Right at that point
Tony was in his study at Stark Tower, engrossed in searching for confidential information about Peter's life. Although the idea of adopting him was a surprise, he knew he needed to know all the details to make sure the adoption papers were legal and smooth.
She thoroughly researched the records, looking for background information, birth certificates and any other relevant information that could help in the adoption process. As he delved deeper into Peter's life, he realized how much had happened.
Tony discovered the explicit details of the tragic loss of Peter's parents, his relationship with his Aunt May, and the challenges he had faced since then. However, something struck him as odd even though he thought he had met Peter's mom. He didn't know for sure, maybe it was the vodka talking. Every obstacle overcome by the boy, every act of bravery and determination reinforced his conviction that Peter deserved a stable and secure home.
While he was excited to surprise Peter with the adoption news, he also felt a deep respect for Peter's history and past. He knew he needed to approach the subject delicately and make sure Peter was ready to take this big step. After gathering all the necessary information, Tony took a moment to reflect on what he had discovered. He was overcome with a feeling of affection and protection for Peter. He was determined to give him the love and stability he deserved along with Pepper.
With all the documentation in his possession, Tony carefully planned how he would reveal the surprise to Peter. He wanted it to be a special and meaningful moment, one they would both remember forever.
With his plan in place, Tony waited for the right time to tell Peter the news. He was eager to show his young protégé how much he meant to him and how he was willing to commit to being his father wholeheartedly.
The adoption was approaching, and Tony couldn't help but feel excited and nervous at the same time. He knew his relationship with Peter had evolved a lot since they met, and he was determined to make their bond as father and son official.
Over the course of several days, each of the Avengers approached Tony individually to share their thoughts about adopting Peter. Although they had not previously discussed the issue, each of them had come to the same conclusion: Peter was like a son to Tony and deserved to have an official family.
Steve Rogers was the first to approach Tony. During a training session in the Stark Tower gym, after a few punches and combat moves, Steve stopped and wiped the sweat from his brow. With a serious expression, he approached Tony.
"Tony, I know you've been considering... adopting Peter," Steve said in a firm voice. "And I want you to know that I fully support that decision. He needs you, and you need him too. He's already like a son to you."
Tony frowned, taken aback by Steve's words. However, he recognized the sincerity in his eyes and nodded slowly. "Thank you, Steve. It means a lot to me that you think that. I'm trying to do right by Peter."
Later, in the Tower meeting room, Natasha Romanoff approached Tony. She had been researching and gathering information about adoption laws and the necessary legal procedures. They sat together, looking at the documents on the table. "Tony, I've been thinking about this, and I think you should go ahead with Peter's adoption," Natasha said with her typical seriousness. "You've proven yourself to be a loving and protective father figure to him, and you have the ability to provide him with a stable and secure life, well..I trust you..."
Tony nodded, grateful for Natasha's support. "I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make sure Peter is protected and cared for. I don't want him to go through any more difficulties."
As the days passed, Thor, Clint and Sam also approached Tony, one by one, to express their support for Peter's adoption. They had all witnessed the special bond between Tony and Peter, and had witnessed how the young boy had grown and matured under Tony's care.
Each of them shared stories and anecdotes about Peter, highlighting his courage, loyalty and bravery. They all agreed that Peter deserved to have a solid home and family.
It was a quiet night at Stark Tower. Tony was busy in his lab while Peter, sitting in his room, reflected on his relationship with Tony. They had been through so many missions together, difficult times and shared triumphs, that Peter began to feel that Tony could be more than a mentor or a friend, he could be his ... father.
As he looked out the window at the city skyline, Peter thought of all the times Tony had been there for him, providing support, teaching him valuable lessons and giving him a home at Stark Tower. Over the years, Peter had developed a deep affection for Tony, though he had never found the right words to express it.
In his heart, Peter knew that Tony had taken on a fatherly role in his life. He had been there when he needed him, had comforted him in times of sadness, and had celebrated his successes. Although he had no blood ties, Peter felt a special love and connection with Tony, as if they were family in some way.
However, Peter also worried about how his desire to have Tony as a father might be interpreted. He feared it might be misconstrued as a lack of gratitude to Aunt May or a lack of respect for Ben's memory. Therefore, he decided to keep his feelings deep inside, letting his love and admiration for Tony manifest itself in small gestures and acts of gratitude.
Silently, Peter promised himself that he would always be there for Tony, just as Tony had been for him. He knew he didn't need to say it out loud to show how much he appreciated him. His dedication and devotion would show in his daily actions, in his willingness to learn and grow under Tony's guidance.
In the darkness of his room, Peter smiled to himself, feeling the comforting warmth of his relationship with Tony. He knew he could count on him, even without saying a word. The bond they shared was stronger than any title or label. It was a bond of love and trust, and that was enough for Peter.
With renewed determination, Peter got out of bed and decided to go down to the lab to help Tony with his current project. He wanted to show him that he was there for him, just as Tony had always been there for him.
Tony was going through some old files in his office at Stark Tower when he came across a photo that took his breath away. It was a blurry image of a group of young people at a college party many years ago. Tony focused on one woman in particular who looked vaguely familiar. Puzzled by her appearance, Tony decided to investigate further along with Fri. After reviewing fragmented records and memories, he finally made a surprising connection: that woman in the photo was Peter's mother, someone he had known before Peter was born.
Filled with emotion and nostalgia, Tony recalled the chance meeting with Peter's mother during a scientific conference years ago. It was only a brief moment in their lives, but it left an indelible mark on Tony. At the time, both were focused on their own paths and did not have the opportunity to deepen their relationship.
