Prologue
It’s been four months since the disappear of miles morales. Four months and so much has happened. Miles’s dad, jefferey Davis, had quit the police force having no hope in finding his son, his mother, Rio is exhausted, drowning herself in work. Laying in his room nearly every night, while she cried herself to sleep, still hoping that one day he’ll come back. Regreting to ever let him go to chace some girl Rio didn’t even like. Her husband assured her it wasn’t her fault, only to blame himself.
Jeffery couldn’t bring himself to enter Miles’s room like rio could. It hurt way to much, thinking that he wasn’t there when miles needed him most. He attempted to find a new job to distract him from his missing son but fail greatly, every thing reminded him of miles. From food to inanimate objects, nothing to stop him from thinking about miles. Jeffery wished he could’ve been a better role model for his son, like his past brother Aaron. He wished his brother was there to comfort his but he had to be there for his wife, Rio.
It didn’t help when Miles’s room started to collect dust, not wanting to clean it and changing it around, not wanting to get rid of the light scent he left behind. Not wanting to get rid of the slightest bit of rubbish he left around. All they wanted was to hear his voice, to hug him, to feel him in their arms one more time.
[in another another universe]
The smell of coffee filled the air, it was a busy day per say, just a sunny day with people working at their tables or just chatting with friends. It was nice. This was nice for miles morales, a break from chaos if you will. He would wish for this everyday, but only one thing bothered him.
Every thought went out the door when he heard another jiggled of the bell as he handed out another coffee. Now focusing on the new customer, but he quickly stopped in his tracks seeing who it was. He knew they recognised him.
