The walk to HQ
Miles: And what are you doing here? Should you be in Mumbattan?
Wendy: Me? I’m going to get an earful sooner or later. Might as well be now.
Hobie: Glutton for punishment, this one is. Whenever she does something wrong she tells the boss. I never really got that if I’m being completely honest.
Wendy: Hey!
Miles: Why would you do that? I don’t know much about this boss guy, but I wouldn’t tell on myself for something!
Wendy: It’s not that I tell on myself. It’s-.
Hobie: It’s that you always look incredibly guilty whenever you do something wrong.
Wendy: Well, it’s never too late to change that. I’m also coming along for different reasons.
Gwen: And what is that?
Wendy: At least one mentor has to be on your kids’ side.
Hobie snorts and smirks as Miles and Gwen look at the two before looking forward once more.
Hobie: Love to see that I’m rubbing off on you. You’re growing your own rebellious streak, Wendy.
Wendy: That and…
They reach the HQ doors and pause for a minute.
Wendy: They’re going to need all the help they can get.
