Final Wish

"I am inevitable," Thanos says, snapping his fingers, expecting all of reality to be razed to its last atom so that he can rebuild the universe in his image. When nothing happens, he looks at the gauntlet to see the stones gone. He looks around to see Tony Stark, the only man on the other side worth respect, the man he knew was gonna be his rival. The only man who could stop him because, unlike the steroid boy, witch butch, assassin slut, stupid archer, pigeon follower, ant fanboy, thunder god, and the rest of them, Tony Stark was intelligent like him. Like him, nobody believed him of the catastrophe, no matter who he warned, be it his wife, friend, team, the world. They all said he was egotistical, made him out to be the villain, only for him to be proven wrong. They were both like Cassandra of Troy, never to be believed but always right and accurately see the incoming doom.

Tony Stark's hand glows as the gauntlet that had the stone shields his body long enough to snap. "And I am Iron Man," Tony says, snapping. As he snaps, he thinks about what he wants to happen. 'Turn to dust all of Thanos's army and punish Team Cap and their supporters. Trap them in their living nightmare and make sure Natasha lives her hell. Her afterlife in the soul realm is reliving the Red Room. Destroy the time machine, remove all knowledge of how time travel was achieved, and send the stones and Mjolnir back to where they belong,' Tony thought. With that, a boom was heard, and energy erupted from the stones. The gauntlet channels his desires, making it reality.

Tony finds himself in an orange realm as he tears up at the man he saw.

"Yinsen," Tony said.

"Did you waste your life, Tony?"

"No," he said as he was back on Earth. He falls to the floor as he sees Rhodey, the Spiderling, and Pepper gather around him. Pepper tells him he can rest now, that she and Morgan will be okay. Tony closes his eyes as the arc reactor flickers until it turns off, symbolizing Tony Stark's last heartbeat. Peter, Pepper, Rhodey, Thor, everyone kneels to the true hero of the universe.

Thanos falls to the ground, accepting defeat as he fades away with the rest of the enemy into dust. He knows the fate of all of Tony Stark's enemies, to die or be imprisoned.

Wanda lets out a yell, "Ah, it hurts!" she yells as the chaos magic, her enhancements from the Mind Stone, is all being removed. She falls over. Steve, seeing this, rushes to Wanda before he too falls on the floor, going back to ugly skinny Steve Rogers.

Clint clutches his eyes as he yells, "My eyes, I can't see." That was how the stone granted Tony's final wish, to take away an archer's most prized possession, his eyes.

The Falcon gear on Sam Wilson blows up as he flies to Steve. He falls to the floor and loses his legs and injures his spine. What goes around comes around. Sam, trying to stop Rhodey, made him lose his legs and mobility. Now the same happened to him.

T'Challa and Wakanda feel the Vibranium armor get hot as they quickly take off their armors, and boom, it blows up. A call comes. It was Ramonda saying all the Vibranium blew up. Shuri clutches her head. She feels her brain turn empty. She forgets everything, loses her IQ, as with most clever people in Wakanda.

Natasha wakes up with ice water poured on her. She then sees the man she despised and feared the most, Dreykov. "Ah, my lovely Natalia, you're home. It's time for training. Today, you will dance, and every time you stop, we will cut a finger off," he said, caressing her cheeks. As the other Black Widows, Yelena led to the stage, she looks pleadingly at her sister, who emotionlessly pushes her onto the stage. Natasha sighs as she dances for her master, Dreykov, who knows what will happen next if he calls her to his room for a private dance like he always does. Is her time as an Avenger, a hero, a dream? A cruel face made up to make her feel good. Is her brain taunting her?

Christine Everhart's office

Christine walks. She had heard Tony had died. She feels conflicted. She wanted to hate the man. He slept with her and discarded her like yesterday's trash, but he saved the world multiple times. He listened to the people he claimed to fight for when others, Rogers' crew, didn't.

She looks on her desk and sees USBs materialize and a letter. She reads it.

"Hey, Carrie or whatever your name is, a final gift from the one and only Iron Man, Tony Stark. Proof Team Cap's crimes, starting from the assassin Natasha and Clint, to the crimes of Captain Hydra, Steve Rogers, and Hydra witch, Wanda Maximoff. It started with you. Allow me to say, 'I am Iron Man.' It's only poetic I give you the last biggest news story. Enjoy your life."

Christine has tears in her eyes. She hated Tony sometimes and liked him at other times, but she didn't want the man dead.
