Standing on my feet
*NADYA POV*
I woke up with my breathing labored and my heart beating at a rapid rate. The bed sheets were drenched in sweat, as were my pajamas.
I looked around, I was not in HYDRA's cell, but in my room in the Avengers tower.
I knew that after this nightmare I wasn't going to be able to sleep, so I got up and left my room. I wasn't clear where I was going to go, but I didn't want to stay in my room.
Going outside was not an option, it was dangerous to go out at this hour alone. So I decided to go out to the garden.
When I arrived I saw that there was someone else
- Tony? - I said when I realized who it was
- Nadya? what are you doing here at this hour? - he asked turning towards me
- I couldn't sleep - I answered him sitting next to him, but leaving a separation between the two of us.
- Nightmares? - he asked, although it sounded more like a statement than a question.
I just nodded
- about HYDRA? - he asked again and I nodded again - do you want to talk about it? - this time I denied
- What are you doing awake? - I asked
- I don't usually sleep when Pepper is not there, she is my rock, you know, since Thanos, she has been helping me with my recovery, she never let me down - he answered.
- Where is she now? - I asked
- she is on a business trip - he informed me
- And Morgan? -
- She is with Happy, he will bring her back tomorrow and you can meet her.

- This I am going to tell you now, I don't usually say it, but after Natasha's death and my death and resurrection, I have realized that life goes by very fast, to Natasha I couldn't say it, but I will say it to you. Nadya, you are like a daughter to me, just like you are to Pepper, when Hydra happened, it scared us so much, finding out what they were doing to you there was the worst thing I could have ever heard. Something that has been helping me a lot with all this, has been talking, Pepper is my rock, the only person I can really talk to, find your rock and talk to her - she told me.
I didn't know what to say, I didn't think Tony Stark could tell me these things.

We both got up and went to our respective rooms.
*YELENA POV*
I woke up when I heard a scream coming from Nadya's room.
- Nadya - I whispered getting up from my bed.
I ran to Nadya's room, trying to make as little noise as possible.
When I was at the door, I debated between going in or knocking, if Nadya was still in the nightmare, even if I knocked she wouldn't hear me, but if I went in without knocking she would probably try to shoot me. Spies are always in alarm when they sleep. I knocked on the door anyway, and as I guessed Nadya didn't answer, so I decided to open it. Slowly, without making a sound, I approached her bed. Knowing what could happen, I decided not to touch her, instead, I called out to her
- Nadya, wake up, you are not there anymore, you are here, with me, we are in the Avengers tower, we are safe - I said to her.
But another scream was heard
- Nadya, wake up, I need you here, I know you can get out of this nightmare, come on - I told her again.
Luckily, she woke up, but her breathing was very agitated, she was trying to get some air, but she couldn't.
- hey, hey, I'm here, breathe with me - I said - can I touch you? - I didn't want her to get worse than she already was, so before acting I asked her. She nodded
- I can't breathe - she said with her voice cracking.
- So, I want you to breathe with me, I'm going to put your hand where my heart is, and you're going to breathe with it, okay? - She nodded again.
I took her hand and put it on the left side of my chest, that way, she could feel the palpitations of my heart.
As far as I could see, the trick worked and her breathing was returning to normal.
- Better? - I asked her
- Yes, thank you - she said.
- You have nothing to thank me for - I said and hugged her.
- I talked to Tony - she said - a few hours ago -
- And what did he tell you? -
- he said I was a daughter to him - she told me, which surprised me.
Tony Stark telling someone about his feelings, other than Pepper, is something I would never have expected.
- He also said that I had to find my rock, someone to talk to about my feelings, I guess that's you, you are my sister, even if not by blood - she told me.
- I'm glad to know that you know you can talk to me -
- And I think Lila is too, can I have two rocks? - she asked
- You can have as many as you want, if they keep you on your feet - I answered her
- I do - she said, with that smile I hadn't seen in my sister for so long.
- Do you want to stay in bed or shall we get up now? - I asked knowing that she wouldn't want to go back to sleep.
