Toxicity[Miguel O’hara]

The next day was beyond excruciating.

After my friends left I went back to my apartment with the aim of getting some sleep, as the previous day was quite a full one.

As I was making my bed, a wave o pain hit my body. I fell to the ground, hands hugging my belly, trying very hard not to cry.

The pain was so intense I could feel it in every inch of my body, like someone was constantly pinching my skin with the sharpest knife out there.

Blood poured out of my hands due to squeezing my nails in my palms. Only it wasn’t supposed to hurt that bad. My nails weren’t big. As I looked down at my hands, my short and elegant nails have morphed into huge black talons.

“What the f*ck” I said out loud.

I tried getting up but i physically couldn’t. My vision turned blurry and red, barely being able to distinguish light from dark.

I managed to take a glimpse at myself in the broken mirror on the floor that I knocked down when I fell.

My teeth took the shape of long sharp fangs and my hair turned white from my precious ginger color. What was happening to me?

After a little while I fainted due to the pain. 

When I woke up it was already mid noon. My head hurt like crazy and I lost track of time and space. I managed to get up and go to the bathroom to rinse my face with cold water. 

My eyes were back to green but my hair did turn white. I opened my mouth expecting to see the fangs but they weren’t there. 

My talons were also gone. What a weird experience. If it was a dream then why was my hair still white? 

I went about my day when Cass called that she and Jay had a surprise for me. 

They teleported in my room just moments after.

”I love what you have done with the place” Jay said. 

”Yeah dude what happened to your house, we were here just a few hours ago, how did you make such a mess” Cass asked with concern written all over her face.

”I had a mental breakdown, you can tell by the dyed hair” I replied.

“It does suit you thoo” Cass assured me.

“Now tell her about the surprise” Jay said with excitement.

I was just relieved they believed my lies from before. 

Cass then opened a portal and dragged me in it.

I found myself in a place almost as confusing as my transformation from last night. 
A place filled with so many spider people that it almost seemed like a comic con convention.

I looked around but as I did I bumped into someone. A tall and firm guy who was very pissed.
