As soon as he crosses into Texas, on his way to South America, Stiles feels a chill go right up his spine.

Having hyperfocused to learn the route it would take to get him to the temple they figured Kate scooped Derek to, its wild that Stiles makes a sharp turn on the main road and heads toward a call in his mind only he can hear and visualize.

He reaches it by nightfall.
Sees a dark lake bubbling with pitch black water and a thick billowing mist like a dark cauldron.

He'd really like to nope out of this...like for real. He is a child of the quality horror movie age and knows he only wishes he was a Final Girl but is more than likely a dead ass Randy Meeks in the movie of someone else's life (Scott's, of course!)

But Stiles also feels an anguish here, a suffering, and several innocents.
He'll freak the f*ck out about how exactly the knows, later! TRUST!

As he parks Roscoe, grabs his trusty aluminium and silver-dipped bat (also coated in 17 different deadly substances to Supes), he steps forward into the water.

On an abandoned and decrepit building just off to his left side, hangs a sign:

"Bienvenida: San Venganza"

They're in one of the northernmost countries in the world when their son is born.
With little family to speak of, and a sense of foreboding at their backs, they decide to tour the world and revel in their dreams and whims while they can.

They know 'ITS' not over, but they try to wish it was.

The pregnancy was unexpected, but they're ecstatic.
Johnny's eccentricity, and something soft when he suggests it, convinces Sonja to name their son "łyżwa" - and since they wanted to move in anonymity, their son takes the surname they've adopted from Johnny's family tree - a long line stretching back from America to Prussia, and even Romania.

"łyżwa Stilinski"

The Sheriff has a knack for interrogation.
He's savvy and smart in his own right, and Stiles comes by his natural curiosity and excitement for puzzles, honestly.
But even the Sheriff himself knew he always had a little something else no one else had, to work with when he needed to press a perp harder.

He never misused the "gift" - not sure he's even able to, as the one time he'd tried while still grieving for Claudia and working his way through a hangover, it just never "came on" during an interrogation.

He rarely uses it much, as most of Beacon County's criminals seemed to always get uneasy around the thought of being caught or near the sheriff, and the few who encountered him recounted nothing but were white as sheets and seemed to keep clean records right after their run-ins.

The sheriff is about to go into another interrogation for a drifter with an attitude and at least one confirmed case of having assaulted a local down in Beacon Valley Heights, when his phone rings.

A chill runs down his back because that phone very rarely rings, but he never parts with the phone at any time, just in case.

"Hey, what's wrong?"
"łyżwa. Kid. Where is my grandson? Tell me he is still in the county?"
"Uh, well he better be, because he has homework, I'm sure. Why? What's up?"
"I just woke from a harrowing dream and I --- just make sure Mzieslaw is there, and don't let him out of your sight, okay? I'm flying in soon."

"WHA-- DAD?!", the sheriff looks at his phone bewildered.
