She whimpers out and stuffs her face in the pillow with yet another sob. You place a comforting hand on your back. "Gwendolyn," You say after a moment of silence, a deep sigh escaping you. "I..I don't understand your situation, but I know that you can't give up." You scoot closer to her and take her into your arms, stuffy uniform gently brushing against her skin. "You only have one chance to live, one chance to be true to yourself and take what you want." Gwen blinks for a moment, tears still streaming down her face before she leans close to you, and you take the moment to gently pull the pillow away and wipe her tears away.
