The Encounter

"You see kids-" Arnim Zola was cut off by one of the siblings as he was about to explain. "We're all in our 20s, we're not kids Zola..." The eldest of the siblings said. The mentor could only sigh, rolling his eyes before continuing. "The word 'destiny' might seem like a concept for fantasy worlds, but destiny is a real thing." He glanced at the city scape below. "Me, I was destined to be a villain in most of the parallel universes I come across." Arnim Zola seemed a bit-- Saddened... "You're not a bad guy to us." (name) pouted, noticing the change of expression. "Well... That's because everyone is morally gray in the Higher Society, its a rule that we cannot hurt others and their respective universes." The mentor explains. "I don't get it, how can you be considered a villain when you're such a nice dude." (brother2) asks, leaning on the railing besides their mentor. "Well, I guess you just start being someone else in a place where no one really knows you... Its like a fresh start. But I cant be like this when I return to my home reality, because destinies aren't meant to be broken..." Arnim Zola sighs and looks at the kids with care "Never test fate... There's a reason for a cemetery in Earth-80085, and none of them are from that reality at all." The man knew the three new recruits would probably save lives at every chance they get, they were spidermen and woman after all, fated to a life of obligation and responsibility.

"W-what exactly happens? when you break this uh-- Destiny thing?" (name) asks, knowing its not something pleasant. Arnim Zola presented a holographic image of what seems to be a quantum hole, slowly devouring a town. "See that? It wont stop until the whole universe is gone..." He says, and his three apprentices could only swallow a lump in their throats. "So what? we're just supposed to follow a single path or something? how do we know if its right or not?" (brother2) seemed distressed, worried that he's gonna somehow mess things up, the mentor chuckled lightly at his student. "No, no... It's not a single path... Think of it as multiple strings, you do not know the ratio but some of it leads to something, and some of them are cut off... That's why sometimes, there's only a single possibility--" Arnim Zola pauses, seeing if one of his students could finish it off. "Because out of all the possibilities, only that one string is correct?" (name) took a guess with Zola's example. The man smiled at the woman, nodding his head. "On point (name)... So technically, as long as your universe doesn't collapse, it means you're all walking down the right path, you don't know which one it is, but its one of the correct ones." Their mentor finishes, letting the younger ones swallow this new found information.

"There are things that are meant to be, and things that are not meant to be... That's why things get a little bit trickly when foreign entities end up in different universes." Arnim Zola continues, showing the different types of beings and entities being randomly teleported everywhere throughout the multiverse. "A group of imbeciles decided it was a good idea to tear a hole in different realities, thus bringing our collective universes at stake." The man closes the hologram. "Those foreign entities could accidentally change the course of a universe, though the possibilities are endless, we cant determine which ones are correct and which ones lead to doom." The mentor pauses for a second, awaiting some more questions. "So its like? a 50/50 or something? well not technically, basically just chances yeah?" (name) questions, seeking for confirmation. "Correct once again (name), it really varies depending on a universe, sometimes the chances are 40/60, 20/80, heck it could be 99/1 and that single foreign entity could mess it up by going on that 1% path." Arnim Zola looks up the night sky, admiring the universe they visited. "Every action can mess up a core event, aka. the catalysts... There are multiple versions of catalysts, and there are also many ways to mess them up. That is why we must be careful when traversing the multiverse." Arnim Zola starts entering the numbers '80085' on his teleportation device. "That should be it for today, I only led you guys here because its one of the universes with the best view of the night sky." The man chuckles, about to open a portal back to their HQ...

It all happened so fast, the siblings sensed something with their spider sense. "ON THE RIGHT!" (brother1) yelled, pulling their mentor aside. A man stumbled on the ground, quickly regaining themselves, the man was wearing a suit of what seems to be unstable molecules, covered in navy blue with streaks of scarlet red across his suit. "You..." He growled, looking directly at the siblings' mentor. The three were quick to surround and protect Arnim Zola, but to their surprise, the man clad in blue wasn't the only one in the scene. "Huh... We're battling one of our own." The man grumbles, noticing three other spidermen protecting the so called 'anomaly'. "H-hey, chill out man! we were just about to leave ok?" (name) tried to dissipate the growing tension, but the huge man didn't stop in his tracks, walking closer menacingly.

"Spidermen assisting a villain? That's new" A voice from another direction says, a woman on a bike.

"Well, its the multiverse Jess, we always see something new." Says another person, carrying a-- toddler?

(name), (brother2) and (brother1) were undoubtably on high alert, the people surrounding them were being sensed as something both familiar and a danger, the three didn't know what to do. "I suggest you hand him over to us... Villains have been randomly teleported across the multiverse, it could be dangerous if we let roam around this place." The gruff voice of the man caught (name)'s attention, her distrust unwavering despite the familiarity. "He didn't randomly teleport here! And we weren't doing anything to change the course of this universe! so leave us alone and let us go back to our home..." The female never left her stance, determined to protect their mentor no matter the cost. The man sighs and motion for his comrades to stop advancing "Kid, do you even know the possible consequences of traversing universes?" The unstable molecules that acted as his mask retracted, revealing the man's face. Arnim Zola could only scoff "Of course we do, we travel the multiverse all the time." The mentor says. "You have no room to talk here villain, shut it." The muscular man growled, obviously in a bad mood. "Its true, we know the rules of the multiverse, so please... Just let us go." (brother1) being the eldest of the three, mas much wiser and tried to handle things the peaceful way.

"Miguel, I think we should just let them, this might actually be an honest misunderstanding." The man with a child attached to his chest says, walking over to Miguel. "Don't test your luck Parker, knowing what recently happened to the multiverse, you're really just going to believe that?!" Miguel scolds. "Miguel! The kids look terrified, why don't we just ask for confirmation before being rash." Jessica mentions, not being able to handle the look of distress on the young adults, All she sees are three students trying to protect someone important to them. Miguel groans, giving in to his friends "Fine... Give us an explanation right now on why we shouldn't detain all 4 of you right now." He threatens, and receives as light nudge on the shoulder by Jessica. "He means um... Show us proof that you're actually not a threat." Peter chuckled nervously, trying not to aggravate the siblings any more. Arnim Zola places a hand on the kid's shoulder, motioning them to relax "It's ok, I'll handle this." The siblings let their mentor take the lead, their defensive form faltering as they let Arnim Zola talk to the Miguel guy.

"We are from a group called the Higher Society, we are advanced life forms may it be genetic wise, ability wise or intelligence wise, we are just a group of peaceful beings traversing the multiverse and doing the same things you guys probably do." Arnim Zola explains calmly. "You put back anomalies in their original realities?" Peter asks for confirmation, earning a nod of approval from Zola in return. But Miguel was not so easily convinced "And you expect me to believe that?" His voice was cold, threatening, as if he was asking for more proof. "Dude, what else do you want? we basically already told you what our purpose is!" (name) couldn't handle his attitude any longer. "You... You better shut your mouth if you know what's best for you kid." Miguel retorts, eyes glowing red. Arnim Zola was quick to get between their sights, aiming for Miguel's attention. "Why don't I just show you..." Zola puts down a portal, it even has a visual on where they are going, some people who seemed to be guards were even at the side, awaiting their entrance. "Don't worry guys, they're guests..." Zola explains before stepping inside, motioning for the others to follow. "Why don't we have that Mig? I want to see where the heck were landing too!" Peter whines, making his daughter giggle. Miguel frowned at this, clearly jealous at the more advanced device the group holds. "Shut up Parker, we don't need fancy things like this, what matters is that we're saving the multiverse." Miguel says, making sure the others hear, trying to give off an impression that he does not give a shit on how technologically advanced the Higher Society is.

"Sure Blue Panther, keep telling that to yourself" (name) says mockingly, giving a smirk before entering the portal and running off to the middle. "HEY! You better not eat all the empanadas by yourself again!!" (brother2) yelled, knowing why his little sister went straight for the cafeteria. "Oh, its dinner time already..." (brother1) mumbles, knowing he wont get a chance to have a taste of their cafeteria's specialty. "This is only the cafeteria?" Jessica asked, shock a bit on how beautiful it looked, she steps in slowly, feeling the breeze of Earth-80085, eyes wide and in awe of the magnificent surroundings. Peter and Miguel followed suit, noticing the large structure surrounding them. "Welcome to the Higher Society HQ, are you guys perhaps hungry?" Zola asks, (brother1) besides him. Miguel looked around, noticing the familiar villains and heroes walking amongst one another in the same space, he didn't know how to react with this information. "Like what was said, we do not discriminate here in the HIgher Society..." (brother1) noticed the look on Miguel's face, smiling at the man as he turned around to go after his siblings, leaving the three visitors to Zola.

One of the guards tossed a small box with a button towards Jessica. "Its your bike ma'am, press the button and throw it on the ground to put it back in its original form." The guard explains, saluting Zola before going back to their original posts. "Damn, why cant we have this Miguel?" Jessica lightly chuckles, amazed at the technology unknowingly making Miguel feel annoyed and a bit insecure about his advancements. "We don't need that..." The man clad in blue grumbles. "Yo can we like, go eat already, Mayday is already salivating and I do not feel like mopping the floors on this bridge..." Peter wiped his daughter's lips, but more saliva keeps coming out. "Yeah, I'm feelin a bit hungry too, do you guys allow take aways?" Jessica sheepishly asked, Miguel couldn't believe his comrades were being swayed so easily. "Hey, hey, hey! were not here on a temporary vacation, we still have things to do... besides, we have a cefeteria of our own." He held their shoulder's back, not letting them take another step forward. "We appreciate your offer Zola but I think we all got what we came here for... answers." Miguel reminded the two of their purpose for stepping in here "I believe we must go as our mission here is done." Miguel opens a portal, looking at his two comrades, waiting for them to go in first. Peter was obviously bummed out, and Jessica could only roll her eyes.

"Here... Take this." Arnim Zola tries to give it to Miguel, but Peter was quick to grab it, knowing that his friend will most likely toss it away. "Mine and my three apprentices' contacts are in there... Just a press of a button and we'll be there." He smiles gently. "Thanks for the offer but we don--" Miguel was then cut off by Peter "We'll make sure to use it wisely" He was quick to cover up Miguel's dismissal over the topic. "Hope we don't see each other again..." The man grumbles, going inside his own portal as he wasn't that patient to wait for his team mates to go in first, soon after the two followed up, earning a glare from their leader.

This is the start of the relationship between the Spider HQ and the High Society...

"I'm sorry miss (name) but we cannot give you 20 empanadas at once, you can only get 2 and after you finish it you need to go back at the end of the line if you want some more." - worker

"what?! but you let us do that last time!" - (name)

"Move over fat ass, let me have mine!" - (brother2)

The moment the 2 empanadas land on (brother2)'s plates, (name) snatched them, swinging away from the scene. "You little fucker!" He grumbled before chasing after his little sister, they were in their 20s but their young spirit sure never changed. As (brother2) was getting closer, the female focused on dodging each one of his attacks, not aware of the incoming web shooting her way.

(brother1) snatched all 4 empanadas, teleporting away to another universe to eat them in peace and leaving his two siblings to fight over the lost food.
