki.
"I won't tell anyone..."
You better not!" Loki just sat there laughing at you, yelling at Clint.
