Busy life
It had been a busy day, so he simply went into the bathroom to freshen up and cough a little. It always came in handy to do that in solitude, otherwise they would think he had a strain of Sars. Peter emerged from the bathroom cubicle to find a very real Tony Stark standing in the men's room...very very in front of him. He found Tony Stark standing in front of him, with a serious but concerned look on his face.
"Peter, we need to talk," Tony said in a firm voice. "I've noticed that since I made the proposal to be your guardian and be more attentive to you, you've been distant. Am I interpreting that correctly?"
Peter felt uncomfortable under Tony's questioning gaze. Although he greatly valued his friendship and support, he had his own personal problems and well, you all know which one specifically.
"I'm not ignoring you, Tony," Peter replied, trying to choose his words carefully. "I really appreciate your offer and everything you've done for me. But I've also had problems with May and...".
"It's because of the offer? Of ...being your tutor. You had already talked it over with May , but.. if you need something we'll talk again or it's money and I can..."
"No wait! Tony, just that. She feels very pressured because she doesn't.. she doesn't want your money and please don't bring it up with her again. It's not about mentoring me. It's just that she's overwhelmed by the idea and at the moment I have another problem I need to solve first. Do you agree?"
Tony sighed and walked over to Peter, leaning against the bathroom wall with dubious amounts of germs and other undesirable things.
"Peter, I understand you. But I'm not offering to tutor you because I don't trust your abilities. I'm doing it because I care about you...like a tutor with their student or. Something like that and I want to make sure you're safe. Being your mentor doesn't mean I don't trust you, quite the opposite. So...Pete, we get to the point where you tell me your problem and why you ignore me."
Peter looked at Tony, his eyes full of doubt and confusion.
"Are...are you ..you know... drugs?"
"What?! No Mr. Stark, how do you think?"
" Peter, I did too in my youth , you know, I used everything.. and if you need, be given a center that-"
"No Mr. Stark, stop, stop. It's not... it's not that. As you think."
Stark sighed in relief, as he wiped off his suit and peeled himself off the wall.
"I thought well, you know... Are they girls? Or boys? Never mind me...when I was young-"
"Nooooooooooooooooo, Mr. Stark. Look, it's not that. I need to go back to class, really, and ...let's talk about this later in the weekend. Do you think so?"
Tony moved even closer to Peter and put a comforting hand on his shoulder.
"Peter, listen. You have incredible potential and you've become a hero on your own merits. My goal is not to outshine you, but to support you and help you become the best hero you can be. I want to share my experience with you, but always respecting your autonomy and your personal stuff. So we'll talk this weekend or whenever you're ready. If you want alone... we'll just be in the lab. Do you agree?"
Peter mulled over Tony's words and finally nodded, feeling some of his emotional burden lighten.
"Perfect, sounds like a plan."
Tony smiled, relieved by Peter's response. "Exactly, Peter. Sounds...sounds like a plan kiddo."
Peter nodded again, this time with determination. "Thanks, MrStark . See you this weekend."
So the months went by, he really enjoyed and loved being with the boy.
Peter and Tony were in the Stark Industries lab as they did every weekend (if there were no alien invasions or Fury missions), surrounded by state-of-the-art scientific and technological equipment. They had decided to spend the weekend there, immersed in their projects and experiments, enjoying their shared passion for science and technology.Tony, with a mischievous grin on his face, looked at Peter.
"Okay, Underoos, it's time to put your skills to the test. What do you say we work on Spider-Man's new suit design? We can incorporate some improvements and cutting-edge technology."
Peter's eyes lit up with excitement at the prospect of collaborating with Tony on such an important task. "Sure, Tony, I mean Mr. Stark! That sounds amazing. We can explore new ways to improve resilience, agility and maybe even add some special functionality."
Throughout the weekend, Peter and Tony worked tirelessly, exchanging ideas, prototyping and testing different materials and components. They immersed themselves in their makeshift laboratory, immersed in their world of science and creativity. As the hours passed, the relationship between Peter and Tony grew even closer. They shared laughs, anecdotes and advice, forming a deeper bond that transcended the relationship of mentor and student. Despite the difference in age and experiences, they found a unique connection based on their shared passion and desire to do good.
In between experiments and tests, they also found time to enjoy a short break. Tony showed Peter some of the secret projects and advanced technology he had been developing. Together, they explored the limits of innovation and creativity. When evening came, the two sat in front of a huge screen, reviewing the results of their research over pizza and obscene amounts of hamburgers. They watched as improvements to Spider-Man's suit materialized into digital models, with features such as night vision, improved web shooters and an advanced defense system.
Peter couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Tony. It was a dream come true for him, combining his passion for science with his duty to protect the innocent as Spider-Man.
"Mr. Stark, I can't express how grateful I am for all of this. I mean your time and money, the technology and .. being with me," Peter said sincerely.
Tony patted Peter on the shoulder, with a mixture of pride and affection on his face. "Underoos, the pleasure is mine. You are a talented young man and I wouldn't think of doing anything different. Really...I thank you for sharing with an old man like me."
"Old man, Mr. stark.. you still hang out with the playboy bunnies, I really don't think that fits old man."
"Well... if we're going to talk about it.."
"It was a joke, I don't want to know about it.."
"Oh nononononono, Peter, now you get my story about how I posed in front of vanity with no clothes on..."
"Pepperrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"
