Trust
He stopped swinging and took a moment to comprehend what he was looking at.
"No- it, it can't be there shouldn't be anymore anomaly's... "He didn't think it was real but on the off chance that it was he had to investigate.
As he rounded the short corner into the alley he was actually somewhat hoping it was something to do with the spider society. As lonely as they made him feel sometimes he thought it was better then being well and truly alone.
What he found around the corner was an armadillo dressed in medieval knights armor. "Blasts this stone prison! " He exclaimed.
Unsure of what to do Miles decided to see if he could talk to this guy, unfortunately for him the armadillo got to it first.
"Halt, you there! " Miles sighed his own armadillo was annoying enough but this guy was getting hard to listen to, he supposed he should just wrap this up and keep going but where would be even put this guy, Miles was unsure but he figured someone would come looking for him so he might as well just take him down and leave him on top of a building.
Just as he was about to do that a golden light caught his eye, and he turned around to see a portal opening. "Great just great".
While all this was happening the armadillo was still just standing there and took his opportunity to pounce on Miles who was still staring at the portal.
Just then someone came through the portal and got him off in the nick of time.

Margo was doing her daily work of being spider-woman and doing most of the spider societies computer work, when she was called out on an anomaly alert, which were few and far between these days. On the off chance an anomaly did appear usual Jess or some other Spider-person would go after them but today was different most people were in their own dimensions or doing other thing so she decided she would take it.
Margo would be lying if she said she didn't almost have seizure when her watch said the anomaly was coming from earth-1610. When she saw what the watch said she almost noped out of the mission right then and there, but there was a part of her that wanted to go, wanted to go and see him. So against her better judgement she opened a portal, but then froze, she was contemplating everything that had happened in that dimension. Miles had been so angry even after the fighting was done. Gwen had tried to comfort him, talk to him but it didn't do a lot in the end he turned his back to them and asked them to go, Margo hadn't wanted to press the matter so she and all the other spider-people went and no one had been back there since.
Gwen and Peter had tried to go on multiple occasions but ultimately they chickened out. They had given him a watch before they left him. Salt in the wound if you asked her. Gwen Had been distraught when it had happened hobbie comforted her but it was painful non the less. Everyone somewhat thought he would show up in a week or so but he never did. It's been about a year since then and because of the somewhat lack of anomaly's everyone started coming in less and less.
But now as Margo stood in front of the portal she knew it was time to take the first step in heeling the cracked relationship that had formed between Miles and others. So she ran through the portal only to come face to face with Miles and a very angry looking armadillo.
