Pride Parade
Bucky and Sam are in the pride parade. He is the first one Bucky attends and although it is somewhat overwhelming due to the large number of people and noises, he is happy to be there with Sam, especially seeing the sparkle in his friend's eyes and his wide smile.
Sam had hesitated about whether he should go now that he is the new Captain America, he already has many people against that idea without needing to add one more reason for retrograde people to hate him. Everything Sam is and isn't seems to be a reason for certain people to make him feel like he doesn't deserve to wear that shield: He's not Steve, he's not a supersoldier, he doesn't look like Steve, he's black, he's gay... Simply, sometimes it feels too much, but, at the end of the day, he is Sam Wilson and he has always fought to defend his values and what he believes in so he asks Bucky if he wants to accompany him, the man agrees and Sam explains that there are people who will not like that and that maybe they should go incognito. Bucky has a face that Sam can't decipher
"Do you think we should go incognito?" he asks.
Sam sighs
"Not really. We are an example for many people, especially young and younger and many of them are surely members of the collective and some may be going through a difficult time because of it and maybe seeing people they admire showing support, will help them understand that there is nothing wrong with that. BUT," he puts a hand on Bucky's shoulder, "I know how little you like being the center of attention and believe me this is going to put a lot of attention on you and not all of it is going to be good and it's okay if You don't want that to happen.
"Let's do it, let's go barefaced, if you think it can help someone we have to do it, what does it matter what people without brains think?"
Sam gives Bucky his open-toothed smile that makes little wrinkles appear in his eyes and gives him a quick hug.

There have been many people who have asked them for photos or autographs and they have agreed, but they are also watching the parade. They are watching the floats, when something catches the attention of both. There, climbed on the one that approached are them.
Well, two guys dressed like them, but the resemblance is amazing and Sam's Captain America suit, shield and vibranium arm are very accomplished.
Bucky watches them intently, before looking to his right, meeting Sam's winking gaze. Bucky can't help but smile on his face, but he looks away from his friend because that gesture provokes him more than it should.
His gaze falls back on the Sam and Bucky of the float and he feels a kind of panic, longing, desire and sadness when he sees the man dressed as Sam lean over the man dressed as him and kiss him.
He can't look away from the scene.
When the kiss ends, he notices that Sam is looking at him, but he makes every effort not to return the gesture for fear that Sam will read everything he feels on his face and eyes.
Someone on the carriage sees them and warns the two guys dressed like them. That's when the fake Captain America announces their presence and invites them to go up. Sam looks at Bucky worried, that will put even more attention on them, the chestnut seems to be weighing the options, getting on a carriage and being seen by a lot of people is not his thing, but he remembers Sam's words about some young, teenager or child feeling bad about who they are or what they feel and that fills him with determination, grabs Sam by the hand and, amid applause and cheers, climbs with him to the carriage .
They greet the people who are up there and then with a gesture they greet the public. Someone asks for a picture of the four of them together and they agree, but then someone yells for them to kiss and the crowd starts asking for it.
Shit this is not what Sam had in me when he decided to attend the parade. He'd be lying if he said he hadn't thought about kissing Bucky because it was something he did more often than he should, but in none of those scenarios did anything like this happen.
He doesn't want Bucky to feel compelled to kiss him and looks at his partner who just shrugs and then, Sam leans over, not looking away from Bucky and slowly enough in case the man wants to walk away or sees the slightest sign of rejection, but Bucky approaches him too and a second later the lips of both come into contact. It could have been a brush of lips, but it's not.
They kiss slowly, sweetly and slowly, Bucky's hands are on Sam's hips and Sam caresses Bucky's face and, honestly, they could stay to live in that kiss they have been waiting for so long.
