The worst thing Tony Stark ever did.
Tony barely stepped foot in the airport and was already surprised by a punch so strong that it not only knocked him down but knocked him out.
Of course, he had already been slapped, kicked, and other minimal assaults well deserved after sleeping with several women. But this one hand punch was not coming from any of those wome. Now he had Peppe, and he wouldn't do that to her.
Besides this woman was seen by most of his friends as a kind of younger sister, he would never go and nor would he want to be with her.
The problem was that he had done something that crossed the line, and everyone agreed that it was well deserved. He was drunk when he did it, as was vteve who helped and also deserved a punch, but that didn't matter.
He did something that could solve things but completely change his friends' lives or ruin everything and end everyone's friendship and cause chaos.
All he wanted was for Bruce and Natasha to assume their relationship that had been going on for years.
When they were still in college they had had an affair for a few weeks, but the relationship did not work out, and they were both too afraid of ruining the group dynamic, especially if they broke up for any reason whatsoever.
And on top of this, Bruce still had his father's problems, who was always bothering him and getting involved in all his relationships and his life in general, even though they hadn't lived together for a long time.
After what his father did to his mother, both mother and son left home and went to live with one of his aunts, Susan Banner.
Despite being sisters of Bruce's father, Susan and Elaine thought everything their brother did was an atrocity, nor did they consider him family after the abuse he had done to their sister-in-law and nephew.
Living with one of his aunts, Bruce also became close to one of h s cousins Jennifer Walters, who became like a younger sister to him.
Chad was also there from time to time, especially at the crazy family reunions.
These family issues led Bruce to feel guilty and afraid that he looked too much like his father. Bruce would never forgive himself if he hurt any of his friends or family, but especially Natasha, whom he liked and perhaps even loved.
Natasha had always been a strong woman. Although she thought she had been abandoned by her biological parents, she had her confused adoptive family to take care of her. She was never very good with relationships, they didn't last long, various reasons, but it was enough to believe that if she had something with Bruce she would end up messing it up and it would all be over in a few weeks. The relationship after that would probably be uncomfortable, and even the group of friends could split up because of them. Or rathe, her fault, since she thought that she was the reason for the breakup.
So, the relationship never went forward.
The official relationship never happened, so they stayed with other people throughout time, even though they both still had feelings for each other.
The big problem is that after a month of their affair, the two started a kind of colored friendship, they kept denying their feelings for fear that it wouldn't work out, they went on with other relationships, but at the same time, sometimes they met and spent time together, sometimes beyond the carnal relationship and sometimes just that.
With this, the feeling that they felt for each other only increased more and more.
Only things got complica, hefor Bruce, he got into a relationship that, although the woman was a good person, did not have much feeling beyond admiration. The problem is that Bruce's father, as always, got involved in the relationship, seeing it as an opptooknity and took advantage of it, manipulating his son to get stuck in this relationship.
Bruce and Natasha continued to see each other, from then on more and more, both still thought about the relationship in the same way as before, which made them ignore their feelings out of fear and go on with life, it wasn't bad, but it could have been better.
This went on for years, the group of six friends, Tony, Natasha, Bruce, Steve, Clint and Thor, grew with other friends, girlfriends/wives and even children when Clint was the first to have children.
In time, all these friends knew about their relationship, they both thought that no one else knew about it, but since Clint started dating Laura, his wife, everyone realized that there was something there, and after a while, everyone was sure of the relationship and hoped that both of them would realize that they were meant for each other.
Until one day, when Tony was to marry Pepper, things got completely out of control.
The party would be big, matching the groom's well-known style, even the hotel was big and fancy. Some guests and the groom had arrived early, everyone wanted to enjoy their stay so some arrived earlier than others.
This was the case with Steve and Peggy. Both were married with almost three year old twins, Jacob and Julie, and both Peggy and the kids were eager to enjoy the scenery and the place.
Thor and Jane, ietro, Wanda and the Vision, Bucky and Sam, had also arrived. They all gathered to talk and celebrate the big event that was Tony's wedding. Some people there even thought that Wanda and the Vision, who were not only the couple but the youngest of the group (after the children obviously), would get married before Tony. Some were even betting on Bruce and Natasha.
At this party they took advantage of the fact that Natasha hadn't arrived yet because she was coming the next day with the Bartons, her sister Yelena and her parents, and that Bruce was also only coming with his "girlfriend", his cousin Jennifer and her family later, to talk about their relationship.
The problem was when the party calmed down and some drank more than they could handle.
Peggy left with her kids way before when they started to fall asleep, and Jane went to help. Bucky, Sam, and Pietro left to go out to eat and see the city.
Wanda was the first to get drunk, and Vision had to take her to her room before she lost control of herself.
Soon, only Tony, Steve, and Thor were left. The three of them drank so much that even Steve was out of his mind. Thor kept drinking, and Tony had a terrible idea. He dragged a Steve just as drunk into the mess.
But the next day, when they woke up super late, it was too late. They blew all the condoms in Natasha's room. This way, both of them would have a reason to assume the relationship.
Even with the hangover the next day, Steve was so angry for what he helped Tony do, that as soon as they arrived desperately asking about Bruce and Natasha, finding out that it was probably too late, Steve started running after Tony promising to put an end to his race.
After the wedding, they told what they had done to the rest of the group except Bruce and Natasha. This made everyone tense and awkward with their two friends. The more time went by, the stranger they became.
The two were suspicious, but they couldn't make their friends talk about what was bothering them, and Natasha just waited for Tony to open his mouth.
Almost two months after the wedding, Bruce and Tony went on a business trip that would take almost a month.
Meanwhile, Natasha was spending time at the Bartons' house with her nephews.
She had no idea, but Tony's drunken plan seemed to have worked, which had left her friends in a panic. Natasha had been reporting that she hadn't been feeling very well for some time, those who knew about what Tony had done had already been tense, but the symptoms hadn't gone away and seemed stronger in her stay at the farm.
As a person who had gone through three pregnancies, Laura knew very well how to recognize the signs. The problem was that neither she nor Clint knew what to do to at least make her consider this option.
Until they were looking too strange, they could no longer disguise knowing something she didn't know.
Then Natasha began to urge them. If it was something that affected her life, they should tell her. Everything pointed to this since they were not the only ones being weird with her since Tony's wedding. They were just more weird and more tense.
Eventually, Clint opened up. They would have to tell her anyway. They would have a lot more complications if they took any longer to tell her.
Natasha was desperate. She found out not only that all her friends knew that she and Bruce were lovers, but also that there was a good chance that she was pregnant with his child. The thought of being a mother and having to tell Bruce panicked her.
She would kill Tony for that!
Knowing the situation, Clint went to buy some pregnancy tests, and Laura tried to calm the redhead down.
The minutes after the tests were the most agonizing of her life, Natasha spent the whole time thinking about what she would have to do if she tested positive, she didn't understand why, but she had tears in her eyes, holding on not to cry.
Clint and Laura were supporting her and hoping that everything would work out.
The first test was negative, which made Natasha let out the breath she didn't even know she was holding, but at the same time she felt something bad in her stomach, as if deep down it was disappointing and she really wanted this.
The feeling was short-lived as the other tests came back positive, 1 against 2. She was pregnant. With this information, she could do nothing but let the tears roll down her cheeks and sit on the bed completely lost.
Natasha was panicking. A lot would change with this, and she didn't think she was ready. She would have to tell Bruce, she was not sure if it would be a good thing for him, maybe she would have to do it alone, just thinking about it increased her despair.
This news would ruin Bruce's relationship. Even though it was already not good, Bruce had no feelings for her and was cheating on her with Natasha.
Laura and Clint tried to calm her down. Both of them were worried about the redhead's reaction and feeling terrible for not telling her sooner.
Bruce and Tony wouldn't be back for another month, which meant that by the time she talked to Bruce, her pregnancy would be in its third month.
A week after the discovery, Natasha seemed to be calming down. She was still nervous, with many things on her mind.
She was already beginning to accept the idea of being a mother, still with many insecurities, but it was no longer just a reason to have a panic attack.
She couldn't stop thinking about Bruce and how she would tell him. No matter what happened, all her friends and family said they would be there for her, helping her all the time.
This relieved her a little, but she still had to deal with the one responsible for intruding where she shouldn't have.
Steve had apologized relentlessly, and Peggy had already made him pay for what he did. Pepper did the same with Tony, but it was his idea, and to Natasha, he deserved a punch in the face.
She decided to go with Jennifer and Bruce's mother to meet them at the airport. The two had known about her situation and her relationship with Bruce for as long as the others.
This made Natasha feel uncomfortable and ashamed for the first time since she was a child. Not for Jennifer, but for Bruce's mother. She really liked Bruce, She knew her for a long time, and it was strange that the grandmother of the baby she was expecting knew about all the history between her and Bruce.
Jennifer was always very clear about how she felt about Bruce's relationship. She always wanted the two of them to be together. Plus, she wanted to welcome her cousin to see the punch that Natasha would give Tony.
Anyway, all three were there. At the same time that Natasha was nervous about talking to Bruce, she was anxious to punch Tony in the face.
Pepper and Bruce's girlfriend had gone on a trip with them, which meant that Natasha would have to face Bruce's girlfriend and could not just talk about her pregnancy there.
Natasha was wearing a loose-fitting cardigan to help disguise her belly, which wasn't very big yet, but if you pay attention, you can see a slight bulge. The buttons on some of her jeans were no longer closing properly.
Their plane finally landed. They got off and went to meet the rest of them. As soon as Bruce saw Natasha, he could not contain his smile. He was curious as to why she was there, but seeing her was always good.
Natasha was also happy to see him, forgetting about things for a second. Snapping back to reality quickly, remembering what she went there to do.
Just as Tony approaches, innocently greeting everyone already from afar, barely expecting what was to come.
As soon as he gets close enough, he notices Jennifer holding a cell phone, recording their arrival, they are confused, but before they can ask, Natasha hits him in the face so hard that he falls to the ground and doesn't get up anymore.
After all the chaos, despair, and confusion over the punch, Tony wakes up on a couch and is in the care of Pepper and Bruce's mother.
He was confused by what had happened, but he only had to think about it for a moment, and his eyes widened. Tony understood why, and fear and nervousness took over. Things were going to get tense, and he would probably pay dearly for it.
He looked around and realized that neither Bruce nor Natasha were in the room. Pepper was next to him, Bruce's mother got him an ice pack to put on his face, Jennifer was laughing in the corner (she probably sent the video to everyone), and Bruce's girlfriend was in the corner and looked restless.
She was probably worried about the conversation between Natasha and Bruce. She was right to be worried, but it was too late. Knowing Bruce, he would break up with her to be with Natasha and the baby.
He should have done it before, Natasha was the one he truly loved and wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Now things finally will be like it should.
Meanwhile, Natasha and Bruce were alone in another room so they could talk privately.
Bruce was nervous, afraid of what she had to say. Natasha wanted to run away so as not to have to face him, but she knew what she had to do.
"What was that about? Why did you hit Tony?"
"He did something he shouldn't have."
"Did he really deserve a punch like that? You knocked him out!"
"If you knew, you'd agree with me."
"Then tell me? I'm pretty confused. Don't take this the wrong way, but I didn't expect to see you now. I thought we were only going to meet at the weekend, as agreed."
"I know... but it's urgent, I can't wait any longer..."
"I'm starting to worry. What happened?" He approaches her and holds her hands.
"Bruce... I..."
"Hey, you can tell me anything. I'll always be on your side."
"You'd better listen before you promise that."
"What is it?"
"I'm... I'm pregnant."
He stares at her, speechless. Bruce began to wonder if he was hearing correctly, not knowing what to say, much less what to think.
"What?"
"Before we got to the place where Tony and Pepper were to be married, Tony got drunk and punctured all our condoms."
"He did what?! Why?!"
"It seems like everybody knew that you and I were sleeping together."
"Everyone?"
"Yes, even your mother."
"My...uh..." He starts to turn red at the thought of his mother knowing he was cheating on his girlfriend.
"That's right... They wanted us to work it out, and Tony ended up with this stupid idea."
Bruce was still digesting the information. He sat down in an armchair in the corner of the room where they were sitting. Natasha waited for his reaction and for what he would say.
"How long have you been here?"
"Three months..."
"You... Have you had an ultrasound?"
"Yes. Do you want to see it?"
He nods, she looks for the picture in her purse, and hands it to him. Bruce stares at the picture, already able to see a little of the baby, especially the head. An involuntary smile took over his face, the idea of seeing his son, despite the situation, made him feel a growing emotion, especially when he thought that the woman he was carrying, and who would be the mother of his son, was Natasha.
His smile infected her, it seemed to be a good sign, and she began to smile too, as she saw him analyzing and smiling not only at the ultrasound, but at the idea of being a father.
He stood up and walked back to her, pulling her into a hug. Natasha was relieved to get all that off her chest and share it with the man she loves. Everything seemed to be working out, and he seemed genuinely happy.
He promised that he would be by her side until the end of the world. They kissed, cried a little, and hugged.
Later, they had to face reality, and Bruce would have to break up with his girlfriend and deal with his father's tantrum.
They both agreed that they would not involve the old man in their son's life. They did not want him to go through what Bruce went through. His father didn't really like Natasha, as well as any of Bruce's friends, other than Tony who is rich, so they knew he wouldn't like the news, much less support it.
Regardless of the problems, the two finally took up their relationship, making everyone celebrate. Tony tried to joke that his plan had worked and was almost punched again by the redhead. The only reason Bruce didn't get mad at his friend was that he was very happy about the baby he was going to have and that he was officially dating Natasha.
The two, despite the pregnancy, took it slow at the beginning of their relationship, Bruce was there all the time, but they only moved in together when Natasha was already in her sixth month of pregnancy.
They decided to keep the crib in the bedroom until the baby was one year old because it would be easier and safer for the three of them.
Everyone was anxious to meet the baby, and curious since the couple decided not to tell their friends the sex of the baby. Most of them were already involved in Tony's bets.
Jennifer and Yelena were fighting over who would be the best aunt and favorite even before the baby was born. The two grew closer and became friends of the kind who tease each other all the time.
Melina, Natasha's mother, got along very well with Bruce. She always liked him, as they both understood and talked a lot about science.
Alexei, Natasha's father, knew that Bruce was a good man, not Russian, but he seemed worthy of his daughter. Moreover, he was most anxious to meet the baby. He wanted to teach everything about Russia and take care of his grandson or granddaughter.
Rebecca, Bruce's mother, was also very fond of Natasha, she had her doubts when she first met her, but got over it in time and realized that she was a good person, Natasha was good for Bruce and really cared about her.
She had never seen her son as happy as he was with Natasha and the baby on the way. Rebecca was happy and proud of her son, seeing that he would be a great father, unlike the one he had.
Brian, Bruce's father... Nobody asked, and nobody cares.
After everything, Natasha finally gave birth to her daughter, a beautiful little girl with brown hair and green eyes. A sweet and lively baby, but at the same time sensitive and with a huge heart.
Warning: Don't pierce the condom of your little friends. You will get punched so hard you will fly to the other side of the room. If they can't handle themselves, slap them in the face and tell them to be ashamed of themselves.
