Summary
Peter wants to ask out his best friend, and things go better than expected.
Note
I love this ship so much. There needs to be a lot more of it. I think these two could really work, in the comics especially.

“Okay, Parker, you got this,” Peter told himself as he walked through the penthouse in Avengers Tower. “Just walk right up to her, start the usual small talk, and once you’re both comfortable, ask her out.”

“Oh, you’re gonna ask Wanda out? It’s about time.”

Peter yelped and turned to see a smirking Natasha.

“Don’t sneak up on me like that!”

She snorted. “You're so nervous I didn’t even have to try.” Then she gave him a stern look. “Hey, look at me. You got this. Alright?”

He gave her a small smile. “You think so?”

“I know so. You two are so close. She’s gonna say yes.”

Peter released a breath he didn’t realize he was holding. “Thanks, Nat. I really needed to hear this.”

“Any time, Pete. Now go get her.”

Peter turned and walked into the living room. Wanda sat there on the couch, remote in hand as she browsed through Netflix.

He silently crept up behind her and covered her eyes with his hands.

“Guess who.”

Maximoff grinned. “Hey, Peter.”

“Hey, Wanda.” He removed his hands and looked at the screen. “Stuck browsing through Netflix again?”

She groaned. “There’s nothing on here that I haven’t already seen.”

Peter sat down next to her. “What about Inside Job?”

“Finished it.”

“Cobra Kai?”

“Lost interest after season 4.”

“Dark Crystal?”

“Done.”

“The Witcher?”

“Yes.”

“Okay, then. Forget Netflix. Go to Peacock.”

“Yes! The King of sitcoms!”

She clicked on Peacock and started browsing.

“Okay, what do we want?”

“You know, I haven’t seen Brooklyn 99, yet.”

Wanda grinned. “Me neither. Let’s do it.”

They sat on that couch for hours. They just kept watching one episode after another.

“It’s past 9:00, and I have classes tomorrow. The responsible thing to do would be to stop now and go to bed.”

Wanda yawned. “Good idea.”

Then she laid her head on Peter’s shoulder and closed her eyes.

The young man’s eyes widened. “Uh, Wanda? What are-what are you doing right now?”

“I’m going to bed.”

“Wouldn’t-wouldn’t you prefer your actual bed?”

She snuggled into him. “You’re comfortable enough.”

Peter gulped.

He looked down at Wanda.

God, she’s adorable when she sleeps.

The vigilante sighed before wrapping an arm around her and laying his head on top of her’s.

Peter woke up feeling a weight on his chest. He opened his eyes and found Wanda lying on top of him, sleeping soundly.

He smiled and gently brushed her hair from her eyes.

Wanda woke up with a yawn a few minutes later. She opened her eyes to see Peter’s staring back at her.

“I was right. You are comfortable. The perfect body pillow.”

He snorted. “You’re pretty comfortable too.”

They continued to stare into each other’s eyes.

Then, without thinking, without caring that they were technically in a public place and anyone could walk in…Peter kissed her.

The kiss was soft and gentle.

They broke apart and they seemed to be frozen in place.

Wanda suddenly grabbed Peter’s face and kissed him fiercely. Peter grasped her hips and pulled her closer to him.

He sat up and she responded by straddling him.

A fire had gone off inside them both. Their moves were fast, frantic, as if this moment was their last.

They separated, panting heavily.

Wanda gave him a sharp look. “Your bed. Now.”

Peter’s eyes widened. “Are you sure? I don’t want to take advantage of-”

“Peter! I have been waiting. Patiently! For you to make a move on me for months! And I’m done waiting! I need you Peter!”

Peter stared at her. “What time is it?”

Wanda checked her watch. “6:12.”

He grinned. “My classes don’t start ‘til 10:40.”

Then picked her up, eliciting a squeal from the lady, and carried her to his room bridal style. Wanda giggled as Peter set her down on his bed.

As he climbed on top of her and they wrapped their arms around each other, Peter couldn’t help but think, “Wow. I really do got this.”

Natasha walked towards Peter’s room and was about to knock when she heard some very unexpected moans and grunts.

She took a step back before grinning smugly.

She walked into the dining room to see the other Avengers look at her inquisitively.

“I thought you said you were gonna get Peter and Wanda?” Stark asked.

“I was, but they’re busy.”

“Doing what?” Clint questioned. “And what’s with the smug grin?”

She then outstretched her hands. “Pay up.”

The group’s eyes widened in realization, and they all groaned out, “AH COME ON!”

“One day!” Clint complained. “One day away! They seriously could have waited ‘til tomorrow?!”

“Or one week?” Sam.

“Or one month?” Bucky.

Tony smiled. “Well, I, for one, am happy that Peter finally did it. Win or lose.”

He happily handed Natasha her winnings while the others were very reluctant.

“Uh…How long will it be until they join us? Their food is getting cold,” Steve asked.

“Did you seriously just ask how long those two can fuck?” Tony teased.

The team laughed as the Captain blushed.

“Morning guys!” Peter called out as he and Wanda walked in, hand in hand.

They stopped upon seeing everyone’s smug looks.

Wanda tilted her head before her eyes briefly glowed red. Said eyes widened a moment later.

“They know,” she said uneasily.

Peter’s eyes widened.

The couple blushed deeply, causing everyone to laugh.

“Okay-okay. I only have one rule,” Tony said after calming down. “Don’t do anything outside of your rooms.”

“Oh, like you and Pepper haven’t,” Bruce accused.

Stark’s eyes widened. “That’s different.”

“How?” Thor asked.

“This,” he gestured at everything. “Is all mine. I only let you use it. And I can do whatever I want with my wife here. Besides, don’t act like I haven’t caught you guys doing the same thing.”

The young couple was now thoroughly grossed out.

“We accept your terms!” Wanda practically shouted.

They both sat down at the table and began to eat.

“Do you have any plans tonight?” Peter asked.

“No. But I’d love to spend it with you.”

The Avengers smiled at the happy couple.

“What did I tell ya, Pete? You got this.”
