Note
Hello!Welcome to my new story! It has been in drafts, but I could publish it now, because I had some things to do also another intern drove me crazy! Before starting to this story, I want to give some warnings.1. This is a boy x boy story, there may be smut at some point, if you are uncomfortable so please don't read the story.2. This story contains step brothers falling in love with each other. THEY ARE NOT BLOOD RELATED! I'm emphasizing it, because some people don't understand the step sibling concept and think it is incest. Let's check the meaning of incest.Incest: Voluntary or involuntary sexual intercourse between blood related relatives.STEP SIBLINGS ARE NOT BLOOD RELATED SO IT IS NOT INCEST!IF IT WAS HALF - SIBLINGS RELATIONSHIP IT WOULD BE INCEST BECAUSE HALF-SIBLINGS ARE BLOOD RELATED!Since stepsiblings are not blood relatives, they are legally free to marry each other. There are no state laws that prohibit marriage between stepsiblings since they are not at risk of having children with genetic defects due to being close blood relatives.3. In this story Kouyou is Chuuya's mother and Paul is Chuuya's father. If you will say something about this, please leave at this instant... I really have enough bullshits in my life and I don't need more. It doesn't have to make sense to you, but it is not something to dwell on.Anyway enjoy ^-^.

Midnight Wanderings And Eternal Marks

As the clock struck midnight, Dazai and Atsushi stepped out into the cool night air, their footsteps echoing softly against the deserted streets. The moon hung high in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the cityscape. Atsushi couldn't help but feel a sense of exhilaration mixed with nervousness as he walked beside Dazai, their hands occasionally brushing against each other.

"So where are we headed?" Atsushi asked, trying to sound nonchalant even though his heart was racing.

Dazai glanced at him with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes. "Oh, just thought we would wander aimlessly and see where the night takes us."

Atsushi nodded, trying to appear casual even though his mind was buzzing with questions and anticipation. They walked in companionable silence for a while, the only sounds being their footsteps and the occasional rustle of leaves in the breeze.

As they passed by a quiet park, Dazai suddenly veered off the path and gestured for Atsushi to follow. "Let's take a detour through here. It's peaceful at this hour."

Atsushi hesitated for a moment before nodding, intrigued by Dazai's spontaneity. The park was bathed in moonlight, casting eerie shadows that danced across the grass. They walked along a winding path, the silence broken only by the distant hoot of an owl.

"I like nights like these," Dazai remarked, his voice soft and thoughtful. "Everything feels so... Calm."

Atsushi nodded in agreement, feeling a sense of closeness with Dazai as they strolled side by side. He stole glances at Dazai's profile, admiring the way the moonlight highlighted his features, casting his dark brown hair in a silvery sheen.

"Have you ever wondered what it would be like to just disappear into the night and leave everything behind?" Dazai's voice interrupted Atsushi's thoughts, drawing him back to the present.

Atsushi furrowed his brow, pondering the question. "Sometimes, I guess. But then I think about all the people I care about, and I realize I wouldn't want to leave them behind."

Dazai nodded, his expression thoughtful. "That's true. We all have our reasons for staying, don't we?"

They continued walking, lost in their own thoughts until they reached a quiet spot near a small pond. Dazai sat down on a nearby bench, patting the seat beside him invitingly. Atsushi hesitated for a moment before joining him, their shoulders brushing against each other.

For a while, they sat in comfortable silence, watching the moon's reflection shimmer on the water.

"You know," Dazai spoke up after a while, his tone casual yet meaningful, "I'm glad we met. I feel like we understand each other in a way that no one else does."

Atsushi felt a warmth spread through him at Dazai's words. "Yeah, me too. It's like we are on the same wavelength or something."

Dazai chuckled softly. "Exactly. It's rare to find someone who gets you without needing explanations."

Under the soft glow of neon lights, Akutagawa and Chuuya walked hand in hand, their breaths mingling with the cool night air. They were on their way to a renowned tattoo parlor, its walls adorned with vibrant designs and the buzz of tattoo guns filling the air. Inside, the atmosphere was a blend of excitement and anticipation, as people of all ages and backgrounds adorned themselves with permanent art.

As they stepped into the parlor, the scent of antiseptic mixed with incense greeted them. Akutagawa's eyes scanned the walls, searching for the perfect design. His gaze settled on a sleek, elegant black cat, its eyes piercing yet mysterious. Chuuya, on the other hand, was drawn to a white cat, playful and graceful in its depiction.

"I think I will go with this one," Akutagawa said, tracing the lines of the black cat with his finger.

Chuuya nodded, his eyes alight with excitement. "And I will get the white cat. They will look perfect together."

The tattoo artist, a tall woman with green hair and colorful tattoos covering her arms, approached them with a warm smile. "What can I do for you two tonight?"

"We would like matching tattoos," Akutagawa replied, his voice steady despite the flutter of nerves in his stomach.

The artist nodded, leading them to separate stations where they could sit comfortably. She explained the process, assuring them that she would work diligently to bring their chosen designs to life.

As Akutagawa settled into the chair, he felt a mix of excitement and apprehension. This would be his first tattoo, a permanent mark on his skin that would forever remind him of this day and his love for Chuuya.

The artist began, her hands steady as she carefully etched the black cat onto Akutagawa's skin. He felt the buzz of the tattoo gun, a strange sensation that was both sharp and oddly satisfying. He clenched his jaw slightly, focusing on the image taking shape before him.

Chuuya sat nearby, watching with keen interest as the white design emerged his own skin. He could feel the sting of the needle, but it was a bearable discomfort compared to the anticipation of seeing the finished tattoo.

As the minutes passed, the room filled with the sound of buzzing machines and soft music playing in the background. Akutagawa closed his eyes, letting himself get lost in the rhythmic motion of the needle. He thought about Chuuya, about their shared dreams and aspirations, and about the bond they shared.

Chuuya, too, was lost in his thoughts. He pictured their future together, filled with art and creativity, and the memories they would create along the way. The pain of the tattooing process faded into the background as he focused on the love he felt for Akutagawa.

Finally, after what felt like both an eternity and a fleeting moment, the artist stepped back, her work complete. Akutagawa opened his eyes, a surge of adrenaline coursing through him as he admired the intricate black cat now permanently inked on his skin.

Chuuya's tattoo was finished as well, a mirror image of Akutagawa's in white ink. They exchanged smiled, their eyes shining with a shared sense of accomplishment.

"It looks amazing," Chuuya said, reaching out to touch Akutagawa's tattoo gently.

"You too," Akutagawa replied, tracing the lines of Chuuya's tattoo with his fingertips.

The artist handed them aftercare instructions, reminding them to keep their tattoos clean and moisturized as they healed. As they thanked and prepared to leave, Akutagawa felt a sense of pride wash over him. This tattoo wasn't just a piece of art; it was a symbol of their love and commitment to each other.

Outside, the night had deepened, and the streets were quieter now. Akutagawa and Chuuya walked side by side, their hands still intertwined. They talked about their plans for the future, about the exhibitions they wanted to participate in and the places they wanted to travel.

"I can't wait to show everyone our tattoos," Chuuya said, a grin spreading across his face.

Akutagawa nodded, his heart full. "They will know we belong together, like these cats."
