Mystery-Boy
When Miles and Hobie started dating it really took everyone at HQ by surprise. The many spider-people had been suspecting the two had a thing but it was never confirmed and with how Hobie had said that he wasn’t one for consistency they never believed he was actually a relationship guy, but they were proven wrong when they were asked after yet another instance of the two having been caught leaving a room together with flushed faces. The two were bombarded by questions once their relationship was confirmed, mainly by (legit only) Pavitr. Gwen and Peter only congratulated him with somber looks on their faces, Miles still hadn’t forgiven them after what had happened with Miguel and him trying to save his dad, when they betrayed him, lied to him, and then expected him to understand, so all he could do was thank them and walk away towards Hobie and Pavitr.
Miles stepped through a portal back into his room along with Hobie, they both flopped down onto his bed and just laid there with Hobie having his arms around Miles. Miles just looked up at his boyfriend who was now resting.
“I can feel you staring, love.” Hobie suddenly said after Miles had kept staring at him, the young teen blushed and looked away apologizing.
“No need to be sorry Miles. “ Hobie then sat up, leaning against the headboard of the bed, to look at Miles. The two boys stared at each other before Miles moved to sit on Hobie’s lap. Wrapping his arms around the taller boy's neck linking his arms together, Miles smiled as he felt his boyfriend's hands rest on his waist.
“Hey.” Miles said with a cheeky smile on his face.
“Hey.” Hobie replied as he rolled his eyes, with the same cheeky smile on his face.
Both teens sat in comfortable silence for a few seconds before Miles saw Hobie’s eyes flicker down to his lips as he licked his own. That was the teens sign to go. Miles closed the gap between the two. Hobie’s grip on his waist tightening slightly. Both teens closed their eyes.
Miles always loved the feeling of his boyfriend's lips on his, it always felt right. They were always soft and perfect for him. Miles felt nothing but love throughout his whole body as he pressed their chest closer together. Hobie had begun to run one of his hands down Mile’s back using the other to cup the other teens face. Miles' lips parted slightly, allowing Hobie to slowly slip his tongue inside. When both boys parted a string of saliva still connected between the two, Hobie looked at Miles with half lidded eyes. Miles breathed heavily as he made eye contact with his boyfriend. Hobie was the one to close the gap between them again. Hobie shifted his body as he began to lay Miles down on his back, moving the hand on Miles’ back to the younger teens waist, Miles didn’t fight it and just went along with it, hugging his arms behind Hobie’s neck bringing the other teenager closer.
Hobie began to kiss Miles down his jaw line towards his neck, earning a quiet moan from the teen under him.
“Fuck Hobie-” Miles said breathlessly as Hobie shifted his body to take of his battle vest, tossing it somewhere in the room. After Hobie had taken it off he went right back to peppering kisses down Miles neck, even leaving a few(a lot of)hickeys behind. Miles moved one of his hands to grab a handful of Hobie’s wicks making the hand he had on Miles waist grip tighter. Miles felt as Hobie left another hickey closer to his jawline, making Miles let out a whimper.
Hobie’s lips left Miles’ neck as he used the hand he’d kept on the other side of his boyfriend’s face to turn his face the opposite direction so he could see marks he’d left behind on Miles
“You’re beautiful.” Hobie said, as he leaned back in to meet his lips with his boyfriend again, this time he parted his lips making Miles slip his tongue in deepening their kiss one more time. Hobie moves his hands to Miles’ waist. Then they both heard it, a knock on Miles bedroom door. Making both teens stop what they were doing.
“Hey Miles, you in there man?” It was his uncle Aaron.
“Crap!” Miles said in a panicked tone managing to pull himself up along with Hobie, which left the punk frowning at the sudden interruption.
“Uh- Yeah! Yes, why?” Miles replied getting off the bed pulling his boyfriend up with him putting Hobie behind the door, fixing his appearance the best he could before opening his door slightly. Greeting his uncle with a sheepish smile.
“You need something?” Miles asked, Aaron stared at his nephew. He didn't miss the way his face was flushed, or the way he was breathing heavily, or the darkening hickeys on his neck, or the seemingly misplaced un-matching battle vest on the floor of his nephews room, which Aaron immediate knew it didn’t belong to Miles, but for Miles sake he pretended not to notice.
“Yeah, actually. I wanted to ask if you could watch my apartment next weekend. I'm going out of town.” Aaron said, looking down at his nephew, Aaron saw the way Miles froze at his words. After everything that happened with Fisk, Miles finding out he was the Prowler, almost killing him, then getting shot because of not killing him, barely surviving said shot. Aaron understood the kids' anxiety.
“Relax, I'm going to see a few friends, I swear. I’ll even send evidence.” With that he saw Miles exhale a breath he probably didn’t notice he was holding, he nodded then Miles paused for a few seconds before he responded.
“You couldn’t have texted me?” Miles asked, slightly annoyed. Aaron also didn’t miss the annoyance in the teens voice but again he pretended not to notice.
“Actually kid I did, multiple times and I called you too. You sound annoyed, am I interrupting something?” Aaron replied calmly yet teasing his nephew, watching as the teens face turned a dark shade of red and fell as he reached for his phone which was still in his pocket, seeing everything his uncle had just mentioned. Miles hadn’t even realized. Miles looked back up at his uncle with an apologetic look.
“Uh no?No!....Sorry uncle Aaron, but uh yea I'll head over to your apartment Friday after school.“ Miles said, looking at his uncle Aaron hoping the “no” was convincing. It wasn’t but Aaron cut the boy some slack and played along
“It’s alright kid. I forgive you, see you next time.” Aaron said as he began walking away, he didn’t miss the way his nephew looked behind his door and the second voice that spoke when they thought they were in the clear. Aaron was going to have to talk to that kid someday but for now he was glad to not do that.
Miles shut his room door leaning his forehead against the door as Hobie hugged him from behind.
“Damn love, you fancy me so much that you didn’t feel your phone buzzing?” Hobie said as he smiled against the base of his boyfriend's neck placing a kiss on the nape of Miles’ neck.
“Shut up Hobie.” Miles said as he gently elbowed the teen behind him, making Hobie laugh, which in return made Miles laugh with him.
“Oh my god Hobie, that could’ve gone so bad if we hadn’t heard the door. What if my uncle had caught us? We weren’t exactly being pg.” Miles said as he led them back to his bed to sit down. Both of them sat on the bed it didn’t take Hobie long before he picked up Miles and sat him on his lap having Miles’ back leaning on his chest
“Yea but he didn’t catch us did he?” Hobie said, teasing Miles as he rested his chin on the smaller boy's shoulder hugging him close. Miles only rolled his eyes in response, refusing to make eye contact with his boyfriend.
“You know you love me.” Hobie said Miles shifted to look at the boy behind him.
“Hm, Yeah I do.” Miles said, earning a kiss to his temple from Hobie.
Hobie was already back in his own universe thinking about the events that had taken place earlier that day. Without shame Hobie would admit it makes him blush. The older teen saw his phone screen light up. He didn’t hesitate to grab his phone to see his beloved boyfriend had texted him, Hobie was quick to unlock his phone.
Miles<3: Hobart Brown I am going to murder you omg.
Hobie stared down at his phone confused before he replied. He also loved that he could tell he was about to be absolutely scolded.
Hobie: you’d dare kill your ever so loving boyfriend?
Miles<3 is typing…
Miles<3: about to be EX boyfriend Hobart
Miles<3: I LOOK LIKE I WAS ATTACKED BY AN OCTOPUS
Hobie knew exactly what Miles was talking about but he chose to play stupid just for the sake of annoying Miles.
Hobie: Excuse me??
Miles<3: don’t “excuse me” hobie!
Miles<3: omg uncle Aaron definitely saw the hickeys
Miles<3: For your sake Hobart you better hope he didn’t see them.
Miles<3:I’m so fucked
Miles<3: What if I lie about it??
Hobie stared at his phone in amusement, smiling to himself. He loved Miles with his whole heart but the older teen also knew that Miles couldn’t lie to save his life.
Hobie: Don’t worry love, I’m sure he didn’t see plus he came light right after I’d left my beautiful art on your neck.
Hobie: they aren’t as dark when first left them
Hobie: I love you!
Miles<3 is typing…
Miles<3:I hope not
Miles<3: I love you too Hobie <3
Hobie smiled at his boyfriend's last message fully content with his previous actions. Zero regrets he’d definitely do it again.
Just as promised Miles showed up at Aaron’s apartment the following week. For some reason he never chose to use his uncle's door. Taking out his phone miles snapped a picture of his uncle who was waiting for the teen on his couch, sending it to him. He saw Aaron chuckle as he looked over to his window, watching as the teen smooshed his face against the glass. I guess some things never change, Aaron thought to himself.
“Uncle Aaron!” Miles yelled as he began to enter his uncle's apartment.
“I have a door kid.” Aaron stated, pointing to his very obvious front door. Miles just blinked at the man before walking over to his uncle's couch and flopping down
“That’s the lame way Uncle Aaron.” Miles said smiling, making sure to avoid eye contact.
“Very funny man, Ight imma head out. Remember no more than three people aside from you in my apartment. I left you cash Incase you want to order yourself something to eat.” Aaron said as he grabbed his bags and began walking out.
“Bye uncle Aaron, I know, see you later.” Miles said, watching as his uncle walked out. Miles was certain uncle Aaron knew about Hobie but just not saying anything about it. If that was the case Miles was grateful his uncle wasn’t a nosy person.
Hobie stepped into Aaron’s apartment. Looking around until his boyfriend was spotted, sitting on his uncle's couch. Hobie smiled to himself before walking over to Miles.
“Hey love.” Hobie said, walking over to Miles. Miles looked up at the sound of the voice smiling knowing exactly who it was. Miles got up to greet Hobie.
“Hey babe.” Miles said, hugging Hobie and placing a kiss on the older teen's cheek. He felt Hobie’s hands grip his waist giving them a light squeeze.
“I missed you.” Hobie said, looking Miles in the eyes. Miles smiled and placed a gentle kiss on Hobie’s lips
“I missed you too.” Miles spoke between kisses. He felt as Hobie pulled him closer. Miles hummed into their kiss. Miles was the one to pull them apart.
“Eager aren’t you.” Miles said as he leaned in to kiss Hobie again.
“Very.” Hobie spoke against Miles’ lips. Miles felt as Hobie’s hands ran down his back. Hobie didn’t hesitate to grab his boyfriend's ass in his hands. Miles jolted up, somehow pressing his chest closer to Hobie, quickly using one of his hands to grip one of Hobie’s wrist’s immediately letting go and running that hand up Hobie’s chest to his face cupping his cheek in his hand, hooking his other arm around the punks neck safely. Hobie took that as a sign that it was okay and he lowered one of his hands to Miles' thigh picking it up. Miles helped him by picking his other thigh up and wrapping them around Hobie, hooking his ankles together. Hobie moved his hands back down to support Miles. The two broke their kiss yet again and just made eye contact.
“I love you.” Miles said he could’ve sworn Hobie’s pupils turned into a heart at his words. Saying I love you to each other wasn’t new to them. It always takes Miles back to when they first said it to each other. Hobie and him had just finished swinging around his earth. He remembers he was laughing about something and he caught Hobie just staring at him, he remembers asking Hobie why he was just staring, then he’d heard the three words come out of Hobie’s mouth “I love you” clear as day. Best day ever.
“-les, -iles, Miles!” Miles felt and Hobie tickled him bringing him back to reality making Miles jolt back almost taking himself and his boyfriend down to the ground if it wasn’t for Hobie’s incredible balance.
“What?” Miles said as he unhooked his legs from Hobies waist but moved his arms to hug Hobie’s neck again. Hobie moving his hands back up to Miles' waist.
“You kinda got lost there love. What were you thinking about?” Hobie asked, eyeing his boyfriend closely.
“Nothing bad.” Miles said Hobie just hummed and pulled Miles close, hugging him.
“Alright then I won’t pry.” Hobie spoke.
“Are you hungry? Uncle Aaron left money so we could get something to eat.” Miles said, looking at Hobie.
“I could eat.” Hobie admitted. Miles let go of Hobie to go over to grab the cash before sitting the both of them down on the couch they chose to ignore the entire time since Hobie had arrived.
“Ok so what do you want?” Miles spoke looking at Hobie waiting for a response.
“Some Chinese sounds good don’t it?” Hobie said Miles nodded, finding the number for the local Chinese food place.
It was late afternoon on the final day of Miles watching his uncle's apartment. Aaron had turned his doorknob to find the door was locked so he reached into his pockets for his keys. He knew Miles was inside because he could hear the kid panicking in the apartment assuming he was rushing someone out. Right as Aaron opened his door Miles slammed the window closed looking back quickly at his uncle who was just watching him from the doorway.
“Hey uncle Aaron!” Miles said, as a blush was still on his face just like he had seen back the week prior when he’d first asked Miles to watch his apartment for him.
“Sup Kid.” Aaron dropped his bags, closing the door behind him as he walked further into his home. Looking over to his couch he saw the same exact battle vest he saw that day. Miles hadn’t seemed to realize that his mystery person had left their vest behind but he didn’t pry. He even watched as Miles rushed out his apartment leaving the vest in the spot where it was placed
“Bye uncle Aaron I gotta go tell me about your trip later bye!” Miles was quickly out the door before Aaron had a chance to reply. Miles even used the front door as he left. Aaron once again laughed to himself, good to know his nephew’s finally got some game.
Miles looked through this duffle bag that he had taken to his uncle's apartment in search of Hobie’s vest. To no avail. Right as Miles was about to shamefully pull out his phone to ask his uncle if he’d seen the vest at his apartment he received a message from his uncle.
Uncle Aaron:*insert picture of Hobie’s vest on his couch*
Uncle Aaron: kid you left this behind
Miles is typing…
Miles: Oh crap
Miles: sorry uncle Aaron that’s my friends he left it behind
Miles: I’ll come by to pick it up tomorrow
Uncle Aaron: no worries man just showin ya.
Hobie was back in Miles’ house with his boyfriend sitting on top of him as he was laying down on the living room couch after a heavy make out session that they weren’t quite ready to finish. One of the many playlists they’d made together playing in the background. Hobie went right back to kissing Miles after they both had enough time to catch their breath, slipping his tongue into the younger teen's mouth when he parted his lips. Hobie’s hands never leaving Miles' waist. Hobie slowly peppered kisses on Miles’ cheek down to his jaw line where he places kisses all along that area. It was perfect Miles’ parents were out of town and he had the house to himself. So he did the only thing reasonable, he invited his boyfriend over, and here they were. Making out on his couch, while home alone let him emphasize that again, which meant zero interruptions. Miles felt Hobie's hands grip his hips deepening their kiss. Miles felt Hobie hold him closer. Miles thought that if Hobie had the opportunity to absorb Miles he definitely would. Miles admittedly wasn’t a huge on physical contact but for Hobie he’d do anything. Hobie was on cloud nine. He still didn’t believe he managed to actually confess his feelings for Miles and that Miles liked him back. Miles felt as his boyfriend suddenly pulled away from their kiss as he spaced out. Miles did nothing but stare at the boy beneath him, laying down on top of him waiting for him to come back to reality. After a few minutes he saw Hobie’s eyes looking around the room and then down at him.
“How long was I out?” Hobie asked sheepishly. Miles smiled, placing a gentle kiss on Hobie’s jawline.
“About five minutes.” Miles said as he lightly guided his fingers all over the older teens chest. Once again Hobie hugged Miles tightly, placing gentle kisses to the boy's forehead. Miles lifted himself up to meet eye to eye with Hobie.
“I love you.” Miles said, looking at Hobie moving one of his hands to caress the punk's face. Hobie sat up keeping Miles on his lap, leaning back onto the backrest of the couch.
“I love you too.” Hobie said, as he observed Miles’ facial features. Hands still on Miles’ waist, his thumbs rubbing small circles on the boy's waist.
Miles never took his eyes off the older boy. Hobie moved to rest his forehead on Miles' shoulder. Miles moved his hands to link them around Hobie’s neck. Hobie began to trail kisses along Miles’ neck and up towards his mouth. Both teens went back to kissing. Hobie pulled Miles in closer by his waist, their bodies pressing together. Hobie felt as Miles moved his hands to carefully play with his hair. Music still blaring in the background. Everything that happened between them still felt like a dream. Hobie loved Miles and Miles loved Hobie. As their lips continued to move together Hobie licked Miles’ lower lip as a sign to let him in. Miles did just that, allowing Hobie to slip his tongue into Miles’ mouth. Miles hummed into their kiss, sighing through this nose. Miles parted their lips staring at Hobie with half lidded eyes. Miles moved his hands to cup Hobie’s face, and he just stared. Hobie saw as Miles' eyes darted all over his face, so he let him do just that, he started running his hands up and down Miles’ sides. Miles finally looked Hobie in the eyes after a short while.
“See something you like?” Hobie asked, he looked at the boy in front of him, with his eyes so full of love
“Always.” Miles admitted. Hobie smiled, pulling Miles in once again.
“Well I quite fancy you too Miles Morales.” Hobie said, speaking against Miles’ mouth before kissing Miles. Miles leaned into Hobie. Miles felt as the punk played with the hem of his shirt. Miles only nodded against Hobie before he felt the older teen start to pull up his shirt. A loud voice yelled out Miles’ name over the music startling both of the teens making Miles jolt, sending him back. Hobie was quick to catch Miles before he hit the ground then both teens looked around to find the source of the voice, only to be met with Miles’ uncle Aaron
Aaron was walking over to his brother's apartment. Since his lovely nephew’s phone seemed to not work anymore he decided to drop off Miles’ mystery person’s battle vest. Aaron had to admit he was pretty glad Miles had finally found someone. He just wondered who that person was. Aaron finally reached the floor he was looking for walking to his destination. Aaron wore his earbuds the entire walk to the apartment yet he could still hear as loud music blared from the apartment. Aaron knew one of two things could be happening in his brother and sister-in-law’s apartment, either Miles was throwing a party or he had someone in there, he also knew Jefferson and Rio were out of town. The thought of his nephew being in there with someone doing god knows what made him uncomfortable but he was the adult in this situation so he begrudgingly used his spare key to open the door as discreetly as possible. Quickly Aaron was met with the sight of his nephew sitting on some other kid’s lap and said kid pulling up Miles’ shirt. Aaron admitted he panicked, leading him to shout out Miles’ name.
“Miles!” Aaron watched as both Miles and mystery boy jumped, sending Miles back only to be caught by mystery boy.
“Miles, what are you doing!” Aaron shouted as he pinched the bridge of his nose, turning his back to the two on the couch, refusing to look at Miles.
“Fuck fuck fuck. Uncle Aaron, what are you doing here?” Miles asked, clearly panicked.
“Forget that right now, are you decent?” Aaron asked, his back still facing the two
“What? Yes.” Miles answered. Aaron slowly turned around to look at Miles and was met with the two boys sitting next to each other. Aaron could feel the embarrassment radiate off Miles as the teen looked up at Aaron and the other boy refusing to look up from his lap. Aaron opened his mouth but he paused, turning to the stereo that was currently still playing music pausing it. Aaron looked back at his nephew and mystery boy only staring at them before he finally built up the courage to speak again.
“Miles care to explain what's going on here?.” Aaron asked, Miles stared at Aaron before looking over at mystery kid and back up at Aaron
“Uh…experimenting?” Miles said, Aaron saw as mystery boy’s shoulders jumped and him covering his mouth, probably to stop himself from laughing
“Miles.” Aaron said before the mystery boy burst out laughing.
“Why are you laughing at me!” Miles said as he turned to look at the mystery boy. Mystery boy looked up and over at Miles. Aaron got a good look at the boy. He couldn’t be any older than Miles. A lot of piercings he thought to himself
“Love you could’ve said anything else, but you chose to say you were experimenting.” The kid said as he made eye contact with Miles. The thick english accent took him by surprise. Aaron could see how much the boy adored his nephew with a simple look.
“I didn’t know what else to say!” Miles said, leaning towards the mystery kid, quickly sitting up again as he faced his uncle.
“Miles. Just. here-” Aaron said as he gently tossed the battle vest he had in his hand to Miles. Miles caught the vest and he slowly handed it over to the other kid next to him.
“Please don’t tell my parents uncle Aaron they’ll kill me.” Miles said as he looked up at his uncle with pleading eyes. Aaron knew he could never really say no to Miles.
“Fine but in order for me to do that you need to introduce me man.” Aaron said as he stood staring at the two. Miles nodded looking over at a semi-mystery boy who also nodded in approval. Miles stood up along with the other teen.
“Uncle Aaron this is Hobie Brown, my boyfriend, Hobie this is my uncle Aaron.” Miles finished introducing the two of them, Hobie immediately stuck his hand out towards Aaron for a handshake.
“Nice to meet ya mate.” Hobie spoke, keeping his hand in place. Aaron slowly took the kids hand in his and shook it.
“Nice to meet you too, I’m Aaron.” After he introduced himself he let go of Hobie’s hand. Staring at the two in awkward silence before he spoke again.
“So what are your intentions with my nephew? How long have you two been together? Where did y'all meet?” Aaron asked question after question. Hobie just stared at Aaron before giving Miles a quick glance. Miles moved to begin pushing his uncle out of the apartment.
“Okay bye uncle Aaron!” Miles yelled as he pushed the older man out the door. Aaron let himself get pushed out but not before he turned to Miles and pointed at him.
“We’re talking about this later.” Miles didn’t fight it and he just nodded again. With that Aaron walked out, closing the door behind him. Miles stared at the door for a few seconds before walking back towards where Hobie had remained standing. Miles went up to Hobie and wrapped his arms around the older teen, Hobie doing the same.
“I believe that went well.” Hobie said, as he began to sway the two in place. Miles hummed against Hobie’s chest.
“Could’ve gone worse.” Miles said, feeling as Hobie squeezed him closer.
“That's the spirit love.” Miles knew that this wasn’t exactly the end but for now he was happy that at least one member of his family knew about his amazing boyfriend. Miles looked up at Hobie before speaking.
“Now where were we?” Miles said, as he smiled. Hobie smiled back at him before pulling Miles in to resume where they had left off. Miles quickly broke the kiss before he led them back to his room, closing the door behind him the second they were both inside. Hobie’s smile never left his face as he began to pull Miles in again, having their lips meet once again.
“Eager aren’t we?” Hobie spoke into their kiss. Miles nodded as he jumped to wrap his thighs around Hobie’s waist. Hobie quickly moved his hands to support Miles’ body. Hobie quickly locked the door before he took both himself and Miles towards the bed.
