It has been 10 years since the Hale house burned down, resulting in an imbalance in Beacon Hills. The town has become a beacon for the supernatural, attracting evil forces. The local Sheriff's Department has tried to keep things quiet, but the disappearances of hikers and tourists have been alarming. In the past five years, supernatural occurrences have surged, and animal attacks spiked overnight after the Hales' fire. Without the local pack to maintain balance, rumors spread, and everyone knew something evil was lurking in Beacon Hills. The Sheriff's Department faces mounting pressure to resolve these cases.
For a hundred years, Beacon Hills had only one recorded animal attack until ten years ago, when a young girl from Beacon Hills High School was attacked. This incident was followed by a devastating fire that claimed an entire family, a surge in missing hikers and tourists, and a drastic increase in murders—nearly 100% overnight. The once-peaceful town was unrecognizable. Meanwhile, in Mystic Falls, Derek was teaching history at a newly established school for supernatural beings. There, he met her again—a visiting lecturer whose talk about Pompeii captivated him. Her scent and musical voice drew him in, but he knew she was dangerous.
Ten years ago he was overcome by instinct, he bit her, claiming her as his own. After discussing the situation with his parents, it was decided that she would leave Beacon Hills and Derek until he turned 18, at which point she would return to complete their bond.
He remembered his uncle and mother arguing about whether he should keep the memory of her. In the end, his uncle retained it, allowing him to remember his true mate. Time moved on, and he tried to embrace new experiences.
Now, his wolf took over as the overwhelming need for his mate, his Alpha, drove Derek to find her. Their reunion was intense and occasionally painful, but worth the wait. She completed their bond, tying Derek and his wolf to her so tightly that he struggled to think without her influence. That night, he fully submitted—body, soul, and mind—to his Alpha and mate.
The night that Peter was killed, the anger that rolled from Derek to words the young wolf peter had turned. How dare they burn his uncle, one who survived the fire with devastating consequences, just for doing his job as the left hand. And her anger did not help the situation in any way, as Peter laid there burn, rugged breasts coming from the injured wolf that laid on his back staring up at the young pup that about to take his life and his Spark.
Out of nowhere, the pup flew and landed on his rear. An elegantly dressed lady aimed a gun at the pub. The injured wolf couldn't move, but the scent of his nephew calmed him; he knew Derek was nearby, likely in the tree line.
Little pup pleaded his case, the rumor of taking out the alpha that had bitten him to become human again. What a freaking joke, the lady dress elegantly plainly pointed out that "it is too late for you that you already drawn blood twice on the full moon, there's no cure for you. You are forever wolf, you will deal with it and get control or I have no choice but to take you out and I will."
McCall, a spineless little pup, insisted that he was innocent and that he had not drawn blood. The elegantly dressed lady plainly asked the young hunter, "Allison, who gave you that cup above your eye?"
"It was an accident. We were at a party, and Scott told me to get away from him. When I didn't listened, he pushed me away, and I hit my head on the coffee table," she informed them.
"Stiles, how did you get that scratch on your chest?" she asked the young pup's best friend.
"Scott tried to attack me on the full moon, so I had to hit him with a bat to get away. He didn't mean any harm; he was just learning to control his wolf, and it was his first full moon," he explained.
The lady warned, "By drawing innocent blood, you've sealed your fate, Scott McCall. You are forever a wolf."
It was the human among them who asked the burning question, "Who are you exactly?"
The lady replied frankly, "Who I am is of no consequence. What I do, on the other hand, is much more important. I am the judge; I am the seeker of truth, and I punish those I deem guilty of their crimes. What right do you all have to burn a wolf in such a manner?"
Once again, it was a human who had the nerve to speak up and accuse the wolves, dying and burning at her feet, of cold-blooded murder.
"What do you know about the men he took, or the Huntresses and the alpha that he tore apart? You call it cold-blooded murder; I call it justice. The wolf is simply doing his job as the left hand. Yes, he has acted were out in the open, as it should never have been. But every one of those he has taken is guilty on all charges and then some. The only one that can truly be called a murder is the alpha who was torn in half. She was guilty of abandoning her responsibilities and leaving him vulnerable when he should have had his alpha there to defend him."
A voice was heard only by the wolves and the lady that stood above him with the gun still pointed at Scott. Peter called for his nephew to take his life and the spark before it was too late. And yet he did not move from the tree line into the open he had flatter out refused. Telling Peter that he would survived as he had before. The young wolf did not want to bury another member of his family, that was when Peter said that he shall be Reborn with his mind intact. But to do that his nephew must take his life and the alpha Spark.
Reluctantly, slowly derek came out into the open and stood above his uncle looking down. His eyes full of sorrow, is shoulders for slumped, he hung his head down, he really didn't want to do this. But he knew he had no choice, it would not be the first time his choice was taken away from him, most likely won't be the last. His uncle had promised that it would be okay, through their Bond they had a silent conversation peter reassured his nephew. Closing his eyes he bend down and tearing his uncle throat with his claws taking his life and the spark.
He stood there with his head down for a moment, feeling the tension in the air. Everyone held their breath as he sensed the heat radiating from his friend, who was still aiming the gun at Scott. He could feel the power of the alpha coursing through his body. He was the alpha now.
The boy accused Derek of stripping him of his chance to become human again. The lady warned, "If you had killed Peter today, you would have become the alpha, and Derek would have had to eliminate you."
she pointed out to Mccall, "You barely can control the wolf now and what hope would you have for any control if you became the alpha today. Be warned Scott, if you out the supernatural to humans, if you course any injury a innocent I would not wait until the argent's take you out, i'll do it myself. Learn to control your wolf before you kill someone"
