Bae sang along to the song stuck in her head, swaying her hips from side to side while she finished serving breakfast.

“How do you have that much energy so early in the morning?” She turned around to find a freshly awake Kronii leaning against the doorframe.

“Early in the morning? It's almost eleven.”

Kronii groaned, moving away from the doorframe to approach Bae.

“I didn't realize,” She came to a stop in front of her leaning down to peck her lips, “Good morning.”

“Good morning to you too, I was planning to wake you up once I was done with our breakfast but it seems you won me on that.”

“You only made two plates, are Fauna and Mumei out? I didn't see them in bed but I assumed they were somewhere around here.”

She nodded, “They woke up around eight-thirty, I was going to wake up too but they insisted I stayed in bed with you since we went to sleep rather late. When I woke up later on I saw they weren't here, they left a note saying they had gone out to buy some groceries.”

Kronii rolled her eyes, “Of course they did, I told them I was going to come along but it seems they had other plans.”

Bae laughed, “You know how they can be, they just wanted to give you more time to rest.”

“I know I know and while the gesture is nice, accompanying them wasn't going to be a nuisance.”

Bae couldn't help herself by pinching her cheek once she saw her pouting.

“You can be so cute sometimes, who could have thought that someone who tries to look intimidating 90 percent of the time, becomes such a puppy when it comes to her girlfriends.”

Kronii felt her face reddening, “Please don't go saying this stuff out loud, I have an image to maintain you know.”

“Oh I know,” she winked, “Let's go to the dining room, my stomach is starting to rumble.”

Each grabbed a plate and left the kitchen.

When they were almost done eating, the door of the apartment opened as Fauna and Mumei returned from doing groceries carrying various bags.

Seeing them awake, they dropped the bags by the entrance as Mumei went towards Bae, sitting down on her lap and kissing her cheek, while Fauna did the same with Kronii.

“Good morning sleepyheads, did you have a good sleep?” Fauna asked, picking up a lone blueberry from Kronii’s plate.

“I think I speak for both when I said we did. I needed the extra hours of sleep so thank you for telling me to continue sleeping.”

“No worries, Fauna and I wanted you to sleep more so we are glad to know you did”.

“While sleeping was indeed nice now that we are all awake, do you have plans for the day?” Kronii asked, receiving a general no from her girlfriends.

“Is there something you want to do? I mean we could go out or stay here and have a movie marathon.”

Though she was only giving two options, it was implied that they could come up with something else.

Fauna thoughtfully hummed, “The last time the four of us had a day free of any responsibilities we decided to go out, so I say we stay here to change the plans and besides, I'm feeling up to just cuddle up to you the whole day.”

Mumei nodded “That does sound nice, so I also vote for a day in.”

“Alright, I also like the idea so I guess it's three now, what about you Bae?”

She shrugged, “I'm fine with anything as long as I get to spend time with all of you.”

That made them all smile.

“It's decided then, we will stay in today,” Fauna announced, “Let's put the groceries away and prepare some popcorn.”

With two bowls of popcorn, one salty and one sweet, and a few blankets, they all huddled on their couch. For now, the positions were as in, Mumei was between Fauna and Kronii, cuddling against the latter while Fauna was cuddling Bae.

Having done marathons before, they all knew their positions would change later on whether it was on who was cuddling who, to someone wanting to have some free space, moving away from the cuddle pile, until they felt like joining again. 

It was kind of amusing to think how they had gotten to this point, knowing how their relationship had started.

After the first dinner together then came a period of extensive talks in regards to their feelings and what everyone wanted.

In the beginning, everything was tentative, despite Fauna, Mumei, and Bae expressing a mutual interest, the uncertainty on where Kronii and Bae stood with their relationship made things go slow, but as things turned out it didn't take long for both to also develop feelings for the other and when that happened, everyone felt ready to formalize a relationship.

Six months after the fact, Fauna, Mumei, and Kronii proposed Bae to move in with them. Although they had felt ready to make such a proposition two months into them dating, they had mutually agreed to wait in case they were doing everything too fast, but once it felt appropriate, they waited no more to ask her.

It couldn't be denied that everyone was nervous because of the new change. Despite their relationship growing stronger by the day, living together was an unexplored new territory. 

Thankfully all their fears and anxieties were soon dispersed as they found their connivance to be great.

“I just realized, today is the fifth, which means it has been three months since Bae moved in,” Fauna commented as the credits of another movie began rolling in.

Bae looked at the calendar hanging by the wall to see it was indeed the fifth, “You are right, I completely forgot what day was today.”

“Does it feel like three months have already passed?” Bae looked at Mumei who was now cuddling against her.

“Unironically it feels as if much more time has passed, but in a good sense, we are so accustomed to each other that it just feels like we have been sharing a house for years.”

Kronii hummed, “I feel the same way, from the moment you came here it was as if everything clicked, you just fitted perfectly with our routine and lives, you didn't feel like a stranger but rather-”

“Like someone who has always belonged here,” Fauna added, perfectly finishing Kronii's thoughts.

Hours later, Kronii found herself in the kitchen washing the empty bowls and glasses they had used.

“I can't tell you how much I needed to have such a relaxing day,” Fauna approached her from behind, circling her arms around her stomach.

“You and us all.”

Fauna chuckled, kissing her shoulder before pulling away.

“Once you are done with the dishes, can you help me carry Bae and Mumei back to our room?”

“We can just leave them there,” Kronii glanced at her over her shoulder receiving a deadpan look.

“Why do you look at me like that? You know the couch is comfortable, so they aren't at risk of waking up with a stiff neck.”

“I know that but there is no reason to sleep on a couch when they have a perfectly comfortable bed to lie on.”

Kronii turned the faucet off, “You act like such a mom sometimes.”

Fauna scoffed, “Can you blame me? I have to deal with you three.”

Kronii raised her arms, “That's fair. Anyway, I'm done here so let's go get those sleepyheads to our room.”

Bae and Mumei hadn't moved an inch since they left as both were still asleep, holding onto each other.

“How do you want to do this?” Kronii asked.

“Take Mumei first, I will help her change, and get her into bed while you come to get Bae.”

With how tight they were holding each other, they were bound to wake up when moved but Kronii managed to be gentle enough to not disturb their sleep much. When she picked up Mumei, she just cuddled into her, intending to keep on sleeping.

She whined when Kronii put her down, which was followed by a few more the moment Fauna began undressing her but she at least was cooperating.

When she returned to get Bae she found her sitting but she wasn't awake since her eyes were closed and her head was slightly bobbing.

“Let's get you to bed baby,” She picked her up and just as Mumei did, she also rested her head on her shoulder.

Back in their room, Mumei was already tucked under the covers while Fauna was finishing changing.

When she was done she together with Kronii helped Bae to change and once she had her pajamas on, she laid beside Mumei who clung to her as soon as she did.

Kronii was the only one that remained clothed, so she wasted no time on changing too before she lay beside Bae, while Fauna lay beside Mumei.

“They were knocked out in an instant,” Fauna whispered.

“I supposed we should join them, after all, we need to wake up early.”

Kronii barely managed to close her eyes before Fauna spoke again.

“Kronii?”

“Hmm.”

“Are you happy?”

“I am, are you?”

“The happiest I have ever been.”

Kronii smiled, a gesture that went unnoticed thanks to the darkness, “I love you”

“And I love you.”
